Grandpa leads Littlefoot outside the cave to a nearby clearing, where he turns and looks down at Littlefoot. "I...honestly don't know what to say, Littlefoot. I knew things in this Valley will be different, but i'd never know that you would become a wizard like Stripetail, and immortal too. But if you and Ali do go away to train as wizards, then what will happen to our herd? I always believe that many things that happen to us are natural in the Great Circle of Life. But now...I just don't know..."

Archer moves his way into the darkness of the crevace, turning around many dark corners, until he reaches a chamber in the mountain, centered by a great ring of stone and jewels. He steps to the ring and kneels. "Oracle. I wish to speak with you."
The jewels of the ring began to glow, slightly warming up the temperature to a comfortable heat. Then a voice spoke, echoing throughout the chamber. "Speak as you wish, Guardian."
Archer stands back up, looking at the ring. "As you may have seen, Oracle, something has happened to several actual residents of the Valley. They may end up leaving the Valley to become sorcerors."
"I have seen what has happened," replied the Oracle, "and I too am concerned about the probability of what is to come, especially when you have just recently encountered your nemisis."
"You have said before that the five children that unlocked the gate are those chosen to help bring forth the Guardians to this world. What will happen when Littlefoot is gone?"
"We must only hope that the child does not leave before the time comes. Hopefully, the wizard will consider keeping him in the Valley until he is old enough to live on his own. If not...then we must try once more to bring another Guardian into this time as soon as possible. I may have found another candidate for the task, but this unexpected haste may cause more harm than good. We will only find what will happen next from Stripetail."
