"It is, it's hidden where no one but certain ones of the clan know where it is." Brooklyn said. "We certainly don't want Demona or Xanathos getting their hands on it."

Spyro had lain down in a corner of the room. Cynder sat a short distance away, waiting for Spyro to say something. She wondered what Sparx had said to annoy Spyro so much when he’d always ignored the dragonfly’s prior comments.

"Hmm," The Tourist said thinking for a moment, "maybe you can plant a fake book that looks like the original but if someone tries to cast a spell from it it'll make their skin bright pink, give them a very high pitched voice for a while ro something like that." The Tourist said.

"I bet Owen would like that, when he's in his Puck form." Brooklyn said smiling at the thought.

"Reminds me of a wizard I heard about. I heard he would make stuff like rings of invisibility, but only the ring would turn invisible, not the wearer, Longbows that gave you exquisite dancing skill while you are holding the bow & make you dance, lock picks that make you a great opera singer while they are held & make you sing also, an easy chair of super flight, a cheese & chocolate golems, and stuff like that." Odysseus said.

"Sounds like something Puck may have done before." Brooklyn said.

Sparx sighed and slid down the wall, sitting on the floor. Dixie wasn't actively threatening him anymore, so he decided to enjoy the period of silence. He had a feeling that as soon as Dixie had won this round, he would be in big trouble.

"I'm sorry for having ignored all those things Sparx always said about you," spyro finally spoke up. "I should have chewed him out long before this."

"It's okay," Cynder said. "Sparx is kind of easier to ignore than most people because he's just an idiot looking for a laugh. But your sticking up for me is still appreciated."

Spyro smiled a bit.

Taiga grabbed himself a piece of mutton. His glass of wine sat half-full in front of him. “What’s taking them so long to close off that tunnel? They’re going to miss this feast.”

“We’ll save some for the rest,” Nago said though he too wondered why the rest hadn’t returned yet.

Dixie smiled to herself. Her point had been made and her threat recieved. "Do you have a girlfriend Sparx, or are you just not that into the ladies?' She asked.

Brooklyn shrugged, "I'm not sure who is parents are. He use to be the personal servant of Oberon, but he was recently banished to the mortal world, only able to resume his true form when teaching Alex magic, or defending him, otherwise he's stuck in his human form." Brooklyn said.

Brooklyn nodded, "I think it was at least in part because he helped to defend Alex from him when Oberon wanted to take him since he, Alex that is, is, I guess you'd say a quarterling since Titania is his maternal grandmother." Brooklyn said. Oberon & Titania finally agree to let him stay with his parents and to let Puck teach him magic, when Fox, his mother, blasted him with a magic bolt & Goliath said that was proof he could be taught magic." Brooklyn said.

Sparx was silent for a moment, trying to decide whether he should follow Stripetail's advice of trying to appease Dixe, or to just give up and accept his fate in which case he would try and get Dixie to lose this round of the contest.

"We feed off human life energy though rather than blood and we use that life energy to disguise ourselves as humans and blend in amongst them. Our fangire forms have markings resembling stained glass and resemble an animal of one of four different classes. Reptile, aqua, insect, or beast."
