I've known beforehand that it is possible to create awesome looking shades on MS Paint. It just takes time and practice.

I wonder if they did this with the mouse or the tablet.

Well, I saw this many times before. I think they did it with a tablet. That¥s the only normal answer to me. With a mouse it¥s as good as impossible. You would need a lot of practise. Or take a look at this. :

I've seen similar movies with motives I considered less interesting.
It would be awesome to have a similar command of graphic programs.

It's not impossible to use the mouse to create that drawing.
