Cyrix couldn't help but laugh at Mim's last statement and he replied "He's not really a slime covered rock, but it would make it easier to kill him. Longtail's father is a sharptooth by the name Shackle." He thought for a moment as how best to describe him. "Think of him like THE Sharptooth, only in the form of a fast-biter!"

Longtail nodded and replied "Yeah, whenever I'm forced to call upon my sharptooth half I can feel this incredible urge to just want to kill...it's frightening but intoxicating at the same time....and I'm always afraid I'd lose control one day and hurt my friends." he shuddered after that statement and sat back down in the grass.

Mim nodded, "I guess I misunderstood." She said with a bit of a giggle at the end. "The sharptooth. I guess like combining the sharptooth who killed Littlefoot's mother with 1 of the heard of fast biters who attacked my family and some nearby families. pretty nasty."

Littlefoot was wondering what could be keeping his other friends so long, but thought it best to remain with Ruby and Chomper. His friends were sure to look for them in one of their usual play areas, including here.

"I'm getting a little tired lets rest." Chomper said after he fell off his log.

Ruby nodded, "Fun is fun but if one is tired one needs to rest. She said as she went over with Chomper to rest next to Littlefoot.

"You both were very good today." Littlefoot said them both.

"Thanks." Chomper said as he settled in to rest.

Cyrix nodded at Mim's conclusion and said "yes very nasty indeed. Now what say we help Dante and my nephew?" As Cyrix stood up, he felt a chill run down his spine, and looked to Mim and asked "Did you feel that?"

Mim nods, "An ill wind, foreboding, something foul to come." She said, only partially aware of what she said.

Petrie was growing closer to the group below him. Once he was close enough he called out. "Is scary glow gone, what make it?" He asked, looking around a bit to be sure it wasn't trying to sneak up on them.

Littlefoot shivered a bit, looking in the direction of where what he felt. Chomper and Ruby noticed his look.

"Something wrong Littlefoot?" Chomper asked.

"Did you feel that?" He asked.

"I felt something, how about you Chomper."

Ruby said. Chomper nodded, "I think I did." He said.

"Maybe we should see what our friends are up to. They're usually here by now unless their folks need them to do something." Littlefoot said.

"Yea, lets go, I"m all rested up." Chomper said as he started to get up.

"More friends can have more fun then few friends often." Ruby said also starting to get up.

Littlefoot led the rest in their search of the rest of their friends.

Upon hearing Petries voice, Longtail looked up and said "Don't worry Petrie that scary glow is gone." 'For now.' thought the young flyer to himself.

Cyrix however walked over to his nephew to ask what had happened, when he was greeted by his nephew getting knocked to the ground by a red colored threehorn, the only problem was this threehorn only had one dominate horn, and his two smaller horns were like a pair of crosshairs.

"Hello freak!" he said to Longtail

Mim looked at the threehorn who had arrived. "Who is he? A relative of Threehorn?" She asked meaning Cera's dad. Some observant people may notice she never called him mr threehorn. But did refer to Littlefoot's grandparents by Mr and Mrs. and used mrs with Petrie's mother and most of the other adults, but never used Mr with Cera's dad.

Petrie lands nearby saying, "Good." He takes off again once the new threehorn appears. "He sounds like Cera's dad." He says.

Meanwhile the trio of Chomper, Littlefoot and Ruby were looking for their friends.

The stunned feeling that held Cyrix's body finally let him go, and allowed him to act. He charged forward and knocked the threehorn to the ground and stated "Yes nice to see you too...Korr the Red Horn! Now mind telling me what you and your herd are doing in the Great Valley?"

The red horn looked up and laughed as he said "I'm surprised you asked...I'm here passing through of course, but finding the freak here was a bonus, and now I can kill him for what he did to me in the Mysterious Beyond!" Korr shouted. Cyrix then answered Mim "He is no relative of Topsy...he happens to be one angry, and under appreciated Red horn."

Longtail had finally found the strength to stand up and was shocked to see Korr standing there with his uncle inbetween the two of them. He then did the only thing he could think to do....Longtail ran for his life.

Mim looks at the red threehorn with no fear or much emotion in her voice she said, "not if we or I kill you first. I've killed a few fastbiters and you can't be as hard as they were." She remained relaxed and ready for either act, or remain relaxed, depending on what happened.

Petrie went higher into the air, seeing what the scary threehorn had done he headed towards where Littlefoot's grandparents may be looking for them. He thought briefly of Cera's dad, but thought best not to since he would likely take the red threehorn's side and Littlefoot's grandparents were large and seemed more calm then Cera's dad.

"Maybe their over at Ducky and Spike's nest." Littlefoot said turning in that direction with
Chomper and Ruby following. "Maybe their nest needs rebuilding." Chomper said.

At Mim's calm threat, the red horn laughed rather loudly at that, as he replied "I have no intent on fighting such a young and inexperienced rainbow face now run along before you hurt yourself." He then turned his attention to Cyrix and said

"However you I don't have a problem with bringing down...especially since you allowed that freak of a flyer to get away from me." Korr then began to walk past Cyrix looking the rainbow face in the eyes knowing the same thing he did...as long as Longtail stayed hidden Korr wouldn't be able to hurt him.

Cyrix looked back at the red horn and said "You know you'll never find him, this valley is huge...finding my nephew is going to be impossible. I do wish you good luck though!"

Mim laughed, "Inexperienced, that is a great comedy line. I've discovered a few things like a certain area of the neck is very vulnerable to snapping by little pressure, as well as other body areas that are very vulnerable."

Petrie wished Doc was in the valley. Then he saw Littlefoot's grandparents. He was glad they were so huge and hard to miss. He flew over to them and started telling them what he had seen and heard concerning the red three horn.

Korr laughed again and retorted "You really think you have even the smallest chance against me....that's funny now if you want a deminstration...." Korr was abruptly cut off as Cyrix used his hands to shut Korr's mouth as he replied "You so much as breath in her direction the wrong way and I will not restrain myself..." the male rainbow face looked the Red Horn straight in the eyes as he finished his sentence

"Do. You. Understand."

"What is going on here?" Mr Threehorn appeared with Cera beside him she and him been hearing the whole thing and now Mr Threehorn stepping in.

"Longtail, Dante, I think we should find shelter. That storm will be hitting us very soon and I don't want to be caught in it." Said Vylor, his worry noticeable.

"I think I know of a cave not too far from here." Replied Argaya.

Chomper looks up, "looks like a storm is coming." He says noticing the clouds.

Ruby looks up, "Maybe we should head over to our caves Chomper, that'll protect us from the storm." Ruby said. She turned to face Littlefood, "You are welcome to stay in our caves with us till the storm has passed." She said.

"Thanks." Littlefoot said. He wondered for a moment if he should to find his grandparents or head directly to the caves.

Korr looked to Topsy and said "Well my friend long time no see! How are you?" This of course was the last thing Cyrix was expecting, as he asked "Mr. Threehorn do you know this Red Horn personally?"

"Yes..." Mr Threehorn stared at him. "I should of knew it was you causing all this fus. Red Horn it been a long time and I am fine. And one thing... leave the flyer alone." Mr THreehorn spoke and kept it serious the whole time as he spoke.

Longtail spread his wings, knowing Dante would be able to keep up with the three of them, as he took to the sky keeping Vylor and Argaya in sight at all times.

Longtail now seeing the cave folded his wings, and slid into the cave on his feet, and said "Thank goodness, and just before the storm started!" he said looking back outside to see the sky puffies giving off sky fire.
