Well, Cayso is a good fighter. He has much experiences in it. He has beaten me. I almost died. But he saved my life as well, like the others. ... Do you think you can walk alone?

Swiftclaw looked at Scarface and replied - "I'm fine, let's go stop the fight." - Then the fast-biter began walking to where the fight is happening.

Cayso kept looking at his opponent, his eyes focused in Darkness' eyes while waiting for his move, he moved his legs a bit, still keeping a defensive stance, as he began thinking - "Help may be delayed for a bit, so I guess I must survive his next move, if not, then it was a pleasure to meet me."

Darkness wanted to fight, but after a moment of staring down Cayso...Darkness wasn't so sure this fight was worth continuing. He turned to see both Swiftclaw and Scarface coming his way...and he could tell what ever was going on wasn't going to end well for him.
It was at this point he turned around and noticed as well that Cyrix and Longtail were beginning to walk over as well, and that was when he knew this fight was well past over. He submissively bowed his head till it was touching the ground and asked:
"Please...let me live...I swear, I won't harm any of you anymore...I was so certain that I would be victorious...I don't like the idea of death and personally living to see the bright circle again would be a great joy for me."

Longtail could only smile as he heard Darkness confess his feelings like that. "Well ya win some ya lose some right guys?" He asked a casual and amused tone in his voice.

Indeed, Scarface said from behind. He walked over to his herdmember and laid one hand on his shoulder. It¥s good that you¥ve decided for the right thing, he said and smiled.

Cayso sighed in relief, he broke his defensive stance and began walking normally again - "I am glad this is finally over, I just wish there would have been no casualties." - He then looked at Cyrix - "What should we do now?, sould we return to the group now?"

Cyrix turned to face Cayso.
"Yes...that would be the best. The others must be getting worried about us." He then turned around, and patted his nephew on the head with a smile as he began to walk back to the others.

Longtail immediately fell into step beside his uncle.

Darkness stayed on the ground for another moment, before finally standing up and stepped next to Cayso. "I'm sorry...for all the trouble I've caused. I hope you can forgive me."

Cayso looked at Darkness with a serious face - "I think you did nothing wrong, you were hunting and I understand that. I do that too. But I wish that your friend had survived this day. Darkness, can we still be friends?" - but then the kid gave a wide smile - "Fighting with you was very fun, we should have a rematch one day."

For a brief moment Darkness looked at Cayso as if he were crazy, but then gave a small smile of respect as he responded.
"Yeah...sure Cayso...I'd like that, being friends and all. And a rematch sounds good too. Just tell me when and where...and I'll be happy to try."

Suddenly something amazing happened with Brandor. Out of his wound, were Longtail made his final strike, there came a golden glowing. Brandor¥s feet began to shake in short periods til he opened his mouth to talk in slow, heavy words. W..who sais,... that I¥m dead...?

Scarface looked with a mix of surprise, scaryness and gladness at Scarface. He couldn¥t trust his eyes for the first few seconds. But soon he realized, that this was real. "But... Longtail,... didn¥t you?

Cayso looked back, his eyes widened as he saw what happened - "Wow!, you are alive?".

Swiftclaw forgot for a second the pain of his own injuries and jumped to arrive quickly where his partner is - "Brandor!, are... are you ok?"- He then looked at Darkness and Scarface, and then he saw Brandor again with much amazement - "I saw you die, how can you be back again?".

Dammit... don¥t ask me man. I..don¥t know myself, Brandor answered, breathing slowly. Maybe.... the leafeaters know. He said with a tone of animosity in his voice.

Longtail turned around just as stunned as everyone else, but his instincts kicked in and he took a fighting stance.

Cyrix held Longtail for a moment and said, "Wait nephew...this is very rare...to see a fallen enemy rise up once more. It's almost unheard of."

Longtail took a closer look at the supposed death strike he'd given Brandor, and noticed the glowing..."Hey look at his neck wound...that was suppsoed to be te fatal blow, but its glowing...just like...

"THE NIGHT FLOWER!" Shouted Cyrix in a moment of pure shock and awe.

Darkness gave a short smile as he stepped over to Brandors body. "Well..and here I thought I was tougher....to live after being struck down...perhaps you are better than me after all my friend."

seems... like during the bite in his shoulder... I swallowed some of his blood, Brandor said. A...and, if this was...infected with the nightflower before,.... then it¥s possible... that some of this infected blood... went over into my body.

Cayso looked at Brandor, and then to Cyrix - "How is it possible?, are those little flowers really that powerful?."

Swiftclaw also moved nearer Brandor - "You sure have something to brag about" - He then knelt besides his hunting partner - "Let me help you stand up."

Brandor made a denying gesture. Go away, I don¥t need your help man. I can easily stand up alone. And anyway,... why isn¥t this rainbowface dead??, He said with anger in his voice.

Longtail looked to the bite on his should and winced as he felt pain shoot through it again. He then noticed all of his wounds were starting to glow...a faint yellow like color, and he then realized it was the night flowers!
'Wow...those flowers are better than I thought! thought Longtail for a moment, but at hearing Brandors comment, he stepped in front of his uncle and took a fighting stance, ready to attack if Brandor made the wrong move.

You silly prey, don¥t you understand anything? I¥ll recover and search for you. And I¥ll kill you. With that Brandor stood up and ran with uncertain steps in the direction of Longtail. But he fell again very soon. Tears were running out of his eyes because of frustration. I¥ll KILL YOU!!! He crouched himself on the ground. The pain in his wound was still hurting very bad.

Longtail sighed as he watched Brandor fell and tried to strike out at him. He then took a step towards Brandor and asked, "Why do you hold such hatred in your heart? Besides the fact that killing is part of who you are...you seem to be angry, and I want to know why."

Brandor gave a sigh. But not just because he knew that he hasn¥t a chance to fight Longtail now, also because he knew he was right. I... I don¥t know myself. My parents told me to be like that... I never wanted that, but they didn¥t stop to tell me to do so. Bad memories are chasing me every night. Memories of the enemies I killed. I can¥t forget them.
