Nago pressed the knuckle into the palm of his hand. The device beeped. "Ready."

"IXA bursting," Nago said as he connected the knuckle to the belt.

"Fist on," the belt droned projecting the yellow hologram of armor which slid onto Nago. The golden visor on his helmet slid open, revealing the red lenses beneath and briefly enveloping Nago in a cloud of flames. "Very well then."

The cashier looked at a chart. "Hmm. That'll get you about 7 shots with a 12-gauge Remington 870 pump shotgun or about 15 shots for a M1911 .45 caliber pistol. Or you could take 20 shots with a .22 caliber semi-auto. Instruction on your weapon comes free with the target shooting." he said looking at Nani.

He then turned to Jumba. "I can't give you the exact number but I will say that our greatest purchaser of weapons and ammo is in fact Pelvanida employees. You'd be surprised how many lab coats I see here."

"Not quite." The cashier replied. He then turned to Nani. "If you are new to firearms, I'd suggest you go with the .22 caliber rifle."

The sound of gunfire periodically rang out.

Thats what I was leaning towards anyway.." Nani nodded.. handing over the twenty.. She picked up the small gun from the counter. and felt it with her hands.. "Its an odd feeling really.."

"Okay, there's door labeled shooting range to the right of the entrance. Go inside, show this ticket to the man inside and he'll give you instructions and ammo." the cashier said, handing a blue ticket to Nani.

Strut was pushing a hand cart through the aisles of ammunition. He looked at the list. "Hmm. 7.62 X 39 mm. That's the ammo that Rime, Mr. Bigmouth, Zachary, and Nick use. I guess I'll take the hollow points. Greater stopping power and less likely to overpenetrate."

He walked over to the stack of ammo cans with a large sign that read "7.62 X 39 mm. Hollow point." He then picked up a can of 1000 rounds in each hand and placed them on the cart. He picked up another 2 cans and also placed them on the cart. He then pushed the cart over to the shotgun ammo section.

He browsed the aisles. "Hmm. Flechettes aren't the best choice." he said looking at a 12 pack of flechette ammo.

He then pushed the cart back until he reached the bulk shotgun ammo. He was stopped by a sign that read "bulk 12 gauge 00 buckshot"

He looked at his list. "12 gauge, Strut and Dr. Zanasiu. Yep. This is it." He hoisted two cans of 250 shells each onto the cart.

A can of 12 gauge shotgun slugs caught his eye. "Hmm. The slugs will prove useful someday." He hoisted 1 can of 250 shells into his cart and proceeded towards the checkout.

Nani toook the ticket, and followed the cashier's instructions. She went though the door to the left, and showed the ticket to the man. He raised a hand as Scooby, Dixie, and the others tried to enter."Hey.. sorry guys but you have to have a ticket to get in her. jUst sit there in the viewing area, and you guys can watch her practice. Its double-panbe glass, so you won't be affected as much by the noise. He said , pointing with one hand at a nearby door.
_ Scooby , a little chastened, led the group into the sound chamber. There were seats there, and there was a good view of the gallery.

"Okay Ms. I'll go over some basic firearms safety before you get the ammo. Oh and here's some hearing and eye protection." the range officer said, handing Nani a packet of foam earplugs and some shooting glasses.

Nani worked the earplugs into her ears, and put the glasses on. THey felt a little awkward, Nani was not used to wearing glasses, as she had good eyesight. "I'm readhy, So what are rules I have to follow?' She asked.

"First and foremost is keep your finger off the trigger and the safety on unless you are ready to shoot. Do not point the muzzle at anything you do not intend to shoot. Know what is beyond your target. Finally, when you are handed a weapon, check to see that it is unloaded, remove the magazine, and manually work the action to eject any rounds. Do not trust the word of anyone." the range officer said.

'Alright" Nani said.. She opened the magazine, and slowly, put the bullets in one by one. She unhooked the safety, and cocked back the hsmmer, and pointed the gun at the targett. She took aim, and fired. the bullet whizzed through the air, hitting the target just a little below the bullseye to the left. She fired again, this timer she missed high to the right..

The sound of two motorcycles pulling up to the cafe reached their ears. Soon Wataru entered the room, followed by Taiga, who scanned the room's occupents with a neutral expression.

Douglas shrugged, "The rest of you guys know him?" He asked the others in the room.

Ducky and Petrie looked at the Sundae, "it looks interesting," Ducky said, "It does, it does, you sure there is enough for all of us?"

"Hmm, me no sure." Petrie said, not sure, but if Ducky was going to try it then he may as well.

Snoopy nodded, He'd like to as well, as long as there was enough for everyone who wanted some.
