Cloud had to struggle to keep herself in the air after Dante's kick, but she quickly found her arial height again and attempted to dive bomb Dante and tried to peck at his head.

Sky however had swung her claws out trying to strike Dante across the chest.
"Come on, fight back already! This isn't going to be much fun if you don't put up some kind of resistance." she taunted waiting for his reply as she continued to swing her claws.

Longtail was still dodging his father and brother when he bent backwards to avoid a nasty claw and bite combo, he landed in the pond that sat in the middle of the cave, but he laughed as he stood up.
"Oh come on...at least try to hit me! You two seem to be really bad at this!"

Both Darkscale and his father grinned as they continued to try and gain a hit on Longtail.

Dil stepped into the pond in the center of the cavern and sank in the water until just her eyes and nose were visible on the surface. She then turned to Greg and used the tip of her tail to tell him to follow. "This is where it gets fun." she said aloud. She swam forward for a few feet and settled right in the center of the pond and waited for her son.

Soul felt Myra and Misty slid off her back. She still couldn't help but smile.
"No no dear. This is them...all of the reborns. Now...to find....your folks." she blushed for a moment in embarrassment and asked Misty, "What were their names again dear?"

Kai looked at Tyra, blushing deeply, then lightly brushed his tail up along hers, stopping at where her tail joined her back.
"Um... Tyra? I guess what I'm asking is... If I said that I really wanted to... Umm... Mate with you and raise a family... What would you say?"
He stammered, looking at the ground...

Dante grinned at Sky's taunt.
"Y'know, I really don't like hitting girls, but oh we'll. It's always better to let a lady have her... Fun..."
He retorted, catching one of Sky's swings, then throwing her into Cloud as he leapt back...

Greg obeyed and followed his mother, keeping most of his body underwater.

Dil smiled as Greg joined her. She then whispered to him, "Watch how it's done by a professional." she then sunk her head completly underwater and swam over to the edge of the water and from underneaith she could see a figure moving and instantly her natural instincts kicked in and she slowly made her way over to the still moving shadow in the water and at the very last moment she raised her head and opened her jaw wide and using all the force she could muster bit down hard onto what she had assumed was prey.

Several seconds earlier...

Longtail had gained a fair amount of distance from his father and brother,but both seemed determined to get him to a point where he couldnt' run anymore, and indeed they had him there. Longtail suddenly had a grave feeling in his gut and it was proven right as a shadow fell over him from underwater and he was consumed by darkness.

Both Darkscale and Longtail's father couldn't believe it...Longtail had just been....eaten!
They both rushed forawrd shouting at Dil.
"OPEN YOUR MOUTH!" or "FOR THE LOVE OF THE GUARDIANS DON'T SWALLOW!!!!"

Ichy had seen what had happened and he cringed as he watching...not realizing that was going to happen.
"I sure hope that kid is alright." he mumbled to himself.

Kai smiled blushingly, gently bringing his tail around to rub at the underside of Tyra's tail base, nuzzling her.
"R-Really? Then... Where shall we go to... Mate, my love?"
He asked her, smiling amorously back at her...

He said, taking her hand lovingly...

Cloud and Sky looked over at the commotion and for a moment stopped fighting with Dante to look over and both screamed when they heard what Greg had said.
"DIL YOU DIDN'T JUST EAT OUR BROTHER?!?" they cried together as they raced over to the waters edge.

Dil however blinked and wiggled her snout for a moment before realizing they were indeed right. She slowly opened her mouth and inside Longtail was coiled into a ball almost resembling a blue rock.
Dil slid her tongue out of her mouth and placed Longtail down on the ground at the edge of the lake. "I am so sorry...I got lost in the moment. Can you forgive me." she asked Longtail specifically.

Longtail was still wrapped in his tail trying to sit as still as possible, when he realized he wasn't in complete darkness anymore he muttered a quiet phrase.
"W-where did I go just now? It was light...then dark...I think my heart stopped..."

Longtail blinked.
"T-that's it...that's all. I almost got eaten...COOL!" he then began to laugh as if it were one of the best jokes he'd ever heard. "Now that was fun!" he commented as he rolled to his feet and stood up.

Dil however was still apologizing over and over at how sorry she was for the accident. So she was indeed surprised when she felt Longtail hugging her nose and smiling.
"You're not mad at me?" she asked rather confused.

"No...I have no reason to be...it was an accident, and could've happened to anyone...I was just lucky!" Longtail exclaimed with a laugh.

The rest of Longtail's family merely sighed with relief or shock and Cloud walked over and patted her brother on the back.
"You are crazy...you do know that right?" she said with a smile.

Longtail's response was, "I'm not crazy...I've just fallen out of too many trees!" he then rolled his eyes and laughed.

Sky then looked around and her gaze settled on Racnar, and she couldn't help but blush.

Chomper had to admit.....Longtail was a bit on the insane side sometimes.

Longtail smiled but said, "no..not again...once was fun enough." Now though he was tired of fighting and to prove it he sat down and drank from the pond for a moment before raising his head and asked, "Hey Greg, what were you and your mom doing in the pond anyway?"

IC: Cayso and Racnar began running and catched up with Longtail and his family at the moment the accident happened.

"I am amazed how you take things, you almost got eaten!... I bet most dinosaurs would be terrifried" - Cayso said to Longtail as he grinned.

Racnar was standing behind his brother, and as he saw that Sky was looking at him, he couldn't help it and gave a shy smile as he returned the gaze while blushing too.

"Ok, well I'll come up with something later" Twiz smiled at Myra. He then flapped over as Longtail was almost eaten. "I know I would have been" he commented to Cayso's statement.

Misty had to think herself, "Um, Windy and...Shane" she recalled though. Then she heard the voices, "Shane, will you keep up! Just leave the egg shells where they are for once" there was an amused sigh in the voice though rather than annoyance.

Longtail gave a momentary look of confusion as Greg asked if if he would like to join...and then he grinned as if he'd found a fresh kill and said, Sure! As I'm the only flyer here who can swim anyway it would only make sense!"

Darkscale, Cloud and even Sky who had to break eye contact with Racnar, all looked doubtful at their little brothers words. And together the trio asked aloud, "Prove it!"

Longtail only smiled more and replied by saying,
"Deal!" and with that said he jumped into the air and dove into the water beak first.

The three siblings dipped their heads underwater to see and indeed Longtail was actually swimming...and rather well for a flyer!

Darkscale muttered an astonished, "I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! How is he doing that?!"

Sky chuckled and said, "Family secret."

Soul had to struggle hard not to laugh as she heard the two familiar voices in the distance after Misty had given her parents given names.

"And speak of the Guardians and they shall argue forever...." Soul muttered as she stepped over to the bickering duo and cleared her throat.
"Excuse me, but do either of you remember me?" she asked politely.
