When I was younger, I did catch a couple episodes of this show. The only one I remember is one they did about Gumby (I think that was his name).

If you are referring to the green, living piece of toy clay/whatever, then yes, his name was Gumby.

I did a new list of shorts I found on page 1. Edited a post I did since I didn't want to double post, which I assume is frowned upon here as it is on the other forums I know of.
