Hunter blinked several times after hearing Jereks question of how her grandfather had died, and while still hugging Sieg she replied "I really don't know....he said one day when I was still little that he was going to make a difference in the world...I thought he was going to join the marines which is why I did to begin with....but after seeing that....that thing...I'm confused..." Hunter then paused as she finally admitted to herself "...and scared."

She then looked at Sieg in the eyes and whispered into his ear "As soon as this is all over, you and I are starting a family!" and then quickly fell asleep on Sieg's shoulder.

Sieg smiled at Hunter, whispering to her...
"Yeah... That'd be nice, Miss Hunter..."
Then he himself fell into a gentle sleep...

Dante, however, wasn't tired. He was sitting there next to Jaina, watching her, then he said...
"Did something happen at that base?"

Hunter was dreaming now...about the sun coming over the horizon with Sieg at her side...a bottle of Rootbeer and cheesecake between them. She smiled she smiled as she looked at him wondering to herself 'Why do I always feel safe around you...it's almost a reflex action now so calm and collected....and you know you are...'

A bump made Hunter blink a few times and she remembered where she really was...'Aww...crap!' she then laid her head back down and fell asleep once more..

"There was... there was this voice... it was talking to Heartwood..." I shudder at recalling the sound. "It sounded like it came from everywhere...." I hugged myself and shivered again. "It wasn't Saurian...." My voice dropped to a whisper. "Heartwood said.. he needed me for something.. and then the voice came.." I closed my eyes and looked back down at my feet.

Hunter now realizing she couldn't get back to sleep quietly sighed to herself and listened to what the others were saying, and she suddenly had a reason to speak up..."That was the same voice that was speaking through Damien...it was the only thing that made realize something was wrong....and it gave me the strength to fight back...just barely."

OOC: So everyone knows, there will be a nice big explanation post near the end explaining Damien's plans. Also, Damien is not possesed, nor is he dead, and being controlled. Well, he is dead, but he's not being controlled. He's just, currently, really messed up. No IC post for now, just an update.

Hunters eyes then popped open as she screamed "STOP THIS CAR NOW!!!" As the car came to a screeching halt...Hunter sniffed the air several times and said "Yeah...I've got you now!"

Hunter nodded and whispered "Yeah...that's what made me realize that wasn't the Damien I remember...and it gave me the influence I needed to fight back...but we really need a place to rest for a while...." Then she remembered why they stopped the car...and as fast as a natural bolt of lighting she opened the car door and jumped into the nearest trash can...searching its contents for something...then after a moment she retreated from the garbage can and she shouted with a plate in her left hand...

"AH!!! CHEESECAKE!"

I blinked, momentarily shocked by Hunter's... decision to root through the trash. But then, I broke into a wide grin, parted my jaws, and laughed. Jerek joined in laughing . Perhaps that was what we needed, a good laugh.

Hunter downed the cheesecake in one bite and threw the plate back in the trash and as she headed towards the car, she could hear the others laughing, and as she stepped in she asked "What...I just really like my cheesecake!"

Dante smirked at Hunter for a moment, then became grave as he turned to look at Jaina.
"That voice... That means that the bad feeling I got while I was out was right. Mundus. The demon that my father sealed away, is gaining back power. We may have to fight it..."

Sieg smiled at Hunter as he said...
"Hungry?"

Hunter smiled as Sieg asked his question and she quickly replied "No...I just can't turn down cheesecake...it's just too good!" She then whispered in his ear "Just like you." Then her smile faded as she heard what Dante said "Wait...Mundus...I recongize that name...this is very very bad."

Jerek sighed. "I remember that." I looked at him, then back at Dante. "I do too. We broke up a smaller cult base a while back, and they mentioned that the Watcher was also known by several differant names, on of them Mundas." I said.

Hunter looked over to Sieg and asked "What do we do now...we can't hide in this ally way forever. We need a new safe house." She then thought about someone...and she said "I think I may know someone who can help us!" She pulled a calling card out of her pocket and looked at for a moment and then said "Well this is convenient, she's close by as well!"
