Maybe, though if some of the dino chars have abilities I'd like to maybe have at least 1 of mine have some sort of ability, no idea what would fit, power level, ect. I doubt 3 of the oc's being honorary members of a fastbiter herd and maybe being able to ask for their help would count.

not sure if it's an ability since it won't work just anywhere. It's not like the summon spells in oblivion where you can summon anywhere. One of the 3 oc's who can do that have to be in the right area in the mysterious beyond and there has to be some members of the fastbiter tribe close enough to hear the whistle and it may take them a few minutes or more to got to the location, since it's not instant.

That is exactly what I had in mind, to be in a certain area during an event so you can use that OC to call for help in the way you mentioned (I have seen that in games like Star Trek: Bridge Commander, you can ask for help and friendly AI ships will respond, and arrive to your sector in a matter of minutes.). Well, that is maybe not an ability that things ther characters can do in rpgs like this one, but it is still something that should be considered to have due to it's usefulness.

Mim's knowing about stuff and plants likely isn't an ability either, or Mr. Thicknose being as old as he is and knowing stuff. Maybe if one assumes he has a photographic memory when he says he remembered every word of what he heard when he listened to the farwalkers talking about the great beyond, but that is maybe not an ability either.

Maybe Ducky has an ability to stretch her neck, she did it a bit in the first movie to try to show Littlefoot that she is a longneck, though I don't think she's done it since.

It is your first rp that you are running, it is only natural that you think a lot about it, that and it's not pure lbt so it requires more thinking then a pure lbt rp would.
