He had almost forgotten about the two week long punishment that Dixie and Cynder had handed to him and Shaggy.

(OOC - Zanasiu, Strut, Deimos, Zachary, Rime, Mr. Bigmouth and Nick are the only ones with guns and Deimos has 2. Where did Shaggy get his gun? Unless he took Nick's.)

Dr. Zanasiu crammed as many shotgun shells in his pockets as he could carry.

Strut filled his shell pouch with the remaining shotgun shells.

Mr. Bigmouth, Deimos, Zachary and Rime took several magazines for each of their weapons.

Deimos readjusted his helmet. "Nick! You have your weapon?"

Dr. Kerzach brandished his switchblade. "I'll fight at close quarters with the rest of the group."

"We're ready." Deimos said to Stripetail.

Wataru glanced over at the switchblade, the expression beneath his face was one of doubt. He didn't think an anthromorphic cassowary armed with a knife would be any match for the shurlups. He made a mental note to keep an eye on the doctor.

(OOC - Dr. Kerzach is not Human. He's an anthro Cassowary <see here: Cassowary> and he has claws on his feet.)
(OOC - Deimos has a pistol and a rifle but he didn't give up either of them. And I'm assuming Nick took his gun and armor.)

"Hmm. Let's see what my switchblade and claws can do." Dr. Kerzach said.

"Um, you sure it's a good idea to have Dr. Kerzach armed only with a knife and his feet?" Deimos asked.

"He has a ferocious kick and I do know of a case where he was attacked in Las Vegas and he literally gutted his attacker with one kick. And he is pretty good with a knife too. Can't shoot worth jack though." Rime said.

"Let's hope he can gut Shurlups."

Shaggy picked up a large pipe that lay on the opile on debris. "This pipe will be banging on some skulls soon." Shaggy said. He gripped the metal tightly. "I'll stick by Scooby and Dixie.."

Ducky and Petrie did the morph sequence and morphed into their Great Valley Guardian forms.

"We've done similar things to this before, we have." Ducky said.

"But them bad guys always a bit goofy." Petrie said.

Ducky thought for a moment, "They usually are, or seem to over act, I've always sorta wondered why." Ducky said with some curiosity in her voice. "Like that one who called himself Dastardly Dan the sharptooth."

"Me still wonder who 6th beyond ranger be." Petrie said.

"I think it's Doc." Ducky said.

"Lets head out" Stripetail said, and the gang began to move from the kitchen. the smekll of Shurlup reached thier nostrils quicker than the last time they had attacked the Shurlups, but that time they had been small in number. this time, there were many more attackers, and they were not leaving until they had cut the Shurlup threat considerably..

Man the smell is HORRIBLE! Shaggy spuuttered as they approached the dining room.

Dr. Zanasiu wrinkled his nose. "Ugh! These things smell worse than anything back at Pelvanida!"

"Let's kill them and get back to what we were doing before." Rime said.

"You mean sleeping with each other?" Deimos added.

"Shut up!"

"Guys, forget about this and lets help clean out the Shurlups." Strut replied.

"Okay, remember, all ranged attackers should stay back and shoot any Shurlup on sight. Don't stop shooting until the Shurlup stops moving and be careful of missed shots or deflections. And Zanasiu, Strut be extremely careful with your weapons." Zachary said.

"Okay we got it."

The group then took up defensive positions near the entrance to the dining room.

"Nick, you have your armor and gun right?" Strut asked.

Dr. Kerzach stood near Wataru.

"Ready when you are." Deimos said to Stripetail.

'Yeah I got it on" Nick said, holding the gun tightly. Open fire when youi see them, and don't stop, until you run out. that will give the rest of us time to cast spells and whatnot..'

Just as soon as Nick spoke; a Shurlup popped up from a floorboard.

"Open fire!" Deimos shouted.

Strut and Dr. Zanasiu aimed their weapons at the Shurlup and started firing. After about five shots combined the Shurlup fell to the ground.

Suddenly, more Shurlups erupted from the floorboards.

Deimos, Dr. Zanasiu, Strut, Rime and Zachary unloaded their weapons at the Shurlups.

As Dr. Zanasiu was reloading, a Shurlup jumped on him but the claws were unable to penetrate the armor he was wearing.

Dr. Kerzach stabbed the offending Shurlup until it stopped moving.

Strut took aim at a female Shurlup and killed it with 3 quick shots. "Take the females out!"

Douglas launched himself into the air, not needing wings to fly, breathing fire at a nearby shlurp, keeping a watch on what some others were doing as best as he could.

Petrie let out some lighting from his fingers at one close to where he and Ducky where while Ducky had some ice wind blow on the same one for a moment as well.

Nago moved towards the front of the group, the gold visor on his helmet folding open and revealing the two red lenses beneath, a barrage of fire errupted from the visor, leaving the shurlups in front of them with severe burns. He then raised the IXAcalibur and took a shot at one of the shorter shurlups. The hightech ammo pierced the creature's chest and it dropped.

Spyro and Cynder joined Douglas in the air, raining down ice and poison on the shurlups further back, the ones that Nago's blast of heat had missed.

The shurlups quickly recovered from the burns and charged at the group. Nago pushed up on the bottom of the IXAcalibur's handle, popping up the sword blade and swung for the nearst shurlup.

Wataru leapt forward and slammed a kick into one of the creatures. He then grabbed a purple fuestle from his belt and gave it to Kivat. The fuestle's tune resembled the blowing of a foghorn. "Dogga hammer!"

The orb containing the hammer smashed through a window and flew to Wataru, who took the weapon in both hands, chains covering both of his arms, before shattering and revealing new, bulkier purple armor. Bulkier purple armor replaced his chest armor as well. He lumbered toward the nearst group of shurlups, dragging the hammer behind him.

Stripetail blasted a nearby Shurlup with his staff, semnding it backwards and killing it in seconds..
_ Nick took caredful aim and shot an oncoming Shurlup through the throat.
_ Jummba stunned some nearby Shurlups with his blaster. "This is almost fun. Haven't had to use blaster like this since the 13 Planet War." he laughed as he blasted another.
- Ali hit a frozen Shurlup hard with her tail. The impaxct broke the ice and the Shurlup flew backwards, splitting in half as it hit the wall. Ali shuddered at the gruesome sight.
