It goes by many names: Base ball, Magic Ball, 4 stops, there are others. It was one of my favorite games at Sowarkard, and I was very good at it.But I hadn't played it in many years and I was rusty, and being a ghost, I can't throw as fast as I used to . You scored a lot more runs than I thought you would. I thought My large initial lead would unnerve you, and you wouldn't be able to catch up. But you did and now your dueling career is now even at 1 win and 1 loss. As an aside Eva, just between you and me, i've never beaten Stripetail. Ever. I think you may end up falling somewhere in between his Lordship and me, skill-wise. Not quite as strong as his Lordship, but certainly stronger than me." Snowpaw said with a smile.

"Why have you never found peace? ghosts only around if they haven't completed a task or found peace in their lives. Sorry if it a painful question but this is something that couldn't escape my thoughts." Eva put a question.

Well,apart from being seperated from Stripetail, I linger because I died at an early age. I had a great deal of 'unfinished business' that I wasn't able to do. I can never be at peace until I settle that business."

"Well from what I can tell you about humans and dinotons, including rainbow faces all remember the day they was born, getting presents from families and friends celibriting each one year of their brith." Wayne said to Guan. "I know one way to find out how old you are, it kind of from what I know about fossils is the thumb claw of your kind, each year that pass while growing unqiue markings appear since each of your kind has different types of mark on the thumb claws, look at your unlces then yours see the sight different and probably your sisters too" Wayne said to him hopping that he didn't confuse Guan

Guan looks at his thumb claw on his right foreleg, then looks at his uncle's, noticing the distinct differences between the claws. "I never noticed that before," he told Wayne. "So so our spike thumb tells us hod old we are?"

"Yes, kind of but all I know it only told while growing up to full size not after that... but I think I could tell... from what I could see of your uncle Odon the thumb claw from here looks around used it some defensive conflicts and marks on the tip showed that it was around I say 7 or 8 years ago or as you say cold times and the age I say around 45 to 50 cold times... not postive though" Wayne looks at Guan then says

"I say your around 14 to 15 years or cold times old much like my age, I'm 16. But suprising that those men in white coats was wrong saying about 6 years, so I guess that dinosaurs in the Great seem to have a longer childhood, so protected that growing up fast isn't really required now" Wayne said as Odon listened to Wayne talk to Guan about it

"My family was always away, never home... they home for a few weeks maybe a month then head out again for about half a year or maybe longer so I had to learn mainly by myself, swimming Leant with a trainner but most of the time on my own and studying things... never really had a brother or sister either... friends hardly had as well." Wayne said almost in a mutter feeling a bit down with it.

"Wayne is the youngest officer in our planet, his family was wiped out in a Hyper storm on Dinoton. It was a storm that happens once every 500 dinoton years. He don't know about it because it happened when he was very young replacing his family with a family well that works off planet a lot. Wayne is only about 7 or 9 dinoton years old about 16 years old in Earth years" RipRap said to Archer

"I'm sorry to hear that, Wayne," Guan said with a sad tone. "Both my parents were gone when I was little, and I never had friends myself before I came to the Great Valley. But soon I made many friends here, even with you, Wayne. And I'm sure you made other friends here."

Archer looks over to where Wayne, Guan, and Odon are, a few hundred yards away. "That must have been pretty bad for him for a young age, but he's gone a long way by looking at him now."

"Yes, but he don't know his real parents are dead. they died in that hyper storm. Just think of it that lightning in this 3 hour storm hitting a area of 1000 miles more then 5 million times. causing unbelieveable damage. unluckly we couldn't warn the area in time." RipRap said to Archer. "I believe he should know the truth now..."

"Well I'm happy to make friends will you. But I think I am recalling some of the memiors that I that RipRap said that I am from the dinoton world in his dimension that some type of super lightning storm seeing a thick cloud appear over the sky in seconds cutting all the sun out then flashes of lightning, lots of them but can't remember it clearly..." Wayne said to Guan thinking about it trying to bring up some of these memiors.

"I'm going to tell him... he needs to know and the other two would agree." RipRap walks towards Wayne. "Wayne I could see something came up in your eyes"

"Well erm yes, I saw some strange lightning in a storm that appeared in a memior" Wayne said looking at him "What about it?"

"Well that storm happened when you was not even old enough to remember it clearly, that was a hyper storm and well your REAL parents was killed in it and two steped up to take the role of parents that you know off" RipRap answered not sure how he reacted.

Wayne blinked "My real parents died in that!? why tell me this now?" Wayne asked him in a demand

"Because you needed to know before confusion sets in, so I hope you understand why I told you" RipRap said then walks back to Archer.

"Yeah I understand... thank you RipRap" Wayne looks at Guan "So that why I got into being such a dinoton in high rank that I see in these memiors that coming around... I some how knew that my parents that I knew wasn't the cause but the ones that was killed..." Wayne said with a sad voice "So my trainning was a old reminder of the storm and what I lost that I couldn't tell... I understand why I didn't have much of friends in the past"

"Maybe I could, not sure though... didn't know them enough... even though they not around they would want me to go on since I think what I can see in pieces of memior they saved me from the storm but let themselves die in it just to protect me." Wayne said to Guan remembing a few more things but not much of the past.

"But otherwise I'm ok about it... glad he told me" Wayne said walking a bit back and forwards "I think I am getting the hang of walking now" Wayne said changing the subject it but then he triped landing on his front for a second time "Maybe not" Wayne said rolling over on his back sitting up a bit with his tail behind him "Guess that I have a little more pratice" Wayne turns around and gets back up on his feet.

Archer could only nod slightly now, and then looks to see that the sun has already set below the western horizon and the stars are beginning to appear in the night sky.
