Spike jumps when awakened by the noise and looks around, but then slowly walks his way around the group to search for breakfast.

The spikethumbs look at the threehorns with stunned looks or cocked eyebrows, while Littlefoot and his grandparents look at each other in confusion.

"Well what the matter never seen a threehorn having a little fun. I might as well since I am stuck as a kid for a time" Tops said with a small laugh.

"Yeah and thanks to Littlefoot doing that before with Mr Thicknose I saw this and daddy and I decided to scare you all and it worked better then we thought it would even scaring Spike" Cera laughed a bit more both standing up on their four feet.

"I know you to be tricky but this beats them all Topsy" Zila said shaking his head.

"Father if you see it in his eyes it would be funny to you" Turio said to his dad

"Your right son it was a bit of harmless fun" Zila laughed a little bit a bit quietly to himself.

Spikefoot later smiled at the sudden "wake-up" call, while Odon merely rolls his eyes and shakes his head. Guan and Littlefoot quietly chuckle before everyone starts getting ready for the travels ahead.

Zila looked at the direction "We go this way. Right to the Peaks to the rushing waters of the River once there we travel up the river against the way it moving." Zila said to them

Odon, Spikefoot, Grandma, and Grandpa nod and get into their positions while the spikethumb children, Littlefoot, and Spike return to the center, ready to travel.

The others give a nod as well and they start to move off to head at the fast flowing river that was a bit away from the Peaks. Zila was glad that his grandparents story was true llike most but also hopes not to run into the Long mouth Sharptooth.

As the group moves closer to the river, Odon feels a chill of uneasiness, unsure of what and why, but he knows it means extreme caution.

Spikefoot notices the look on Odon's face and also feels uneasy. He gestures Guan closer to the smaller children and looks to Zila. "Is there something at the river we should be careful about?" he asks.

"Well my grandparents told me about that near the river below where we come there is a lone long mouth sharptooth that no one should face with a large sail on it back it bigger then a normal sharptooth..." Zila said looking at Spikefoot "We should move double time up river no rest no stopping before it can smell us..." Zila said to them sharp and quick.

"Then we'll have to quicken our pace and keep our eyes very sharp," Odon agreed.

Spikefoot urges his kids to speed up some. Even Grandpa and Grandma started moving a little faster, making sure Littlefoot remains safe in the group of little dinosaurs.

Then Zila saw on the other side of the river what he feared "It watching us... from the other side of the river... right there, the river too deep and fast so it can't cross but it..."

Turio freaked out seeing it "Father it the chaser! the one that followed us from long time!! it was killed you knock lots of big rocks on it!" Turio said with fear.

Tops saw it "That thing is creepy... even for me... not that I am a kid still" Tops said backing away with Cera taking cover behind Grandpa Longneck.

"The mark on its eye I did with the rock slide but I was sure it was dead..." Zila said backing away from the river.

the long mouth sharptooth took a step to the river but looked down to see the deep side of it and the speed and roared at them with annoyance that they couldn't be reached.

Donna and Goanna take cover behind their father and uncle, while Guan stares at the creature.

"We have never seen a creature like that before at the Sky Blue Lake," Spikefoot said. "And it is best we should avoid any more encounters with it."

"It can't reach us through the river," Odon added, "but we have to get through here as quick as possible."

"It is bigger than any sharptooth we seen before," said Grandpa after a while.

"How easy can we defeat it if it ever attacks?" Guan asks Zila.

"That chaser is smarter then you think it is... it can talk and does alot of it while chasing it prey... Chaser as we call him did it with us plenty of times... I tricked him by getting him to chase me in a tight spot but that won't work and..." Zila gets cut off from a deep voice from the other side from the sharptooth himself.

"I remember it well Swimmer. your the only leaf eater to make a fool out of me and escape but when I find a way to cross this river I will make a meal out of all of you and I will figure it out since I am not like any sharptooth I think to solve my problems against prey and I remember good. I will be back shortly" Chaser spoke to them with his dark green eyes fixed on them then walks into the forest with loud thuds as they faded in distance.

"It spoke!" Ducky's mum gasped "the sharptooth talked... but they don't have the..."

"Well this one does and he don't like me at all" Zila said to her

"Wonder why" Tops muttered but still staying with Cera behind Grandpa's front leg with Littlefoot.

Guan's jaw drops at the sound of the sharptooth's voice when it talked. Littlefoot was a little less surprised since he knows Chomper can speak as well, but he prefers not to explain it to any of the adults.

"Let's get moving," Spikefoot said finally. "The farther away we leave this place before he comes back, the better."

"I agree," added Odon. "Maybe we should have the children ride on our backs if it can make us go faster."

Guan looks back at Zila for a response.

"We should move knowing that sharptooth Chaser... he'll be back with a way to cross. get the children on own backs and move fast as we back up the river to the Great Lake once we find the entrance we will be safe. the vines from the story I was told about make sharpteeth sneeze something in the leafs don't that sharpteeth smell we can not" Zila said to them

The adults nod in agreement to the plan. Donna, with help from Guan and Odon, was lifted onto the back of her father, since she's still small enough to be carried. Guan helps lift Littlefoot and Spike onto Grandpa's back, looking back to see if any other children need a ride. Goanna has proven too big to ride on anyone, so she and Guan has to run alongside the adults.

"Erm longneck would you be able to carry us too?" Tops asked with a hint of not liking the idea of being unable to help out in any protection because of the size annd what he was till the 3 nights of the blue moon.

Guan helps Cera and Tops onto Grandpa's back next to Littlefoot and Spike, then offers a ride to Ducky, Petrie, and Turio, the last ones, on his back.

Odon and Spikefoot watch off in the distance where the sharptooth had gone, with Goanna close by and Donna riding on her father.

They move up the river soon after a while walk coming to a large wall where the river goes around it and water from holes in the wall flowing into the river. "We here. just need to find the entrance look for something that looks like with leafs going down a wall behind it is a passage up to the lake. I think it left from this river" Zila said walking left looking for the entrance.
