Hunter nodded her head and said aloud "I think Kaga is right Mim, he should go with you it may not be safe. While you may not be his main target Virgil will take every advantage he can get with us."

Longtail on the other hand was watching Dante with a ready to strike pose, and when he pointed out Virgil's current hiding spot Longtail bellowed "I WANT A REMATCH YOU COWARD!" He then jumped forward and into the bushes ready for anything that would attack him.

Hunter would've said something but she knew Longtail would rather charge in alone than wait for a trap to be sprung and hurt everyone. 'That flyer is so stupid sometimes, but he's brave...I'll give him that much!' she said to herself.

Mim nodded, "That may be best. Getting any one of us alone would be easier to deal with then if we stay together or at least in small groups & I'd be glad of the help." She said.

"He has the right idea. Wait for me." Cera said then charged in the same direction she had seen Longtail go. She wasn't one for waiting around for plans to be talked over especially since Littlefoot had not said anything so far. Let him and the others think while she acted. She preferred things this way anyway.

Hunter saw what Cera was planning to do..and she shouted "STOP! Longtail can fight his own battles...if he gets hurt, he won't be able to help you and himself. Just let him go."

"I can take care of myself." Cera said as she continued charging.

"She seems rather, impulsive & headstrong." Mim said.

Littlefoot looked around and asked, "Who is it? What's going on?"
"Trouble!" Strafe shouted as she looked around for any sign of Virgil.
Snork suggested, "Maybe you kids should go with Kaga and and Mim. Get back to your families where you'll be safe!"

Strafe said to Kaga, "I'll be fine. Take care of them."

Littlefoot yelled after Cera, "He's right. Let's go!"
He ran to catch up with kaga and Mim.

Dante sprinted alongside Longtail.
"I hope you weren't planning on leaving me behind. You were, weren't you?"
He asked, eyes set resolutely on where his brother was...

Longtail stopped running for a moment and said "I think I've got his scent, but I still can't find him! VIRGIL YOU LITTLE EGG! COME OUT AND FIGHT ME! I'll take you on by myself, and this time I WON'T lose!"

Hunter was torn between protecting the others while they went to get help and jumping into the bushes to aid Dante and Longtail, but in the end she turned and ran with Littlefoot and Mim along with the others to go get help.

She turned back for several seconds and whispered "good luck you two."

Mim ran along with the others running to get help. She thought of going faster, but thought it safer if they stayed together, even though they were not heading towards where Virgil was it was always best to be wary and staying with the group made more sense then running at her fastest.

Cera Slowed and came to a stop. "If 2 or 3 of you are going to be fighting this Virgil then it wouldn't be fair if I joined in too. Hardly fair. That's the only reason I'll go with the rest of you. If it was Longtail or Dante by himself then I'd not be going back." Cera said. To her it did seem unfair if she joined in a fight against 1 person if 2 or 3 others were already going to join in. So she decided, for now, to head with Mim and the others.

Longtail was standing next to Dante, as neither of them had dared to make a move. But then out of the corner of his eye, Longtail spotted a shadow moving, and just as he was turning to face it , another shadow moved, and then two more. Longtail swallowed hard and said "I think Virgil brought friends. Get ready for a fight Dante, this is going to get hard and fast!"

Hunter was keeping up well with the others and slowed only for a moment to make sure Cera was keeping up with them. "I really do hope those two are alright." she said aloud.

Cera made her way back to where Mim and the others were and continued with them. "So what sort of help shall we get?" She asked.

"I'm not sure, maybe find one of the large grown ups, preferably with experience fighting sharpteeth." Mim said.

Snork said to Strafe, "Maybe you should go with the others. I'll help Dante and Longtail."
"Not a chance! Kaga can protect them. I'm staying here!" replied the iguanodon.

She spotted movement nearby and said, "There's more of them!"

Snork didn't care how they got here anymore. They were threatening his friends.

Snork and Strafe joined Dante and Longtail and prepared to take on whatever came at them.

Meanwhile, Littlefoot ran with the others throuh the forest toward the herds.
"Don't worry!" he replied to Hunter's comment. "They have Snork and Strafe with them too."

Kaga continued after the others. The edge of the forest was now visible and Kaga knew they would be in the open soon. While it meant they would be visible to any enemies and would have nowhere to hide, the enemy would be visible as well.
"Come on guys!" he shouted. "Just a little farther!"
He would feel a lot safer once they were out of the trees.

As the others ran, a figure dropped in front of them, eyes narrowed.
"I'm sorry... My master sent me to keep you from getting help to prevent his revenge. I suggest you just stay quiet, and I won't have to kill you..."

Dante looked at the shadows around him, shutting his eyes for a moment.
"Three enemies, at least. Strong, I'd guess... Longtail...Do we use our...other selves?"

Longtail gave a light chuckle and replied to Dante "Where have you been, I called on my other half when I realized it was Virgil...I'm just waiting him out now." Then to make his point Longtial turned his head and showed Dante his yellow eye.

Hunter scowled and said "Just stay out of our way, we will be getting help, and I'll kill you to get to it!"

Mim looked at the fastbiter, "your neck won't be the first that I snapped." She said, going for the fastbiter. She thought maybe not a good move, but it may cause some confusing and maybe an element of surprise, hopefully helping the others.

"Yea, lets get'em." Cera said, also going for the same fastbiter as Mim did, thinking that 2 on one was ok odds.

(Ooc: I've no idea what sorts of powers folks have, I also assume these are fastbiters, sorry if I"m wrong.))

Snork looked around in the bushes and spotted dark shapes moving toward them.
"I see them! Here they come!" he shouted to the others and prepared to fight.
Strafe walked up beside him and said, "I am ready for them. Let them come."
She stood ready to attack when they got close enough.

Longtail was upset about having to wait this long about attacking Virgil, and truth be told, he wanted to get this fight over with so he could make sure the others were okay...He then called out "Okay if the mighty Virgil wants to be a girl about fighting me now that I know you're there..then fine, Good luck running away!"

Mim rolled instead of falling flat and came up, not as skilled as an expert in martial arts, but ok. Cera ran up behind Kireek and tried to hit him with her head in the same manner that she smashed rocks.

"You'll not do it by talking." Mim said, trying to keep his attention focused on her and allowing the others to do whatever ideas they had.
