~Pain, ooh, so much pain~ Ecco looked down at himself and noticed that his whole body was covered in blood and pain. The earth began to shake and with every shake his head hit harder against the stones behind him. ~God damn it, what the hell is that?!?~ *Bomm, bomm, bomm, bomm* Suddenly a creepy big face with bared teeth appeared and smashed into Ecco¥s body.

"Guaaah!!!" He woke up with a scream, fastbreathing and sweating. As he looked around his sight became black for a moment, because of the sudden wake up.

Meanwhile Cera was also asleep and huddled between Littlefoot and Spike.

Brandor and Scarface changed some asking looks as they saw Cyrix wander off. It didn¥t take long til Scarface began to ask what they both were thinking about: "Anyone knows where Cyrix is going?"

At the scream Mim sprang up and looked around looking for danger.

Diver woke up smacking her lips a bit as she rubbed her eyes. "maybe he went for a snack or some water." She said.

Soon Blue-eyes, Ali, and her mother were awake.

"What's going on?" Ali asked as she sleepily looked around.

Cayso had no time to wait for an answer when he heard Ecco's scream, so the kid Fast-biter jumped next to his friend. - "Ecco, Ecco, are you ok? what's wrong?" - he asked as he knelt.

Swiftclaw, who was laying in some grass without sleeping, suddenly stood up after hearing the scream. - "What happened?" - he stood up while making a defensive stance, but he relaxed when he realized that was Ecco was suddenly screamed, maybe from a nightmare? at least it is not because of an hostile attack.

First Ecco didn¥t notice his friend Cayso jumping next to him. Then he looked up: "I....I honestly don¥t know. I know now that it was a nightmare, but it may have a deeper meaning. All seemed very real. As the creature smashed it¥s head in my body it almost felt like real pain." Ecco started to shiver as he thought about his dream again. "I am sorry if I scared anyone around here, or have waken somebody up."

Cera meanwhile shot up like a rocket, tumbled backwards and fell over a sleeping Spike. Petrie, who was still lying on her, fell down in front of Ali¥s feet. But he had a deep sleep, so he didn¥t wake up. Littlefoot continued sleeping like before.

Seeing no danger and hearing Ecco speak Diver looked at him. "A scary sleep story? Those can be very scary, they certainly can, since they seem real while you are asleep." She said, patting him gently.

Swiftclaw stood up and said. - "Well, that scream scared the lazyness away from me, so I guess I'll remain awake for now." - the grown-up Fastbiter said as he stretched his arms.

Cayso smiled and placed a hand on Ecco's shoulder. - "I am glad it was only a dream. If you need something, just let me know, but the faster you do ask the better, because I think it is best for me to leave now.... I kind of have a bad feeling." - he said trying not to erase the smile on his face, so Ecco would not worry too much, but Cayso is not sure that would work at all.

"Thank you Diver. But, I did have nightmares before, I know how they feel. But this one,... it was different. I never dreamed something like this before. Even thinking about it get me shivers."

Then he turned to Cayso with a sort of disbelieve and sadness in his voice.
"Thank you too for your support. But I want to make one thing clear. You aren¥t going anywhere without me." Then he smiled and grabbed the fastbitters hand, which still laid on his shoulder. "What I mean is: I accept your decisions and I¥ll try to give you as much support as I can."

Cayso heard Ecco's reply. - "Your support is most appreciated, in fact, that is what may have saved my life on many ocassions. But right now, all my concern is to take this Flowers to my brother so he can be cured, and when we get to meet my Herd, we'll figure out the meaning of your nightmare... whatever it was, we will have a better chance if we have all the support we can get." - the Fast-biter kid said as he looked at the others. - "Most of them are very tired for the journey, and I feel bad to ask them for more, that is why I wanted to sleep for a little bit so I could make sure all of you were sleeping for when I could sneak-out back to my Herd." - He looked at Ecco again. - "That was what I had originally planned and I am not sure if that was kind of selfish for you, but I also thought you would need the company of other Leaf-eaters, as they could give you clues for your own journey."

"I am understanding what you¥re adressing to and I can totally understand your way of acting pal." Ecco paused a moment before he continued. "Most of the things, about fastbitters and the way of acting with them, I got from you. Sure, the others here tought me a lot as well", he looked to the group of leafeaters, some sleeping, some awake, "But honestly, I¥d rather like to stay with you. I think we make a pretty neat team til now and I couldn¥t bare it to see you go away and be left in the thought that something could happen to you any moment."

There is no way for Cayso to know if all Meat-eaters could get to feel this fine, and even safe, around Leaf-eaters, because in any other circumstances, they would be enemies. He has been in special circumstances before and he sure knows he can trust this group of dinosaurs. He smiled as he said. - "Well, I guess I will wait for everybody to get ready and then we can start moving again, because I really want to return to my herd as quickly as I can."

OOC: I guess we'll soon need a post from the GM to get the plot moving as the incoming group of dinosaurs should be arriving in the next post or two. Please re-read this message, for some reason I think I may have mis-written something and I don't want any of you (Nimrod and Kor) to stop posting

OOC: I was also waiting for GVG to post, since he is the GM and he is the best one to keep the plot moving. As for me, after a whole year, I forgot what was I had planned for Cayso, that is why it might have made things confussing, if I did that, I apologize. I'll try to make a decision very soon and post again later today, is that ok?

OOC: If my memory serves me correctly, Cayso was debating wether to leave the group to get a head start so he could deliver the Night flowers to his younger brother, but he didn't feel right abandoning the others after all they'd been through. And I believe that the group of fastbiters outside that is stalking the group are waiting for something as well.

Unfortuneatly I'm too tired now to post anything I'll try again later this morning.

OOC: Well, officially, my final exams are over (crossing fingers so I won't have to make another one if my scores are not enough). So I can say that I am back

IC: Cayso looked at the dinosaurs nearby. - "I made my mind, I am going back to my herd now, I think I can make a good time since the caves are no longer a mystery for me" - he looked at Mim. - "I agree that travelling in groups is better, you have no idea how many times that have saved my life, but I think time is on the essence." - He finally looked at Ecco. - "Will you come with me?"

Swiftclaw looked at the Fastbiter kid - "If you are going now, try to hide on bushes until you enter the caves, and then find more bushes as soon as you get out, these lands can be very dangerous so you don't want to draw any attention." - the bigger Fastbiter said. - "I will remain here, and I will help protect them if anything bad happens."

OOC: Not that I really wanted Swiftclaw to remain in the group and leave the kid to go on his own, but when the group of Fastbiters I have mentioned arrive after Cayso leaves, then I will want a character to be with the main group. If any of you think otherwise I am open to all suggestions.

"You can always count on me mate, you know that." Ecco adressed to Mim afterwards. It might be better to go in a group, but from the stories Cayso told me, it could come to complications if such a big group like ours will meet his herd. So I think it¥s better this way."

Cayso looked at Ecco. - "Ecco is right, if I go with Ecco it will be easier, so they will not attack any of you." - the kid stood up and began walking towards the caves, he then turned his head back. - "Once my brother is healed, we'll meet you again... but you might be half your way back to the Great Valley... nevertheless, I'll be happy to find you on route so we can escort you." - he said as he bowed to the dinosaurs there as a sign of respect, he looked at Ecco and then looked back to the caves. - "Let's go partner." - he said as he began walking now.
