_ Suddenly Stitch appeared behind Strut 'Mesa Help you" The blue alein said. He was still wearing his armor. "Mesa hold up shu- sur.." He didn;t nknow how to say Shurlups "Monsters" he said finally "And you knock them down.

Hey! Stitch! You're not supposed to help him!" Dixie complain.

Angel can't help becvause she has busted arm. and it not fair to have two against one' Stith replied.

"What the...?" Strut blurted out as Stitch appeared. "Now I have to nail the Shurlups without hitting Stitch. No matter." Strut took a deep breath and coolly aimed and shot 6 Shurlups. He then took 6 seconds to reload, took aim and killed 3 more.

"Not mention he's got a fireball shooting gun," Spyro called over, biting a shurlup on the arm.

"Should we do something about him?" Nago asked, pointing at the blue alien and glancing over at his fellow judges. "After all it is almost the end of the contest and Strut refused Deimos' help anyway."

Nick shrugged. he had no idea what to do about this.
_ Stitch meanwhile held up a Shurlup above his head "Mesa holding target" He said, smiling. He was trying to help strut by holding the Shurlups up, so He could kill them more easily.

Cynder glanced over at the shurlup Stitch was holding. She hesitated for a second, wondering if her idea would be fair, but then shrugged it off. She opened her mouth and spat a red ball of fear magic at the shurlup, blasting it out of Stitch's hands.

"Sorry, Strut," Cynder chuckled. "Too slow."

"I'll allow it, I suppose." Stripetail said. 'Stitch is making himself useful at any rate.."
The kill was the girl's 94th, they were now in 3rd place. Strut was approaching 100, the Boys had reached 110 with two kills by Scooby.

"This is not working out," Cynder said, glancing over at the scoreboard. She stood on her hindlegs and spun around, a tornado appearing around her and sucking in any nearby shurlups and also almost sucking in Stitch. The miniature storm moved over towards Dixie and stopped, dropping several dizzy shurlup to the floor which the girls quickly finished off.

"This is not good." Strut muttered to himself. He took aim at the nearest 3 Shurlups and shot them. He reloaded, taking 6 seconds and shot 4 more Shurlups.

"Go Strut!" Rime shouted.

The kills allowed the girls to reach 100, and briefly tie Strut for second. Dixie was thinking quickly, there were less than 4 minutes left. Stil the Shurlups kept coming, despitre the contestants having killed over 300 so far, there were still more. "Did the Shurlups bring thier entire extended families along?" Dixie wondered as she slashed and killed another Shurlup. "Dixie was getting very tired, her arms ached from swinging the sword so much.
the score was now Boys 112, Strut 107, Girld 101.

Strut shot 3 more Shurlups, reloaded and emptied his entire magazine into a mass of Shurlups, killing at least 6 or more. He reloaded and shot a lunging Shurlup.

"I hope I don't run out of ammo." Strut muttered.

'Three minutes left" Stripetail called out.. "We're in the home stretch everyone.."
Strut's volley had brought into the lead by 1. he lead 117-116.

Cynder dived into a cloud of shurlups and became a black cloud which the shurlups could do nothing to harm no matter how much they slashed or bit. Cynder could do plenty to harm them though as he made several shallow cuts in their hide, before exploding out of the cloud and sending shurlup flying everywhere.

Spyro meanwhile hit several shurlups with his Comet Dash attack.

Cynders dash killed 12. Spyro's Comet dash killed 6, bringing the Boys back into the lead. The Girls had now killed 113, they were 9 behind the boys and 4 behind Strut.
_ Stitch grabbed an onrushing shurlup. "Hit it!' He called out, raising the surprised creature above his head.

Strut wasted no time in shooting the shocked Shurlup. He coolly took aim and shot 4 more Shurlups and reloaded.

Strut was now tied with Scooby and Spyro at 122 , with just over 2 minutes left. while he wasn't competing with them over the side-bet, it would be nice to beat both teams.. Dixie suddenly had an idea. "Cynder, I'm going to use my ring to bring back your fury... We're down by about 10, and we've only got 2 minutes left.."

"Good idea!" Cynder exclaimed, leaping over a shurlup to stand in front of Dixie.

Spyro allowed a group of shurlups to surround him and then a blast of electricity shot from him, shocking the shurlups and paralyzing them while the electricity slowly wounded them.

'Energize' Dixie commanded and a beam of light went out of her ring and into Cynder. Dixie put a paw on her back to steady herself, she was tired, and this effort could cause her to faint from exhaustion.

While Spyro spun the Shurlups around, Scooby hacked at them, making sure to kill them. 123, 124, 125..."Rwo rinutes reft, Ryro, Rets rin rhis, rand ro rup 2-0!"

Purple light exploded out from Cynder as she used her fury for the third time that day. The wave of light caught Spyro's attention and he glanced over at her. "How did she do that?"

A few shurlups paused and eyed Cynder cautiously. The dragoness growled at them and released her fury breath, sending them flying back.

Cynders blast killed 7, bringing them them to 120. There was now 1:35 left..
_ Dixie knew that both she and Cynder would be completely exhausted after this, but for now she had to keep her ring steady.

Stitch held up another unlucky Shurlup as a target. Scooby thre his blade and impaled it. this was the 130th kill for the boys, they were 4 aghead of Strut, and another burst from Cynder brought the girls to 125.

Strut shot any Shurlup that survived the attacks by the girls.

He took aim at a mass of Shurlups and unloaded his magazine into them, striking several.

He paused for a few seconds to reload. A Shurlup caught him as he was reloading but he quickly beat it to death with the butt of his shotgun. He finished reloading and shot an onrushing Shurlup.
