Ecco walked besides Cayso, still worried about him. He turned his head around to look to the other folks. Ducky was sleeping again on Littlefoots back, and Petrie sat on Ceras back. He also slept now. He turned his head straight on again to sniff in the air. He just sniffed the ugly air but there was also something else, he couldn¥t say what it was. Cayso my friend, do you smell something else than the icky air? I think I do, but I am not sure at all.

Cayso began sniffing some more, and then he picked up something too - "you are right Ecco, I cannot avoid having a bad feeling. I'll try to go find out what is it, you may tell Cyrix about it" - Cayso began walking towards the scent they picked up, when his eyesight began to blurry a bit - "what is happening now? ... it must be some fatigue" - he thought to himself while it tries to not lose his pace so other will not notice anything strange.

I will going to ask him. Ecco walked back to Cayso. Cyrix is asking for what you are smelling, can you say it in any direction?

Mim paused a bit as she heard, "Or is it bad air? Some caves do not get a good mix of outside air coming in, in certain cases." She said. Diver was resting on her back as best as she could.

"Ecco, please lower your voice a bit" - the fast-bitter then showed Ecco the direction with one claw of his right hand of the origin of the scent - "it's somewhere behind these rocks, follow me" - he began climbing the rocks followed by his Swimmer friend when they suddenly saw them some few meters from where they were standing......

Ecco looked in the direction Cayso pointed with his claw. Oh no, that¥s not good, Ecco said with a nervous voice. There were standing three raptors, older than Cayso or Ecco. They were just standing there and sniffing in the air. They are in our way, that¥s the only way we can go. Eeh, I think we should tell the others. And maybe it would be good that you are trying to talk with them in sharptooth language. Maybe they will listen to you.

"Ok, I'll go try to see if they can let us pass, so go tell Cyrix and the others to be ready if my talk does not go well, ok?" - Cayso nodded to Ecco since he agreed with his idea... - "they don't look like Fast-bitters of the allied heards we have... so I hope things will turn out fine." - Cayso thought as he begins to walk from the hiding place.

Ecco walked back to Cyrix. He had a bad feeling but he tried to make himself ready to fight as good as possible, if he have to. Cyrix, he said, over here.

Cyrix followed Ecco over away from the others and said "There is a real problem isn't there...it has to be sharpteeth, are we going to be able to go around them, or do we have no choice to fight? I don't want Mim or Longtail or any of the other young ones getting hurt so what do we do?"

Mim stood in front of where the young ones were, trying to keep herself between any possible danger and the young ones, while Cyrix and the others went off. She wanted to go with Cyrix, but thought it best, perhaps, that one stay behind with the young ones in case there were other sharp teeth nearby.

Diver stayed on Mim holding on tight, not exactly sure what was going on, but knowing something was and it could be dangerous.

Sadly you are right Cyrix. Ecco said nervously while looking in the direction of his friend. There are three raptors. There are in our way, there isn¥t any way around them. Cayso tries right now to talk to them, but we have to be ready to fight. Cayso and me have some good experiences in fights with raptors. So we¥ll going to help you, if there isn¥t another way. Let us hope for the best.

Littlefoot see that Cyrix and Ecco are talking about something bad. He see it because both of them look very nervous. But he wasn¥t sure at all. What is going on here?, he asks hisself, still hoping that it isn¥t something bad.

Me no know, Petrie said while looking around for any dangour. He flew over to Ducky on Littlefoots back. Ducky, wakkke uup, me think there is dangour out there.

Ducky sat up from one at the other moment. What?, Dangour? She said it that loud that everybody in the group could here it.

Cyrix nodded and replied "Well lucky for us I too have some experience fighting sharpteeth, so between the three of us we should be okay, but I do still fear for the young ones and Mim. Well, we might as well go see how Cayso is doing so far." He then turned back to the others and said "Everyone...we do have a problem. It's sharpteeth...three of them, and Cayso, Ecco and myself may need to fight them..." He looked at Mim

"I want you to stay here and protect the young ones...You too Onyx!" The black flyer nodded without a word and stood ready. Cyrix continued to look at Mim for a moment and then turned and walked back over to Ecco and said "Let's go."

Mim nodded, "That is best, they may be the only three, then again." She said, agreeing with Cyrix's plan. She'd prefer to go but did see the need for at least 1-2 older folks to remain with the younger ones. She turned to the younger ones speaking in a soothing voice, "We just need to wait here till they return. If we go we'd likely be more of a distraction and we can make sure there are no other sharpteeth that may try to sneak up on them." She said attempting to give the young ones something to do instead of just wait, though she doubted there were more then 3 since Cayso would smell them, but one should be careful just in case.

Diver nodded, "I'll help keep look out from here." She said from where she sat on Mim.

"I hope Ecco will be here soon, I don't trust those fast-bitters... they look like they only want problems" - Cayso thought, he then took a breathe before moving, he made himself visible and began speaking with the fast-bitters there, trying to get his intentions clear (in the Sharptooth's language).

Cyrix was now standing behind the rock where they first spotted the three fast biters, and he whispered to Cayso hoping he'd hear: "Ecco and I are right behind you...if you need us we can show ourselfs. Are they friendly or hostile?"
