Longtail smiled and said "Sure..I'll beat that! Watch this!" He ran forward and smacked the rock with his tail knocking over nine. "HA! Told you I'd get a higher score than you Dante!"

Longtail walked over and scratched nine marks into the rock and sat down to let the others play.

Littlefoot said, "Watch this!" and used his tail to roll the stone at the cones. Seven cones fell and one knocked an eith over.

"Well, not my best shot." Littlefoot said. He sat down with Kaga and Longtail as Snork stepped up for a try. Snork, being an adult, rolled the rock much harder than the Littlefoot or Longtail. He was sure it would knock them all down but was embarrassed when it hit a tree root and bounced right over the cones and rolled off into the woods.
"Way to go, Snork!" Strafe scoffed, though not in a mean way.
Snork sighed and said, "Hold on, guys. I'll go get it."
With that, he walked into the woods after the rock.

"At least everyone is having fun." Mim said, "Some would not believe so many different types could have fun together & get along." Mim said, thinking how some preferred to stay only ith their own kind.

"It's quite normal for the Great Valley." Cera said, "Those others who think otherwise are just stupid." She said.

"Or have not seen so many other types getting along." Mim said, to try to soften what Cera said.

"Whatever." Cera said.

Snork continued to search for the round stone. He picked his way through the dense brush searching for it.
Strafe walked up behind him and asked, "Having trouble?"
"Kinda" replied Snork as he dug through the bushes.
He finally saw the round stone under a root and grabbed it.
"Alright, let's get back to the others and finish the game." Strafe suggested.
She turned to head back to the others when she thought she saw something move in the bushes.
"What was that?" she asked Snork.
"What was what?" replied the swimmer.
"I thought I saw something over there." She answered.
Snork suggested, "Maybe it is Longtail trying to play a joke on us."
"Can't be." Strafe corrected him. "He is over there with Kaga."
"Let's just get back to the others." Snork said, feeling a bit creeped out now.

Kaga thought he heard something moving in the bushes as well. The rustling sound abruptly stopped when he looked in it's direction.
"Hmm. Weird." said the Iguanodon.
He looked toward the woods and was relieved to see Snork and Strafe returning with the stone.

Longtails head suddenly jumped up and he started sniffing the air. He looked around for a moment before saying..."Uhh...I don't want to alarm anyone here...but I smell something...I have no clue what it is...but I think we should be on our guard."

Mim looks in the direction that Longtail was sniffing. "I wonder who and what it could be." Mim looks at the other sharpteeth present, "Have any of you smelled anything like what Longtail smells?" She asked.

"Why not just make them come out." Cera said looking as if she was about to go over to the area in question.

"I recognize that scent. It's him... Virgil..."
His eyes narrowed to slits as he said this, and he looked towards where the scent was coming from, ready for anything...

Hunter and Longtail both stood up wide eyed and tensed as well, remembering what happened last time.

Longtail bared his teeth and asked "So, I get another chance to rip him apart....Perfect!"

Hunter just frowned and asked "How did he get here...did he follow us or what?"

Longtail and Hunter both continue to look around waiting for something to happen.

Longtail then asks "Mim, how fast can you go get help? Not that we'll need it, but it would be nice that if something should happen to one of us, we know help is on the way."

Hunter spoke next "He may have a trap set Dante, but that doesn't mean we're going to fall for it."

"I can run very fast if need be, but who should I go get if need be, or would you prefer just any of the large grown ups around here?" Mim asked.

"A trap, sounds like something a coward would do instead of attacking outright." Cera said.

"I wonder if it may be dangerous if someone could fly over the spot, but then he may be alerted to having been discovered. Or that may be part of the trap so perhaps is to much to risk." Mim said.

"Why not just ask Littlefoot's grandfather to stomp on his for a bit." Cera said.

"Great." Snork said sarcastically. "Him again."
Snork then replied to Cera's comment, "Well, from what I saw last time, all he did was call names. He only caught Longtail because he ambushed him like a coward."

Strafe said, "We were just over there. He could have attacked s then. Maybe he wants us all at once."

Snork asked, "I don't know how he plans to pull that off. Still, you kids better stay close to us. Dante, what do we do now?"

"Why not ambush him, see how he likes it." Cera said.

"I wonder if he is alone or if he has others with him, perhaps another type of ambush. Hidden around somewhere, perhaps where the wind will take their smell way so they can't be smelled or they may be using certain plants to hide their smell." Mim said.

Longtail smiled and said "Not a chance. If there were others with him, I'd smell em. No sharptooth can escape my sniffer! But I don't know where he is...he's moving around, so I can't tell where exactly he is. Dante? Think you can pin him down?"

Kaga knew something wasn't right. When Dante mentioned Virgil, Kaga knew this wasn't going to be good.
"Maybe I should go with you, Mim. It probably isn't safe to go out there alone."
