The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Update: Thought I WAS Employed Again =(

Okay, so I was set for employment again. Right? Spreading the good news and going back to my usual routine.

Well, today I was to go in and get a drug test done. I had taken a shortcut a friend had shown me recently and ended up making a wrong turn. Hense I got lost...

By the time I found my way back to the main road and got to the place to do my drug test, I was too late.. 15 minutes late.

They told me I had to call and reschedule for another appointment. I did. The lady on the phone told me they cant reschedule. She told me I had to wait another six months and reapply for the job again...

#$^&% companies and their %$#^& policies!

the job hunt continues...

Sorry man, not much else to say.  I mapquested my place for an interview because I had no idea where I was going.  Construction got me turned around more than once.  Thankfully I left early enough so I was only about two minutes late....they gave me the benefit of the doubt with construction.

Keep trying. :)

I know. I know. Its a cruel world out there.

I can only keep trying until I break through the barrier.

Its not the end of the world. and gas would had been a problem with getting to this job anyway.

I'd flip the bird at Cinram and Fox Entertainment, but it wasn't really their fault. It was nobody's fault other than simple clumsiness. Bad planing.

I did leave early enough. but mind you, Huntsville is a nasty city to get lost in.

Still... their policies suck!

That is a pretty bad thing to happen, but you never know when a job is right around the corner.

OMG! :bang

Honestly...I have yet to deal with a situation like this...and already I'm worn out and a little fearful. If this is how the real world works then it sounds like I might have issues on my hands, especially when I graduate from college.

I am truly sorry for your potential loss Aves...I really am. I do wish you the best in finding another job.

Hello:
I agree you really had bad luck, but I know you will be able to get a new job soon, just keep searching, but you may still be able to try to get this job again. But there is a lot of time until that so I hope you'll get a job soon.
