Longtail was just close enough to hear Strafe call out to him and Dante. After hearing what she had to say Longtail sighed and landed next to his friends.
Longtail then said "Okay, I'll head back with you, but I don't think I'll be getting much sleep anytime tonight."

"I probably won't either. I'm still worried. What if Virgil knows where we are? I'll stay up to keep an eye out for him."
He said, nerves causing his voice to shake...

Kaga awoke the next morning and looked around. Everything seemed to be alright so kaga got up and ventured outside to find breakfast. A few treestars on a low branch nearby looked quite appealing and so kaga began his breakfast, waiting for the others to wake up.

As predicted Longtail after returning, got no sleep. He stood on a branch near the top of the tree watching the bright circle rise. He was holding a treestar in his claw but didn't bother to try and eat it. He just sat there and held it...as if waiting for something.

He then looked down and noticed Kaga looking around, so longtail smiled and said "Good morning Kaga...how are you?"

"Oh not much." Kaga replied, noticing that Longtail looked tired.
"Didn't you get any sleep?" asked the iguanodon. "You look exhausted."

After hearing Kaga's question Longtail sat down...suddenly too tired to keep standing.
But he smiled anyway as he replied "No...not really. Bad sleep story kept me up...but I've gone many bright circles without sleep...I'll be fine."
Longtail then looked down at his claw and asked "Want my treestar?"

Dante looked at Kaga from where he was perched in the tree, giving him a small smile. It was rather apparent that he hadn't slept at all from the look on his face, but he still seemed to be cheerful as he said...
"Ah. Good morning, Kaga! Good to see ya! And the same to you, Longtail!"
He grinned, then fell soundly out of the tree, landing on his rump...

Longtail gave a small smile, and started to laugh when he watched Dante land on his rear. But he quickly stopped as he realized that his mind was still too clouded to let his laughter flow. Longtail sighed and walked over asking Dante:
"Hey, you alright?"

Mim awoke and stretched for a bit before fully getting up. She got up and went off to get some breakfast before deciding what to do next.

Littlefoot was awoken by his grandparents. He reluctantly got up, wanting to stay in his nest a little longer, and followed them off to where they could have breakfast together.

Dante gave a sheepish grin, then looked up at Longtail.
"I'm fine, but...what about you? You seem like something's eatin' away at you. What's wrong?"
He asked, worried about his friend...

Longtail shook his head and replied "Well that silly sleep story is still bothering me. I just can't get it out lo my head." He then stood up and said "I think I need to talk to someone about this...and I think I thought of just the same person as to who I was thinking about." Longtail then blinked and sighed.

He then stated "I'm so tired that I can't even think right." He turned to Dante and Kaga and said "I'll be back in a while..." He then spread his wings and took to the sky in the search for who he felt could help him.

Strafe woke up and headed outside for breakfast, leaving Snork asleep on the ground inside. She joined Kaga outside and and said cheerfully, "Good morning, Dante. Good morning, Kaga." before begining her breakfast.

Cera awoke, glad she had before he had had. She started eating some from a nearby bush while she thought about where she'd like to go to to eat most of her breakfast.

Mim went to a tree and climbed it. Once she was in the tree she climbed to a good thick branch and sat down to eat a few of it's leaves and a tree sweet.

Littlefoot ate with his grandparents. Looking up at them he said. "I like the new comers to the valley. They seem to be a nice group."

Grandpa Longneck smiled and replied "Yes Littlefoot the newcomers do seem like a friendly bunch, I am even glad to see that they can defend themselves from sharpteeth, and if I recall correctly they have a sharptooth among them...which can only be a good thing." Grandpa Longneck picked several more treestars out of the tree, before noticing something.
"Isn't that one of the newcomers now?"

Longtail had finally found who he was searching for, and he landed in the tree next to him. "Good morning everyone." he said to Littlefoot and Grandpa Longneck.

"Good Morning young one, are you alright, you seem tired." Stated Grandpa Longneck to Longtail.

Longtail shook his head and replied "No...actually, I wanted to talk to you about something Grandpa Longneck...if that's okay?"

The elderly longneck nodded and said, "Of course" he then turned to Littlefoot while commenting "I'll be right back okay."

Littlefoot nods, "It's ok, grandma and I can go over there." Littlefoot said indicating wit his head a spot a short distance away out of earshot and walked over closer to the water to where there were some bushes growing not far from the water was and started to eat there.

Grandpa Longneck then sat down and asked Longtail "Now what is troubling you...umm...Longtail isn't it?"

The young flyer smiled and said "Yes. I had this sleep story last night, that one of my friends in our group would give me over to Virgil. I-I trust my friends but, well my last few sleep stories have come true and I'm scared...what should I do?"

The elderly Longneck sighed, and waited a moment before responding "Well Longtail, after the other day when you fought off Virgil I know that even if your sleep story becomes true your friends will be by your side, and we here in the valley will do everything we can to help you should you need it." Grandpa Longneck then smiled and said, "Besides Littlefoot and his friends seem to get into trouble quite a bit here in the valley and they always look out for each other. So try not to worry too much."

Longtail smiled back and nodded his head as he commented "Thank you so much Grandpa Longneck I feel much better now." He then giggled as he asked "may I eat with you and Littlefoot?"

Grandpa Longneck nodded his head as he walked towards his grandson with Longtail flying behind him.

Strafe said sympathetically, "Don't worry, Longtail. We won't let anything happen to you. Now maybe we can have some fun today if we stay close to the herds. I doubt Virgil will try to attack us if there are other adults around."

She looked at Littlefoot and asked, "So, any suggestions for a game?"

Littlefoot thought for a moment and thought back to the many different sorts of games his friends and he liked to play, when they weren't exploring new areas of the Great Valley they had not been to before, or caves they had not been to, or having some sort of adventure.

"There is swimmer & splasher, the pointy seed game, the one where we roll a rock at a group of stacked pointy tree seeds, hide and seek, & it." He said suggesting some games, leaving out the pretend sharptooth game since the recent fastbiter attack he thought it best not to mention that game.
