Alright then, leave them on and use them whenever necessary.. I'll be with you guys, and just to state the obvious, don't get lost down there.. its going to be dark, smelly slimy, and you don't want to walk into a horde of Shurlups unawares." Nick said.

Rime, Zachary and Dr. Zanasiu all turned on their weapon lights and their radios.

"Hey Nick, your gun have any form of lighting?" Strut asked. He then turned on his radio. "If not, stay with the Pelvanida group, their weapons all have flashlights mounted at the muzzle.

"Good luck." Deimos said. He then snapped a quick salute.

Dr. Kerzach, Rime, Zachary and Dr. Zanasiu saluted Deimos back.

"Hey Shaggy? You interested in helping us up here?" Strut asked.

"Shaggy! Do you have a weapon of any sort?" Deimos asked. "We don't have any spare guns but take a knife from the kitchen."

Shaggy loooked inside his pockets. "I've got a swiss army knife' he said pulling it out, finally. 'I usually use it for trimming my goatee..it has scissors.." He explained..

Deimos facepalmed. "Wait, I have a combat knife somewhere in here." Deimos then pulled out a combat knife with a 7 inch long blade from a holster strapped to his right leg. He handed the knife and the holster to Shaggy. "Take this knife, it's designed for combat."

Shaggy strapped the holster to a loop in his pants, and slid the knife into it. 'Thanks, man, I hope I don't have to use this..

"Shaggy, you're going to have to defend yourself against those things>' Nick said. "We don't have Stripetail or Scooby or Dixie here to protect you, you'll just have to stick by me, ansd if we find some Shurlups have your knife at the ready."

Strut's radio crackled. "This is Rime. We are in the tunnels."

The Pelvanida group was at the entrance of the tunnel.

"Hey I see we got some reinforcements." Dr. Zanasiu said, looking at Shaggy.

"Okay, Nick are we all ready?" Dr. Kerzach asked. His switchblade gleamed in the weapon lights of Rime, Zachary and Dr. Zanasiu.

Nick cocked his gun, and Shaggy nervously drew his knife. "We're ready Kerzach. Lets go slow and steady.." He said squinting into the tunnel ahead. the tunnel was large as if made by several Shurlups working at once. "After all of them are dead. I'm moving the cafe to a new location.." Nick said. "It'll be expensive, but so will the cleanup.."

"Would you like some help with the costs, Nick?" Taiga asked, following the group into the tunnel.

Wataru also entered the tunnel. He glanced around the dark tunnel with interest. Both he and Taiga could see in the dark perfectly. He glanced over at Nago and asked. "Do you need a light?"

Nago shook his head. "No, the IXA suit has built-in night vision."

The Tourist finished with the sandwich he was eating and looked around at those in the room. "I take it some of you are not from the neighborhood?" He asked while looking at some of the dinos present.

Dixie crawled under the covers. This bed was much softer than the one in Chongs bed, ithe matress appeared to be made out of some kind of foam. "This feels MUCh better." She said, snuggling in. Cynder if you want to sleep at the fot of the bed you can, or you can sleep on the floor makes no difference to me.."

Stripetail gestured and two glasses of water appeared on the bedside nightstand. "have a good nap girls. I'll be back up in a hour to bring you down for the third challenge.. Nice job on the tie.. you gurls needed it.."

Cynder shrugged, an action that involved both her shoulders and her wings. She leapt onto the bed and curled up next to Dixie.

"Not to mention attracting all sorts of strange customers," Kivat said.

Dr. Zanasiu motioned for his party to follow him into a cave. The light illuminated a female Shurlup about 30 feet away. The Shurlup lunged at him only to to receive a shotgun blast to the torso at close range. The fatally injured Shurlup slashed Dr. Zanasiu with venom tipped claws but the lab coat easily shrugged off the slash and the venom merely dripped onto the ground.

The Shurlup tried to slash Dr. Zanasiu again but the gaping wound in its chest proved too much and the Shurlup collapsed.

"Hey Nick! We found some Shurlups in this cave!" Rime shouted. He illuminated another Shurlup and shot it several times in the chest, killing it.

Zachary took aim at a Shurlup and shot it in the head, immediately killing it.

Dr. Zanasiu said nothing as he blew off a female Shurlup's head.

Dixie patted Cynder on her head friendly, as Stripetail left the room and closed the door behind him. the sounds of his footsteps soon receded into the distance.

Thanks Cynder, you saved our butts in the challenge. Now we're defintely going the full 5. the 4th challenge is no necessary and we;re going to win that one..' Dixie saidd.
- Its always been odd that way" Nick replied. "its why its called the Insane Cafe. Things happen here that don't make any sense. I can't count the times I got hit in the face with pies that came out of nowhere.." He grinned..

None of the three riders bothered to enter the cave, not wanting to get shot in the back by their own allies. Nago however did raise his blasters and take several shots.

Man, thats not funny! I hate ghosts and monsters and creepy things abnd the Shurlups are way up on the things I don't like, and now I've been dragged along after them! Shaggy complained..
