The two hook-swords caught Dante by the legs. Vylor let go of his swords, jumped, and began a barrage of throwing staves aimed at Dante's hands.

Dante Grinned, as he pushed up with all his force, launching himself over the staves, and dislodging the hook-swored at the same time. He landed on his feet, and launched himself at Vylor, blades flashing as he began to attack again.

Vylor dodged the blades, and began thrusting staves into Dante at various points. He then began chanting while simultaneously dashing to grab his swords.

Dante stumbled back, but quickly recovered. He crouched low, and began to weave his hands in a series of signs.
"Here you go! Shadow Art: Reflection mirror wall!"
Dante released a strange light around Vylor, and grinned as he awaited the next move...

Vylor crossed his legs, sat on the floor, and began chanting. Vylor then disappeared, and appeared a moment later right next to his swords. The light had vanished. He picked up his swords and shot a series of blasts of white energy at Dante. The blasts hit the staves.

"Gah! Pretty good, Vylor... Guess that means that I'm gonna have to get serious here, huh?" Dante quipped, still crippled by the force of the last attack...
"Here goes! Sankakku Merge!"
Dante stood back up, the glowing wings forming again, and swung both blades in an X-slash, releasing fire and ice waves towards Vylor...

Vylor closed his open palm. Instantly, the staves seemed to thrust themselves into Dante. Then, a white/gray energy began to come out of the end of the staves and coalesced into an orb on top of Vylor's hand.

"Here is your energy. Your life-force. Without it, you should feel fatigued." Said Vylor, gesturing at the orb. "Vanyali." Said Vylor, and a beam shot out of the white orb directly at Dante at whiplash speed.

Cyrix had been thrown back several times due to Dante and Vylor's quick and accurate moves...however the rainbow face was not going down without a fight! He proceeded to run forward and slid under Dante and used his tail to whip Vylor's legs out from under him. Cyrix would've smirked at his minor victory, but he suddenly saw Dante's blades coming down upon his head.

Vylor's hook-swords came out of nowhere and stopped the blade from cleaving Cyrix's head in half.

"You owe me." Said Vylor to Cyrix.

"Oh, Don't worry. I would've pulled the shot. I have no intention of hurting my friends." Dante said, grinning.
"However, Vylor... You're open!"
And Dante lashed out with a swift kick toward Vylor's head...

Vylor took the blow to the head, even though he could have easily dodged it.

Replacing his head was the blast of magic. It hit Dante full on in the chest.

Cyrix nodded and said "Yes...yes I do, thank you!" Cyrix then rolled to his feet and was about to retaliate with another few punches when the wind suddenly picked up once more before Cyrix was knocked off his feet and bear-hugged by his now rejuvenated nephew. "You may want to get out of the way, my nephew...this is a battle zone, and I wouldn't want you to get hurt." Cyrix picked up the little flyer, and walked over to the cave and sat Longtail down before returning to the free for all fight.

Dante's swords clattered to the ground, as he crumpled, clutching his chest.
"Heh. Looks like my skills have gotten a little rusty... You win, Vylor."

"Time for you to see me in my true fighting form." Said Vylor, and began speaking in the ancient language very fast.

A silver glow began to surround him. The glow began to thicken and change, until it became a suit of gleaming armor. The armor resembled Argaya's scales, except for two small slits above Vylor's hands. There were many places where staves and swords could be stored.

"Behold my dragon-scale armor. I forged it myself so that I could fight comfortably in it. It is accommodated with special modifications to match my unique fighting style." Vylor said. "Let me heal those wounds." He added, and began to speak in the ancient language.

Cyrix smiled and commented "Very nice, Vylor, however I gotta say that is nothing compared to what my nephew and I have in store, but I do believe training time is over for now...let's go and rest."

"Agreed. Tomorrow, we begin again." Said Vylor. He took off his armor. He and Argaya, however, did not change back into longnecks.

The two then left the cave and found a nice hollow to sleep in. Argaya curled up around Vylor, and lifted one wing over him.

Cyrix nodded and walked back over to his nephew and curled up next to him...as the little flyer yawned and closed his eyes to finish getting the sleep from his recent battle.

Dante said, curling up on the ground and shutting his eyes...
