Cayso also went closer to Brandor - "You may never believe the things I can tell you, because I am just a kid, but I am a Fast-biter too, and I have seen death and I have killed myself too. I... I was even forced to fight and kill a close relative of mine." - the kid pauses for a bit, as he tried to avoid shedding a tear and as he used his right hand to cover the large scar on his left forearm. - "...I think it is never late to find someone that can help you keep honest. Sometimes, we cannot find the answers and we need the extra help that person can give us. Find that one, I think that can help you" - Cayso gave a few steps closer and knelt next to Brandor - "Right now, the one that helps me prevent my nightmares to chase me is dying. and even though these Leaf-eaters know what I am, they are helping me. If I can overcome all of my instincts, then I say you can learn to do that. So you can choose who you really want to be."

Brandor looked away, because he didn¥t want to look straight into the eyes of the little fast-bitter. He shed some more tears as he turned around. I...I really don¥t know who to trust and who not. I think I would need someone who could lead me to the right way. But, right now, I am helpless. It¥s such a mess in my head. I really dont know what now.

Brandor looked up and noticed that that was the truth. He looked at Scarface first, then at Darkness and than at Swiftclaw. And Suddenly, he began to smile. You... you are right. There is nothing I have to worry about, he said and slowly stood up.

Cayso gave a few steps back to give Brandor some space - "I am glad you found the strenght to stand up again." - he then looked at Scarface and then to Cyrix - "I think the others may be worried about us, maybe we should return, there is still someone else that needs a miracle from the Night Flowers."

Cyrix immediately nodded his head as he said to Cayso "Alright, you go ahead of us and we'll get there when we can...just make sure your brother is okay. Don't worry...it'll all work out in the end, you'll see."

Darkness smiled as Brandor began to stand up. "Good...very good. Now come on...ti's not every bright circle that we become friends with flatteeth. Let's show them our genuine hospitality."

Longtail was still a bit cautious about all this, but he didn't want to make a scene so he simply stood next to his uncle and smiled.

Cayso looked at Cyrix for a second and nodded - "Ok, I'll go first then, don't be late." - After that, the kid began walking with a fast pace towards the group. But he just stopped and began looking at Cyrix and Longtail from between some high bushes, just as a precaution.

Swiftclaw moved closer to Brandor and Darkness as he smiled. - "I agree, I think it is time for us to repay the favor."

Cyrix smiles as he continues to walk after Cayso ran ahead.

Longtail for the first time since this adventure started felt...at peace, and he turned to the three sharpteeth behind him and waved his wing. "Come on you three...keep up!" he said with a laugh.

Darkness gave a sly smile.
"Alright kid, we're coming...just relax!"

That¥s unbelievible, Brandor said. Just a short time before I wanted to kill this flyer. He started to laugh a bit about the thought. Scarface turned to the group now. I am really glad you decided for the right, he said with a smile.

Swiftclaw looked at his Herd partners. - "This has to be the strangest experience I have ever lived."

"Well, it seems there is nothing to worry about." - Cayso thought as he saw the others walking towards him. He then smiled and began walking again, returning to the group.

Longtail sniffed the air as he caught a scent, and he turned around just in time to be knocked on his back by the Red Horn leader Crusher.

"Time to die freak." Crusher said with a laugh as Longtail struggled.

"What the...!" - Swuftclaw screamed as he suddenly saw the redhorn appearing from nowhere, but for the attacker it was just a loud screech as the Fast-biter jumped to attack the Redhorn.

The Red horn leader had Longtail pinned to the ground, but not hard enough to hurt him...yet as he faced off against Swiftclaw.
"Bring it on fastbiter...I have ways of making you die." said Crusher with a confident smile

Swiftclaw couldn't understand what the Redhorn said, but he could understand the look on his face - "Food that can defend itself is the most rewarding food." - the Fast-biter hissed as he kept a defensive stance. After a moment, he made up his mind and run towards the Redhorn, attempting an attack.

Even while being pinned under Crusher, Longtail managed to squawk out in sharptooth, "Don't....attack...Swiftclaw...just...let him...think...he's...won..."

Crusher stepped down harder on Longtail's neck with a sadistic smile.
"Come on freak flyer, try to fight back." he said trying to goad Longtail into moving

Cyrix wanted to act, but he knew if he did it would only put Longtail in more danger.

Longtail's claim made Swiftclaw to top his attack, he then bared his teeth and maintained his position near the attacker. - "I hope you know what you are doing kid" - he said, his eyes full of anger.

Longtail nodded his head at Swiftclaw and then used his tail to smack the Red Horn leader in the face.

Crusher was upset now, and he continued to push down harder on Longtail's neck.
"You don't deserve to live....this is a one sided world, and you are a mistake that will be quickly corrected.

Cyrix then tapped Swiftclaw on the shoulder and using his eyes indicated that they should attack at the same moment. He then whispered, "Get ready..."

Swiftclaw made a small smile after hearing Cyrix and got ready himself.

In the mean time, Cayso was half the way from returning to the group when he stopped as he catched a scent - "There are many dinosaurs, they are far, but I can still feel their scents..." - the kid thought to himself, trying to figure out the identity of those dinosauir scents - "they are... Redhorns? in this area?" - Cayso looked back - "maybe I should go back, they are taking too much time to reach me."
