The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Adventuring to Cuba

Okay, i'll try and go through the entire trip in some detail. I would like to note that there aren'r very many pictures of me due to the fact that i was taking all the pics. Another notice, some pics might have a different date stamped on it then what i state, and thats because i decided to take some pics a couple days later. Alright, here we go:

Day 1, March 9th
Depart at 3:00pm, by bus, to the Edmonton Airport. Arrive at around 9:00pm. Leave airport to Toronto at 11:00pm. BTW, I watched Cloverfield on the Airplane,  a really cool idea for a movie.

Day 2, March 10th

Arrive in Toronto International Airport at around 6:00am and leave for Cuba shortly after. And now for the first two pics! http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/mr...ba/100_0079.jpg
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/mr...ba/100_0080.jpg. Both pictures were taken as we were touching down in Havana at around 9:00am. Heres a pic of the Havana airporthttp://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/mr...ba/100_0081.jpg Now we take a bus to our hotel. Here a pic of our hotel as we approach it. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/mr...ba/100_0162.jpg. The Hotel Tropicoco, a 3 star hotel........ but lets not focus on the negative shall we? Anyway, after we check in we're allowed free time to go to the beach, which is right outside the hotel. While we're in the ocean, my roomate loses the key to our room, and we're already off to a good start. :lol Anyways, i don't have very many pics of the beach since i never wanted to get my camera stolen, especially since the beach is very packed on the weekends, but don't worry, there will be some beach pics later on. But i did take some pic of the beach from the hotel.http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/mr...ba/100_0366.jpg. So thats pretty much it for the first actual day in Cuba. I'll break the trip into sections, each section being one day (or a half a day if we did a lot that day). I'm not sure when i'll update, but it should be sometime during the weekend.

Sounds good so far.  Except for loosing the hotel room key.  I wonder how often that happens to the hotel guests.

Ya, at the time it sucked, but now its pretty funny. But what makes it so funny is that earlier that day, they gave us a speech about not losing your key.

I haven't anytime this weekend to update anything because of Grad. I'll probably get something up Monday or Tuesday.
