I've been looking hard for a job. I've also strongly considered my
uncle's advise about working for fast food (I hate the thought,
really) which for the momment may be my only option for a simple
income.
I've still been looking though, as I said. I've visited the more
industrial locations around the Fayetteville area most are not hiring,
but I was able to throw in a few aplications here and there.
I'll continue my search perhaps all the hours of the day. But I also
need to get my things packed up so I may getting my moving underway. I
hope to have that done today after I visited a few more locations in
my job hunt.
I'm still writting, but only in the late hours of night. I've found a
strange new inspiration boast and just last night I tackled one of my
earlier book projects and made ten pages of text without a single sign
of struggle. It just poured out like a fountain spouting out a
continual stream of water... scratch that, more like a valcano
bursting forth with unending magma from the vowels of the earth. I
practically wrote until my right hand started to ache from the grip of
my pen (thank you, Christy. That pen you gifted me is a real
blessing!) I was compelled to continue, but decided that ten pages was
enough for the night. Didnt want to burn my mind on the matter.
Currently I'm working three book projects at once (the Arkia trilogy
being amongst the lott) I've started back on my recent book project,
Longfeather and also started a fresh new project which is still
untitled. On the side, I'm doing a comic book project for which I am
being paid to do by a friend here in town. So yes, I've got quiet a
bit on my slate. But why three stories at once? Well, I've found that
if my mind stays on one project for long periods of time, it just
becomes so hard to focus. I alternate between each project daily (or
weekly, according to how strong the inspiration is for a certain
project) I'll start updating on each of these projects through my
Bullock Arts group (and other places that I visit). Everything is
being done longhand right now, the fourth (and final) draft will be
typed up on the computer (the third, on typewritter)...
But before I get ahead of myself, I've made job hunting my main
priority. These writting projects are to be treated as a late night
hobby. Its just best that I set my limits. My parents did have a good
reason for taking away my private works, they very often got in the
way of my job (though taking away anything like that was still unfair
on some levels)
Anyway, more to come soon. =) I'll keep everyone updated.
