Cayso smiled at that conversation and said - "It is never a bad idea to have some extra luck stored, just in case." - He then looked at Darkness ad Cyrix and said - "Let's go then, before the others get too nervous." - and the kid began walking.

Cyrix followed behind Cayso knowing he was right about never having too much luck. "The more luck one has the better their chances are for...well...anything!" commented Cyrix.

Longtail began to sniff the air and quickly enough picked up the scent of Longnecks nearby.
"And this is a good day! Lets go Swiftclaw!"

Cayso kept on walking back to the group, but he looked back at Cyrix as he couldn't avoid asking the Rainbowface - "Is your nephew Longtail always so impulsive?"

Swiftclaw smiled and decided to follow the Flyer's lead to the prey curious because he didn't expect to see a Flyer like him so eager to hunt. - "Then I'll follow your lead, and we should be more quiet now, one successful stamp from a grown-up Longneck and it is all over for any of us!."

Without so much as blinking at the question put before him, Cyrix chuckled lightly at Cayso and replied with a wide grin.
"Yes...yes he is. Almost always impulsive...which might explain why he gets into trouble so easily." He then laughed again as he said ,"But that is what makes Longtail fun to have around, when he gets bored he'll tell you...then he'll do something about it!"

Longtail quietly nodded his response to Swiftclaw as he could now see the herd of Longneck as they happened to be sleeping in a rather large cluster. He was flying extremely low to the ground, but for a moment he thought it would be a better idea to call off the hunt, but his confidence returned quickly as he bolted forward with a burst of speed and bit down hard on a younger longneck that happened to be sleeping outside of the massive herd.

Swiftclaw looked at Longtail and he smiled as he began running at top of his speed to reach the Flyer - "I don't believe it, the kid did it." - the Fast-biter thought as he was running evading all bushes, leaves and trees to avoid making noises, waiting for Longtail to fly low enough to help him finish the Longneck. And that happened, Longtail flyed low enough for Swiftclaw to jump and use his bigger teeth to crush the victim's neck.

Cayso was still curious - "I do wonder... will he ever have problems in the Great Valley, if his hunter instincts ever take him over?... I've been inside that Valley, and that place can be very dangerous."

Longtail felt good...better in fact than he had in a long time. He smiled as he dove in to catch another baby longneck he smiled, almost crazily as he opened his beak and closed it around the baby's neck he couldn't help but giggle as he felt the little thing start to squeak in pain.

Swiftclaw looked at Longtail - "He is a very good hunter... but something isn't right about him." - He thought as he waited for the Flyer's arrival, when he did he told him - "I think this should be enough, you are taking a great risk... and it is never sane to bite more than you can chew." - There is concern in Swiftclaw's voice, but there is also the feeling of pride, for him to see a hunter in a Flyer like Longtail.

IC: Past: Before the hunt Brandor told Swiftclaw that he is sorry. But he really wants to make a good impression to the other leaf eaters, after all he has done and he would join Cyrix and Cayso to the rest of the herd.

Present: I am really worrying, Ecco said. Hope they¥ll come back soon. If not I¥ll go to take a look what happened.

Cayso looked from between some bushes and he then looked back to tell Cyrix and Brandor with relief. - "I think that we finally arrived." - He gave a step back and said - "Mr. Cyrix maybe you should introduce our new friends to the group, so they will not freak out."

Longtail nodded to Swiftclaws suggestion and flew away from the herd of Longnecks and landed next to him. He then set the dead longneck hatchling down and asked, "So, how did I do?"

Cyrix nodded and stepped forward to face Mim and the others.
"Well I'm sorry for our being late everyone, but it seems we've picked up a few more....friends along for our journey home." He then turned to the others behind him and waved his hand signaling that they could step forward.

Swiftclaw looked at Longtail and smiled - "I couldn't have done it better myself. Just try to be careful for future hunts." - As the fast-biter made sure the Longnecks were dead, he looked at Longtail again - "If you are hungry, you can get the bites, after all they are your preys."

Cayso was still behind Cyrix when the Raibowface made the signal, the kid was the first to appear and walked as he said - "Ehh.. you already know me" - Cayso began walking a bit faster, going to where Ecco is, as he didn't want the others to have problems to see the new comers.

Ecco was glad the Cayso and the others were okay. He couldn¥t help but gave Cayso a short hug. I am so glad you are okay.

Brandor followed right after Cayso. He knew that he might scare the others with his scars he got from the fight. So he crowded his body a bit that he wouldn¥t seem that tall. Eeh,... hello everybody, he said a bit unsure and looked through the folks. I.. I hope it¥s okay,.. if I could help you on your journey. Hope you don¥t mind...

Darkness also stepped forward still a bit hesitant about how the others would react. He waved as he spoke.
"Hello...sorry to join so uhhh...suddenly, but we want to help and give ourselves another chance."

Cyrix nodded to confirm what the other fastbiters had said.
"It is true, they tried to attack us, but after explaining that this was all just a big mistake, they agreed to join our herd as protectors."

Longtail smiled but shook his head. "No...I don't need to eat, I just wanted to hunt." He then nodded his head at Swiftclaws comment about being safe, "Yes, I know, but my uncle Cyrix hardly lets me hunt anywhere, so this helped alot!"

Swiftclaw took a glance at the kid Flyer and sighed - "But we cannot let this food to get wasted... hmm, maybe... there is a female Fast-biter, that is living alone with her hatchlings away from any of the nearby herds, we can leave this food close to her. What do you think?"

Cayso was indeed happy to see Ecco again - "It is nice to see you didn't get into problems, hehehe." - And he saw the Night flowers in the Swimmer's hands too - "And I always knew I could trust my brother's life to you."
Then, the kid turned to see Darkness and Brandor, and commented - "They are very strong Fast-biters, I think their help will be more than welcome."

Mim nodded, "I'm sure it can be of great help. Will they be joining your herd?" Mim asked him.

"Or Deon's herd. If they don't mind eating a lot of fish." Diver said. "They live hear a big water place. Not far into the Mysterious Beyond." Diver said. "But a different way then the way we left the Great Valley."

"I think they must decide that, if they would ever want to leave their own herd, and maybe to talk with my or Deon's Herd's elders if they want to join." - Cayso added to what Diver said, he then got closer to the Swimmer. - "Do you have Fast-biters friends?, that must be quite an event for you to tell others back in the Great Valley."

Diver shrugged, "I have only told a bit of the story of how my friends and I got to the area where our mommies and daddies were. A young fast biter helped us and got back to his family & hard also. I've not told anyone else but my family and my friends have told some of the story to theirs." Diver said. "Though we usually would leave out the friendly fast biter part."
