Shaggy was Knocked down, then clubbed his attacker over the head with the pipe. "I sure hope you're not a female" as he said this the Shurlup stratched at it. It missed his skin by inches, bore ripped a big hole in his shirt, and to his horror, he saw his shirt start to melt away, this one was clearly a female.

A female Shurlup slashed at Dr. Kerzach who pivoted and slammed his knife through its throat killing it.

Dr. Zanasiu shot one of the stunned Shurlups in the head.

"Jumba! Can you set that thing to be lethal or not?" Rime asked. He shot another Shurlup and dodged a leaping Shurlup that was soon stabbed to death by Dr. Kerzach.

Zachary was reloading his rifle when he was surprised by a Shurlup. He used the butt of his rifle to club the Shurlup, dropping it to the ground.

Dr. Kerzach quickly ran up to the dazed Shurlup and kicked hard in the stomach. He then slashed his foot down, tearing open the Shurlup. He finished the wounded Shurlup by stabbing it through the throat.

"Brutal but effective!" Deimos said, shooting the Shurlup attacking Shaggy.

"Hey! Do we have any grenades?" Rime asked.

"Too many friendlies!"

Deimos reloaded his rifle but a Shurlup attacked him before he was finished. He kicked the Shurlup, sending skidding back several feet. It lunged at Dr. Zanasiu who shot it at near point blank range.

Deimos finished reloading and continued shooting. "It's too bad we don't have magic."

Zachary had finished reloading his rifle and shot a rushing Shurlup, slowing it down. He then put several more bullets into it.

"Dixie laughed a little inside her helmet. "Rice? Are you trying to send me a message Scooby?' She laughed harder..which embarrassed Scooby still further. Rice was commonly used at weddings...

Deimos looked at the ground near Scooby and noticed many grains of rice of the ground. He chuckled. "Hey can you that rice as a weapon?" Deimos then pivoted out of the way of a leaping female Shurlup and shot twice in the back of the head, killing it.

"The Federation does not believe in using lethal force" Jummba replied. "Yes it does have a "kill' setting, but I was forbidden to use that setting when I was given it, as part of my parole." He stunned another shurlup, all told they had killed more than thirty Shurlups..

"Well, are they going to know now?" Dr. Zanasiu countered. "Pelvanida base prohibits scientists from carrying weaponry but yet I know many of my coworkers carry pistols around the facility. Chances are if someone is wearing lab coat, there's a pistol underneath. Hell, I know a few scientists who keep shotguns and rifles in their closets." He then shot at a Shurlup but missed, blowing a hole in the floor. He reaimed and blew a hole in the Shurlup.

Zachary shot the stunned Shurlup and killed it. "We all have different fighting styles."

Deimos said nothing but continued shooting at any Shurlup who threatened any of his allies.

Shaggy groaned at his shirt, which was now little more than a rag. The poison had eaten through the shirt, acting like a potent acid. He went over behind Stripetail. "You don't suppose you can fix my shirt?' He queried of the squirell. "Magic will not fix your shirt, niot in its condition. You can either throw it away, and get a new one, or you can try and sew the hole up.." Came the reply. "Just be thankful that she didn't stratch your skin, otherwise the poison would be coursing through you now, and your life expencancy would be measured in hours withour treatment." Shaggy turned white. :it...would have killed me?"

Dr. Zanasiu looked at Shaggy's shirt or what was left of it. "Thankfully, these lab coats are completely acid proof and impervious to most poisons. And that they are essentially slash proof. And the armor helps too."

"Yeah." Dr. Kerzach added. A female Shurlup slashed his labcoat but its claws were unable to penetrate the tough fabric. He kicked the Shurlup, punching a hole in it and finished it off by stabbing through the head.

A claw slammed into Wataru's heavily armored chest, but didn't do much more then make him grunt. He shoved his free hand at the shurlup and sent it flying back with ease. He then hefted the massive hammer and swung it at the advancing line of shurlup, knocking them into the air like so many bowling pins.

Nago relied upon his agility to duck and dodge around the shurlups, slashing at them with his sword. A female slashed him across the chest and the venom ate a few inches into the armor, but didn't do much more. Nago disconnected the knuckle from the belt and launched a ball of force from it at the female, sending her flying through the air.

A green ball of earth enveloped Spyro and he dropped from the ceiling into a group of shurlup, crushing the female in the center of the group. He quickly winged his way back towards the ceiling. Numerous claws reached for him, but they were too slow.

Cynder dropped down in front of Shaggy and Stripetail and spun about on the spot, a massive tornado appearing around her and blowing back several shurlups. "I think a ruined shirt should be the least of your worries at the moment."

Save it shaggy, You're not getting off on your two weeks of punishment. ' Dixie replied, slicing a shurlup in two with her blade. "Just stick behind Stripetail.. Thats about the safest place you can be.."

Dr. Zanasiu reloaded and shot some holes in an advancing female Shurlup.

Strut dodged a female Shurlup as it leapt for him. He pivoted and blew its head off with a well aimed shot.

Deimos kicked a Shurlup, then shot it several times. A female Shurlup slashed at him but the venom just beaded on his armor. He used a piece of wood to flick the venom off. He then hurled the poisoned wood at the female.

Dr. Kerzach stood by Wataru. He stabbed a nearby Shurlup through the head. A female Shurlup leapt at him and pinned him to the ground. He buried his knife to the hilt into the Shurlup and pulled upwards, gutting the creature. He pushed the dead Shurlup off of him. Another Shurlup, this one male, slammed into him and knocked the knife from his grasp. "Someone kill this thing and get my knife!" he shouted.

Nick took careful aim, and shot the Shurlup in the chest. He ran over and picked up the swtitchblade then sliced at a charging Shurlup with it. They were now finally into the Dining room, and Nick could see, through the infrequent flashes of light from Stripetail's spells, the forms of dozens upon dozens of Shurlups..

Cynder mumbled in agreement with Dixie and then spat a cloud of darkness at the nearst shurlup. Spyro was hovering near Ali and freezing any shurlup that happened to get near her.

Wataru had meanwhile been surrounded by the shurlups and they were darting in at him in turn. While in his armored dogga form, he was too slow to turn and counter them and they dodged his blows with ease. He growled in frustration.

Nago was having slightly better luck with his opponents who had also tried surrounding him, but he had simply leapt over their heads and back to the group of gunners. He pushed the sword's balde back in, returning the weapon to gun mode and firing at one of the shurlups around Wataru. The shurlup screeched in pain and was then slammed into the wall by the dooga hammer.

The shurlups leapt at Wataru, burying him under a pile of snarling fur.

"Wataru!" Nago exclaimed, firing at one of the shurlups on the pile, before another slashed him and he was forced to switch the calibur back into sword mode to defend himself.

"Hey, Nick! I need my knife back!" Dr. Kerzach said. He kicked a male Shurlup and slashed his foot down, cutting it open. He then finished it off with a few more kicks.

"It's dark in here." Zachary said.

"No problem!" Strut replied. He switched on a flashrlight attached to his shotgun.

Rime, Deimos and Dr. Zanasiu all switched on their weapon lights.

"Wow. We've got quite a battle ahead." Deimos said. He took aim at a female Shurlup and shot it several times. He reloaded his weapon.

"Yeah, what do we do if we run out of ammo?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

"Fight with whatever you can get."

"Hey Nick! Need ammo?" Rime asked.

"When this is over, remind me to buy more ammo." Strut replied.

Deimos looked at Wataru or what was visible of him.

"We've got an ally buried under the Shurlups!" Deimos shouted.

At his command, all the gunners aimed at the pile of Shurlups and opened fire. Bullets and shot tore into the bodies of Shurlups, killing many of them.

Dr. Zanasiu paused to reload his weapon.

The sound of a fuestle issued from beneath the pile of shurlups and a small golden dragon flew through the same window the dogga hammer had come through.

"Hello!" the dragon greeted in a high childish voice before worming its way in between the pile of shurlup bodies. Yellow light shone out from the pile and then the shurlups were sent flying away. The light issued from Wataru who stood up. With a pulse of energy, the glow vanished, revealing the new golden armor that covered Wataru nearly from head to toe. The lenses of his hlemet had turned red and a crescent moon rested above them. A red cape also sprouted from his back. His chest had stayed red, but changed shape, now having three green eyes on it.

Wataru stepped towards the shurlups, arms held at his sides in a princely manner. Nago joined his side and the two stepped into the dininy room.

Nago removed the mouthpiece from his helmet, flipping it open and pressing three buttons on it. "Rising!" the phone droned, before Nago hit a thrid button and the armor on his chest ejected, the coloration of his suit changing to white and blue, while the gold crest on his head changed configuration.

STRipetail closed his fist, and started throwing different colored fireballs at the shurlups. Blue green , yellow, red, orange, a multitude of color. the fireballs were a special variety, they were not easy to put out and the burning Shurlup could easily burn any other Shurlup near him/her. The cries of the burning Shurlup were deafening..

Nick tossed the bklade back to Kerzach. "Here". He turned to the others. "I've got about twenty bullets left. When I run out, I'll gran some more.."

"Be careful," Nago said to Nick, inserting a blue fuestle into the phone and twisting down a handle, forming the phone into a small gun. He pointed the weapon at a shurlup female and blasted it. "There could be more shurlups throughout the building."

Sparx grumled as he and Bart tended to the shurlup pups. He had done as Bart suggested, pulling off the caps. He then watched them to make sure they wouldn't spill any of the milk.

"More!?" Deimos grumbled. "We'll need more ammo then!"

"Worry about that later!" Rime shouted. He shot a burning Shurlup female.

Dr. Kerzach caught the blade and flicked it open. He dodged the leap of a Shurlup female and stabbed it to death.

Zachary looked at the burning Shurlups. "Hey anybody got some gasoline or alcohol and some bottles? Because I'm going to try and see if I can use some Molotov Cocktails against these things."

"Nick may not like that." Dr. Zanasiu replied. "Shaggy! Are you guys okay?" He then blasted a Shurlup male who was trying to approach Nick.

The Shurlups drank greedily, they were hungry, and the milk was exactly what the doctor ordered.
