X-men & Lbt - Mr Thicknose & Grandpa Longneck take the gang aside to talk with them about the way some of them had sporadic powers that have appeared before and that some of them have powers who didn't seem to. The gang say it makes sense in that they have observed some of them having powers that appeared once or only a few times like Littlefoot remembering how Ducky could stretch her body a bit after he met her. Cera's uncontrolled short range teleport & super yells, Ali's long range only teleport. When Ali is mentioned grandpa longneck nods saying she is like them, but her herd has someone who is has been teaching her the use of her power. & Littlefoot's father is of the same type as them, though he can only do long range teleports of himself and small dinos like kids and hatchlings, not others of his own size like Ali can.

They must be taught to use their powers & the others as well once their powers start to emerge since they are a new type of dino & they must keep their abilities secret since some in the great valley may dislike or fear the new type of dino that has powers. When they must use their powers they must wear a disguise so no one can recognize them.

Really? wow.

I got my idea since I was thinking earlier how some characters in lbt have powers. Some of the powers are just seen once, then started thinking, how about if they were mutants like the x-men and some of those powers were intermittent due to no training or the kid's ages. & some others are not intermittent but controllable like Ali's long range mass teleport & some others like some powers the sharpteeth have are always on since they are permanent powers that need not training to use.

Actually no, I"ve not see it, just a trailer of the wolverine movie, in a version somone had converted so it could run in a program called moonshell on a ds lite flash program. & that was a few weeks ago I think.

This really isn't a crossover so to speak, but the plot idea is a crossover from The Last Action Hero.

A young boy loves watching The Land Before Time every day. He even watches the reruns of the original in the old movie theater downtown. One day, the owner gives him a ticket that is said to have magic powers. The kid takes the ticket, but one day he is warped into the Land Before Time Universe (most likely after the first movie and in one of the sequels). The gang not only question what kind of dinosaur he is, but also how he knows so much about their world and their lives. Eventually, throughout the plot of the sequel, the kid returns to his own world, but he accidentally takes the gang with him. Now the young dinosaurs are in the streets of New York, scared out of their mind. How would they react to seeing no dinosaurs at all? What would happen if they learned that their world only exists in movies? Even scarier, the warp between worlds left a time gate open, connecting the two together, and one angry sharptooth walks through. What will the kids do to get rid of him? What happens when the time gate starts to slowly close, possibly leaving the gang trapped in the strange new world?
