The others, Petrie, Ducky, & Spike, made their ways to their parents nests and were soon or not so soon, asleep.

Chomper awoke, having been only lightly dozing, as soon as he smelled the familiar smell. He got up and made his way over to where he smelled the person to be. Speaking as low and as quiet as he could so as not to wake up Ruby and so only the two of them could hear he said, "Hello."

Frank walked out by the main hanger door and watch the sun set. "In a few hours I'll be heading toward the DIG base,' he said to himself. "With 50 rounds to each cannon and all the camera equitment in my plane I'm unfit to dogfight I've just got to get in and out quickley,' he thought to himself.

After everyone had said their goodbyes Longtail had taken to the trees to sleep in for the night. Sadly his bad habit of falling out of trees when sleeping didn't seem to ever go away. As he slept soundly, his body rolled over the edge of the branch and he fell.

He landed of course on his head with a 'whack' sound. He blinked several times and noticed someone. He stood up and quietly walked over until he could see who it was...and he smiled as it was Chomper.

He walked over and whispered to him "What are you doing out here so late? Shouldn't you be sleeping Chomper?"

the two hours passed quickly as frank waited he was finally given the green light to proceed after the sunset had ended and the moon was up frank climbed into his plane and began pre flight checks. "Alright the sun's set completley let's get airborne,' said frank. "Vlazgriz 1 you are cleared for take off' the air control officer said. "Vlazgriz 1 here rodger that,' replied frank. He slowly applied power to the Pratt & Whitney F119 engines moving down the runway as he reached take off speed he pulled the stick back and flew off into the night sky turning south before slamming the throttle to maxinum and flying south. the officer said to elm "I wonder just how many forces the DIG have'.

"If what was caught by systems in the sky is correct about 150 DIG and a very small heavy force that a chopper, most of the very warfare units fell into the oceans when the waters raised" Elm replied "It a very tiny force, they must know we don't have much a real defence... but it enough to hold them off but they must be waiting for something... something here" Elm whispers then look at the officer "I will be in my labs, contact me on any new reports" Elm leaves.

Grank rubbed his eyes he was almost to the DIG base he reminded himself to stay awake. "Alright DIG island base in sight,' he said to himself. As he was just about overe the island he opened the missle bay door where the camera was. as he was just about finished he noticed the symbol on the some of the planes were very familer. "Let's get a shot of those,' he thought. Almost immedietly after the missle alert went off. He saw a SAM being launched and two aircraft taking off. "Damn I've been spotted,' he said as he closed the bay door and rocketed north back to base. the planes taking off were russian made SU-47's the lead called out on the raido "We've got clearence to engage splash all NEA aircraft,'. "Rodger engaging all NEA aircraft,' replied the second pilot.

Chomper nods, "He talked about the underground valley that he was in. He liked it and told us about a meeting tomorrow, after we promised not to tell the grown ups." He said, wondering if this or what the conversation would be.

In the DIG Recon Unit that was stationed on the Island the ones spoke to the fighters was in there and in the shadows sat the boss of DIG he looked at the data about the southern defences "IDIOT!" the one that gave clearance to engange jumped out of his seat looking at the dark spot of the small room "You stupid mammal! look at the data we gathered and what did I say about enganging NEA forces" then he look to another and points the claw tip with greenish scales finger pointed right at another.

He got up and saluted "Not to engage without your promission SIR! And NEA forces around the dinosaur mainland out number us 20 to 1 SIR!"

"Sit" the person sits down and the boss gets up showing a Rainbow Face snout in the light looking right at the man that gave the clearance "I got something speical for you, take him and use the DCURE on him he will make a nice new Rainbow Face that way he'll have more brains then idiotinece that will go a long way for the Dinosaur Islatation Group." the boss said with a smirk the guards grabbing him and taking him to the doors "Call off the planes and destory the sam missile. no questions" he sits back down into the dark corner only a few of the DIG people ever saw who their boss really looked like and many dare not ask questions about it since they could end up having the DCURE.

The missile was closing in and suddenly explodes and what else both fighters pull off and head back to the island.

(Mr Thicknose has no one doing it at the moment and not so sure about Mim, since Elm and no other human caught a Rainbow Face walking around and Littlefoot saying he rarely seen any and last time he saw two was the same around the time they went to sleep and woke with ice melting everywhere. hope the recap of some posts back help ya Kor)

(Also if you notice the twist, let me know if that ok. it was just a idea that popped up about who the boss is of the DIG.)

Frank saw the planes withdraw and the missle explode and said to himself while smirking "I guess my reputation scared them off.' He began to fly back to base and thought "what 'they' doing here.' "It may also be because of my subcarriers are close by,' said frank to himself. (Yeah the twist is good I like it)

Longtail could still see Chomper, and it looked like he was talking to someone, but he couldn't see who. And to be honest he was too tired to care. He turned around and started walking alone through the valley until he literally bumped into Mr Thicknose.

"Oh I'm sorry sir. I'm trying to get back to sleep, but it doesn't seem to be working too well. What are you doing up so early?"

He wasn't trying to be nosey but he was curious and Mr. Thicknose seemed like answering questions.

Ricktor shot out of his bed and hit the floor face first as his alarm clock went off. "Crap. I thought I turned you off...Oh well since I'm up might as well practice my Tai Chi."

He then set himself in the center of the room and started to practice his martial arts.

Mr Thicknose was looking up at the sky then turned to look at Longtail, "Having sleeping problems again? Sometimes a nice warm soak in some warm water helps one to relax." He said.

"As for why I"m up so early, sometimes I wake up early or stay up late to enjoy looking at the night lights. Some things can be seen only at night, some only at day. Though something seems different, very different." He said as he turned to look back at the night lights, if any are visible anymore.

"But that wouldn't likely interest a young one such as yourself," Mr Thicknose said as he turned to look at Longtail again, "you must be very tired and want to get back to sleep." Mr Thicknose said smiling a bit at Longtail.

(OOC: I figured since ancient humans, likely, figured out one could make pictures with starts, and watching them may have noticed, maybe, that one certain one didn't move some farwalkers may navigate by that if they travel at night and some may travel a bit at night. And with the stars moving around, across the millions of years the dinos were asleep, one who did watch stars would notice a change over that span of time, and the north star does change I read. The ones the ancient Egyptians used is not the same one we use do to the stars moving around. If it doesn't fit I'll edit my post.))

"As you say always" Startor laughed then said to him as they walked on in the caverns "tomorrow your friends will get to meet me and two others. Professor Elm his well kind of my boss in some senses since I take missions for him and Evan a new person that just arrived and saw Littlefoot with Elm today in our underground Valley as you call it. It where we grow our food and go to relax if stressed out and new a greenery enviroment to chill out in." Startor spoke to Chomper about some of the encounter with Littlefoot and about what they all will be seeing tomorrow.

Elm stood at the hanger seeing the jet come in for a landing he just came back from his lab and heard of the reports of missiles and fighter jets giving chase. "Their leader must of been aware that our forces now out number them greatly" Elm said to himself as he waited for the jet to come in to a stop to see Frank and find out what happened

the boss of DIG sat with a unpatient tap in the dark the others hearing it and trying to not look in that direction just doing their jobs. "Contact Gregg, slient comm 006."

The person chocked a little then said "Yes sir, right away sir" he activate the comm link.

"Gregg" the Boss spoke

"y-ye-yes sir..." Gregg whispers

"Where is that information... you said you'd have a link to me about a hour ago..." he spoke with annoyance

"Yes... I am about to get it from Evan's journel." Gregg replied

"Good... I will contact you in 1 hour, if you don't have it..." the he cuts the line.

Gregg gulps as the commucation ends and he sitting the room sharing with Evan since he was alone he gets up to check where the Journel is and soon finds it "Our" he sees a lock and picks it open starting to look through it "come on where is that bloody info" he looks and looks and find the enteries for the today.
(Lilefoot could you help out this part by saying what in each entery? it up to you what in it and what Gregg will find out in it if it useful or not.)

(Kor it fine, Mr Thicknose will notice something different in the sky since the stars would of shifted since 65 million years ago)

Frank landed and powered down the engines. He opened the canopy and got out of the plane and walked over to Elm. He took the helmet off and said to elm "I was just finishing up the last photo run when they spotted me so I just slammed the throttle up to full the two planes that followed me are from an elite squadron that I've faced before but back to the mission I was just off shore when the missle just suddenly expolded and the sukhois turned back I tell ya it was strange I never thought they would let prey go willingly,' said frank.

"you see this messenge was only one but this Big Man it seems is why your still alive" Elm explained showing the radio messenge to Frank.

Chomper continued to look at Startor, "It does sound interesting and I do hope the other 2 are nice folks and things go well." He said. "I am looking forward to it." He said, finding it hard to wait till the time when it was suppose to happen. "I wonder why they want us there for. Most grown ups think kids are to young to be involved in important things." He said, feeling some of the usual frustration at being considered to young for certain things and discussions.

Journal Entry nr.1234 January 22st 2011

Today was a day to be remembered! Never would I've expected what was about to happen when Elm brought me down to Farm Greenhouse B7 .Not only was I amazed about the state of the art technology that made all of it possible, I mean some of the plants down there are supposed to be extinct in "our" world!
Then, something happened that wasn't planed!
One of the dinosaur kids, Littlefoot came forth us. Elm seemed troubled by this, myself, I was litterly stunned by amazement, that is, 'till Elm slaped me in the face.
And so I was talking face to face with Littlefoot. I simply couldn't belive it. I'd never dreamt of that acctually happen! Neither, that the dinosaur spoke the language that we humans know as English! Not only did he spoke it, he spoke it as if he would've been a native, human English speaker!
Littlefoot told us about how he had fallen down trough hole from above, and ended up in that underground complex while examining one of the many cameras that have been placed all over the Great Valley by Elm and his crew. How they managed that without getting spoted I can't understand.
About Littlefoot, he is the most interessting creature I've ever communicated with, though, it feels sad to use such scientific terms for that... since Littlefoot showed all recemblences to a human, that is in speech, ways of acting in a situation, and describe emotions. Everything!
I haven't been able to follow Littlefoot to meet his friends, but tomorrow Elm asked Littlefoot to bring his friends as the procees to un-freeze the two "rainbowfaces" in the ice will comence.
If I can meet his friends, I'm sure that I can prove that all our knowledge about dinosaur relationships, way of acting, communication, is all incorrect! To tell the truth, I've already made up my mind about that! You know what they say, "First impression makes it all", I kinda feelt that for Littlefoot aswell. He's a dinosaur, but not such a dinosaur that I know 90% of the people back home would think of!
They are smarter, far smarter than no human have expected.
Just look at Littlefoot! He figured out the function of my glasses all by himself!
I'm sure that Littlefoot didn't fell down that hole by accident, he musy have seen sights of the cameras before he caught up with one...

Which brings me to wonder... what the purpose of the Professor and the New World Alliance is.
It has been on my mind for some time, even before I got here.
And what are those two dinosaurs frozen in ice?
Another good question is why Elm was so accurate with the members of the project not to see, talk, meet at all with the dinosaurs...
He seemed very troubled when Littlefoot appeard, I'm sure that wasn't included in the project. He seem crucial that the Great Valley doesn't get involved to much in all this, that I can understand. But then, why did he decide to bring Littlefoot and his friends to the un-freezing tomorrow? Appearently, Littlefoot knew about something common to the dinosaurs kept in the ice.
He told us about that he'd seen some sort of flying object with bright light, and after that, these dinosaurs called rainbowfaces had appeared. Strange things had started to happen afterwards.
And I remembered Littlefoot say:
"The two rainbow faces vanished in some tall light thing with night sparkles going off where they was and going up it then this weird flying rock shiny flew away and went up into the sky."
I might be a scientist, but I'd be dumb if I don't realize that what Littlefoot talked about might be what humans describe as Aliens.
Does this have some connection to the ice-shelf catastrophe back in our world?
I think I see some sort of conncetion...
These rainbowfaces that we've found... The NewWorld Alliance... The Great valley...
Hopefully, I'll get more answers tomorrow when the melting will commence.
But why does Elm keep this such a secret? He gave me a high level clearence, and told me that what was said between us and this situation, should stay with us.
So what should I've done when Gregg asked me these questions of his?
I didn't told him anything, but I'm sure that the excuse I gave him didn't convince him...
Well, time's up.
Tomorrow will be a most interessting day. I'm gonna find out more about this whole thing.

Gregg smirked "yes just what I needed" he took out a small device unlike any human technology seen before it let off a blue light scanning the writing as it went over the paper then he put the book away goes back to where he was sleeping at in the next bedroom attached to Evan's sharing one door he takes the comm device "Big Boss this is Gregg I got what you wanted sending it over now"

Big Boss replied "I am getting it now, good......" suddenly there was a huge pause

"Sir?"

"Your mission is to destory that ice block right now" Big Boss spoke out in anger.

"I can't it lvl 9. I am only lvl 4"

"LVL 4! you should of been lvl 9 a month ago! you idiot! I... ok that it!" Gregg gulps hearing the Big Boss really lost it now. "it took you over the deadline to get the information I wanted and then you can't do the job I spoke... I put you there with all the right points to get you to lvl 9."

"I know sir... sorry sir. I will try..." Gregg tries to keep on the good side

"No that is it" Big Boss spoke back "you failed me for the last time... I won't risk you being discovered so what they'll find will be something small fry"

"No sir please..."

In the DIG Recon Van Big Boss look to a control panel being only him and two people working at their stations with his guards he stood out of the light showing his Rainbow Face form he touch a keyboard and starts typing in commands locking to Gregg Bio. "you really disappiont me Gregg..."

"Sir I promise it won't happen again" the voice came through the head piece on the Boss head.

"No it won't because your life and memiors will be gone, reborn with the DCURE as a little baby longneck of Littlefoot's kind, enjoy your new life you remember" Big Boss ends the line and activate a device inplanted on Gregg's arm it releases the DCURE into his bones, muscles and blood all at once sprending rapidly around his whole body.

"NOOOO.............." Gregg bellowed his body shimming in a blueish colour then the clothes fall to the ground with something moving inside it and starting to cry this all made Evan jump up awake from the sounds, both the scaning device and the implant just melts into dust and blows away from the air con all evendence gone only leaving a baby longneck about a few days old inside Gregg's clothes.

"That should hold them up for about a week or so... enough time to call in a meeting and come up with a new plan. Also to create the DCURE in a gas form that work as well at the liquard form without killing those mammals on the mainland... also deal with those two again... I thought sabbtaging that main unit would of killed them... but I overlooked it now I won't again" he goes back into the dark part of the room and sits down "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!" he bellowed at the two people working at their stations they shook their heads "Nothing Sir!" both said and went back to work "Keep it that way... if you know what best for you" they nod their heads in silence "Now the waiting game begins"

Startor look to Chomper "I think it something to do with the Rainbow Faces we going to unfreeze tomorrow. Littlefoot seem to know about them so the Professor guessing you all have a run in with those two somewhere down the line of your lives" Startor explained to Chomper "It most likely be yous that know more about them then he or I. So in a sense you kids have a one up on us knowing more about something like this place you live in. We know so little while you know alot of the Great Valley" Startor finished the little example of smarts on different areas.
