Ali looked out the window, as the dragon stopped in flight. then her voice boomed thropughout the ship. "I will let you go for the time being. But If my child is not restored to me within the time granted, then all of you will pay dearly. Your friends, and family, everyone you know. And that is not an idle threat." With that the Mother Dragon, turned and flew in the opposite direction. Ali breathed in heavily, sweat dripping down her face.

" I recieved your message Wizzin. Good, you took me seriously. Now bring my child back to me..." "One question madam, who will care for the child.?' Stripetail asked mentally. "Tarrax" came the surprise reply. "Why Tarrax, madam? stripetail said, taken aback. "Because neither Dirah nor Minna is fit to care for it. Wayne, while worthy as a father, already has 8 other children to care for, a ninth would simply add another burden to the already heavy responsibility he carries. Tarrax by contrast, has only 2 children, this will be his third. But worry about the specifics later, you only have 50 minutes left."
The voice faded, and Stripetail looked at Picard and Wayne. "I made contact with her, and she has backed off, for now. Oh, and once I save the child, Tarrax will be charged with caring for her. Nothing against you Wayne, but you already have 8 other young children, and you also have the demands of the position of Dragon Lord to deal with. Tarrax has only two offspring, so he doesn't have the demands on his time that you do. I'm sure he'll share custody with you though,, like he has with Tarraxina. I've got to run. We'll iron out the details later" Stripetail vanished.
Stripetail took 5 minutes to teleport to Minna's home. "Minna" He said, upon reappearing. "Where did you terminate the pregnancy? "Dragon maternal on the other side of town. I'm sorry about this Stripetail' Minna sounded remorseful. "You should be." Stripetail snapped. "You pissed off the Mother Dragon, and If I don't restore the golden egg that you terminated in the next 45 minutes, she will kill you, as well as everyone I care for. EVERYONE. What did they do with the egg?"

Minna sighed and pulled out a bag. "I asked if I could take it home and bury it." "Like a pet " Stripetail said dismissively, as she pulled a golden egg from the bag."Give it to me" Minna handed over the egg. Stripetail could see the aborted eggling inside of a large hole which had been drilled inside the egg. "This is not going to be easy" Stripetail said , looking at It. I'm going to have to pull the child out of the egg, heal it, and then reform the egg around it." He looked around, looking for a clock, to tell him the time. "It's 7:25 pm" Minna offered. "So I have 35 minutes to heal this child. No problem. Good thing you asked to take it with you, you probably saved me a half-hour which i would have otherwise spent going to the hospial and back" Stripetail said, a faint smile appearing on his face. "Thank you Minna. You will not be caring for the child..." "No, I didn't think so. Not after I had it aborted" Minna nodded. "Now hurry, heal that child, and get me off the hook>" Stripetail nodded and teleported back to the castle. "I have the egg madam. I'm beginning the restoring process right away. He said mentally.
