Thanks guys! For the first time in a long time, I actually remembered my birthday! Or more specifically, my fiance did. Baked me a cake and took me out to dinner, which was a real treat.

I also recently got a new job: nude modeling for the university's art department! Pays good, and can't complain about the difficulty level, so things are looking up. Also picked up an internship which is gonna get me coeditor credit on an academic journal, so things are going to be busy these next few weeks, but worth it! Looking to the future!

House of Cards? Love that show! Kevin Spacey visits the bookstore I work at sometimes to buy some stuff to support the locals. He's in my area for the filming of the show, and it's great to see him every so often!
