Longtail who was far too excited to even think about sleeping said, "I'm so helping with guard duty! This is my chance to repay you all for helping me!"

Cyrix yawned as he sat down and gave a tired smile as he said, "Alright...but if anything happens, or you see anything that might be dangerous...you shout as loud as you can okay?"

Longtail nodded and smiled.
"Just like you taught me."

IC: Ecco walked over to Longtail. It¥s nice to have you,... let¥s say back to normal stage again, he said and smiled.

Scarface felt better now, much better, thanks to the nightflowers. You can sleep, he said to Blue-eye. I am full of energy, thanks to the nightflowers.

Mim looked at the others, "Do we know who'll be on which watch?" She asked.

Ali's mother thought for a bit, "I'm willing to be on either the first one or the last one, either is ok with me." She said.

Cayso managed to get an eye opened, and he smiled as he saw the others deciding, or trying to decide, on what turns they will take for sleep or do watch. - "Maybe I should help doing a watch turn?" - Cayso managed to ask Ecco, as he began sniffing the air, as he thought he perceived a strange scent.

"Just give me some little time to rest, and I could do it for the next watch." - Cayso said to Mim, he then turned his head to Ecco and asked him. - "If you help them with this first watch, please wake me up for the next one, ok?. But please be alert, I think I could smell a scent from a stranger, it was very faint,... but I don't want this group to be caught by surprise."

Cayso looked at Ecco and nodded too, as he thinks. - "I wish I wouldn't need this, but I think I have no choice... just some little time should do it." - Cayso doesn't really want to sleep, but his body asks him otherwise, so he did clode his eyes and began sleeping.

Ali's mother curled around an area where some had gone to sleep and laid her head down to go to sleep be sure to wake me if I"m not awake for the last watch, or if anything happens." She said and closed her eyes to rest.

Blue-eyes looked at Scarface, "How about you?" He asked him.

Alright then. Let¥s go over to this big rock, Littlefoot said as he nooded in the direction of a big stone standing next to the way they were coming from. Suddenly, as they walked over there, a unknown scent passed his nose. Do you smell it too? he asked Ali.

It¥s alright, Scarface said. Please just rest for a while. I am totally okay thanks to the nightflowers now. My tireness went away, but not yours I think. So just rest for a while, I¥ll let you know if something strange is going on here.

After some more time he sighed. Sadly I can smell members of my herd. I think they will come to us. We should be prepared.

OOC: Do any of you know about GVG? he has not posted in several days already.

IC: The strange scent Cayso felt a little ago made him worry enough to not go into a deep sleep. In fact, he was just taking a rest, his closed eyes allowed him to listen better at his surroundings, trying to get ready if something happens.

Blue-eyes sniffed the air then nodded, "I do smell what I think the others smell."

Ali sniffed as well, "I smell something, but I'm not sure what it is." She said looking at Littlefoot.

"If those are your herd members they may find us or pass us by. We should stay close together and some should rest, the rest on watch sounding an alarm if and when they do come." Mim said.

Longtail sniffed the air as well and he immediately took a fighting stance even though there was no apparent danger. "I'm not letting my friends down, not after what they did to help me!" Longtail said with a determined look on his face.

Cyrix sniffed the air and sighed, as he knew who this herd belonged to. He stepped over and asked Scarface "How far away do you think they are? And should we be ready to fight?"

Cayso remained where he was, with his eyes still closed he was able to feel very faint vibrations and sounds... without opening his eyes he said - "They are not too many, they are maybe part of a scouting party" - He opened his eyes and stood up while grumbling - "I hope they are not into a hunt... I wanted to try to sleep for a bit."

For a brief moment Longtail and Cyrix locked eyes and nodded to each other and both began to walk in the direction they could smell the scent coming from. Cyrix then turned to Cayso and said, "Don't worry, Longtail and I will make certain they don't find out about our herd...just trust us."

"Don't so anything reckless, ok?" - The kid said, with a very serious look on his face, he saw them leave and Cayso went near Ecco. - "We should be ready, just in case... but if something happens, I really hope Scarface will help solve this without more blood shedding."

"Maybe we should form a tight group, the younger and smaller ones in the middle, the larger and more capable of battle in the outer area. In a similar formation to how some farwalkers do." Mim said.

Diver nodded, "It may certainly be a good idea." She said.

"If we could offer some alternative food sources they may leave us alone." Blue-eyes suggested looking at some of the others.

Longtail sighed and turned around as he said, "No. Uncle Cyrix and I can handle just a few, we'll be fine...I promise. Besides, after all the fighting you guys went through to get here, I feel like I owe you all for helping me, and this is my way of paying you all back. Besides, I'm kinda looking for a fight anyway!"
