Longtail stepped through several bushes and smiled as he noticed a large pool of water with several swimmers inside playing. Unfortunately because he'd never seen Ducky before he couldn't tell her apart from the rest of the swimmers playing in the water. He then turned to Cera and asked, "Uhh..do you mind...I don't know what Ducky looks like."

Cera walks over to stand beside Longtail. She looked at the young swimmers.

"That is her over there." She said indicating with her front right foot the spoke up louder. "Hey Ducky over here." Cera said.

Having spent the majority of her life traveling and very little time playing, Strafe had never played the "splasher swimmer" game.
She asked the others, "So how is this game played anyway? I've never even heard of it."

Snork shook his head and added, "You're asking the wrong guy. I haven't played many games at all. I assume you guys know how to play it since you suggested it."

Ducky turned her head as she heard Cera calling. She said bye to her sisters and brother sand ran to say hello. She stopped however when she saw the group standing with Cera and said in a trembling voice, "C-cera...there are sharpteeth behind you, there are!"

Longtail tried his hardest not to laugh, as he took a step back and whispered to Dante, "I think you'd better step back as well...she seems scared...although I'm surprised she hasnt' heard about our arrival...especially since we've met her mother."

"They seem ok. They helped us fight some mean sharpteeth." Cera said. Being Cera she would not see they were doing more of the fighting likely then she was.

Littlefoot looked around at the others, "We play it in water. One is the swimmer and the others are the splashers. The splashers try to not get touched." Littlefoot said. "Or we can just splash in the water and have fun."

(OOC: I think this is how it's played, I"m not sure since I only recall seeing a brief bit of the game and may have forgotten if it was shown in more detail.)

Longtail smiled as Cera quickly defended them, and said, "Yeah, why just yesterday, we fought off a whole group of sharpteeth, and they had us outnumbered too."

Duckys eyes went wide at that statement and she muttered, "Cera is that true, is it, is it?"

Cera nodded, "Oh yea, we were all fighting off the mean sharpteeth earlier, these here were helping us. ThenMr. Thicknose and Littlefoot's Grandfather showed up and they left. Probably because we were fighting so well and they didn't want to face some grownups too." Cera said her pride in her voice and stance of how the fight had gone and how everyone fought well in it.

"Wow! How exciting it must have been." said Ducky with an air of wonder. She then looked to Longtail and the others behind him and replied, "Well if Cera can trust you then so can I yep, yep!" She then turned to face Cera and asked, "So are you all here to play a game?"

Cera nods, "We were thinking of maybe playing either swimmer and splasher or perhaps just splashing around since the new folks may not know the same games that we do." Cera said. She looked at the others and Longtail, "What do you guys think?" She asked.

The thought of a relaxing day with her friends sounded very appealing, especially after the previous day's encounter.

Snork said in aggreement, "Ahh, I think i'm gonna enjoy this. I never got to play games as a kid."

Littlefoot looks at the others around, "Seems about half want to play and half just want to relax. Maybe we can relax in the water, or do some splashing in the water, so that way everyone gets what they want." He said, "What do you guys think?" He said.

Ducky jumped in a circle as she exclaimed, "Oh well then what are we waiting for....we should go yep, yep, yep!"
