Ecco rubbed his head as he looked at Cayso and Diver. Well, if you say so, then maybe it¥s good indeed that I didn¥t know him. But to come to another point: We remained here quite for a too long time and should continue our way back to your brother.

Ecco nodded. Alright kid. You have a good heart mate, he said as he laid a hand on his shoulder. But remember that you have to follow your own goals as well. Ecco gave a little smile and stepped over to Cyrix. Do you think it will take them much longer to come back?

Cyrix shook his head at Ecco and replied, "I doubt it...in fact I'm willing to bet the only reason they are taking this long at all is that Longtail is hunting something...not to eat mind you, but just for the fun of it. Even a half sharptooth has to hunt." He then faced Ecco.
"But if you need to get to your brother then you may go, and we'll catch up as soon as we can. I don't want you to worry about us. You're brothers health is just as important as ours." he said with a warm smile.

Longtail was moving so slow that he was afraid even the smallest breath would give him away to the mother fast biter. He set the dead carcass down next to her and immediately tip toed away from the cave and the female fastbiter.

Swiftclaw was some steps behind Longtail, he saw the kid Flyer delivering the prey and fleeing and he thought for a bit - "I really should do the same, a female with hatchlings to protect can be very fierce." - After that, the Fast-biter kept on walking as quick and silently as he could and left the prey next to the other one, close enough for the Fast-biter mother to notice them when she awakes. After some more seconds, he reached Longtail - "She really looks dangerous don't you think? I hope I'll be able to have a mate like her." - He then began walking deeper in the forest. - "We should go now Longtail, your hunting skills are exceptional, but your friends must be sick-worried about you."

Cayso looked at Cyrix and Ecco - "I say... I'll wait just a bit more, after that I'll return to my herd. Ecco, you can remain here if you wish mate, I'm sure you'll have a good time if you go to the Great Valley."

"You are right... " - Cayso said, bowing to the Raibowface. He is still asking himself if it is a good idea to wait some more, but it may be too dangerous to go away by himself. He sat down again, to wait for Longtail and Swiftclaw to return.

Especially in this hard situation of your bro. So, just let¥s wait for the others now and then go to bring the nightflowers to your brother.

Longtail smiled at the compliment from Ecco and flapped his wings as he replied, "Yeah, we should go. Besides...I do not want to be here when that momma fastbiter wakes up."

"Don't worry Longtail will be here in a moment or two...even he knows it's not wise to make us wait too long."

Darkness chuckled.
"Are you sure he's not doing anything stupid...some hatchlings get ideas that they can do anything...when given the chance."
