The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

New names for the gang

Pterano is Petrie's uncle's name, as you know. He would be well off choosing a new name that isn't the name of a relative.

well, I was thinking he would take that name to honour the uncle he holds so dear :p But that's just me.

I think that the point of this was that the gang went into hiding and had to choose new names to remain hidden. Others could easily relate Pterano to Petrie.

Perhaps he could use only a part of Pterano's name, or alter it a bit so it sounds like a totally different name.  Could be Petrie wanted to use Pterano but one of the others of the gang may have suggested a partial change to more easily go into hiding.

I pit the blame on the Firefox Spellchecker

or so, I'm not used to typing the name Littlefoot into by browser XD

Actually, those are really vague names, not names that could be easily recognized. The only issue is if they are actually capable of making up such wild names like that.

Oh no.. I think its quiet normal to name your child Littlefoot or Ducky

if your quiet MAD that is

maybe a pet... yes, call your cat Ducky, I'm sure he wont get teased by the other cats in the neighborhood XD

Anyway, back on topic

Ah yes. That is true

I've just always had a knack for fantasy style names. Tolkien was the same way (only he did allot of research on sounds and their meanings that might had influenced the names he used)

The gang we know and love has been framed for a crime they didn't commit and were forbidden to ever live in the valley ever again.

What was that crime?

After many years, they have changed greatly in size and appearance.

How do they look now?

You should pick out the names and get on with the story. It seems like a good plot.

One possible name for Ducky might be Pandora. The name suits her nature of curiosity.

Can you give us an estimated start date?
