Longtail smiled and said aloud,
"You and Pearl did excellent for your first times....hey where is Pearl anyway?" He got his answer as Pearl pulled on his tail and dragged the flyer back underwater as she came above the surface gasping for air.

Sky saw the fish coming towards her and she smiled as she swung her claws out and caught three of them, knocking them out of the water and onto shore. She then tired swinging again.

Dil could see the water picking up speed. She turned to Greg with a smile.
"How about you lead this time son. I know you can do it." she said with a motherly smile.

Soul smiled at the display of cunning that Shane had just shown by snatching that egg. "You should be very proud of your father Misty, I'd forgotten how 'sharp' his skills are."

"But not as sharp as a sharptooth's," Julie smirked,e asily taking down the spiketail.

"Yeah I know" Misty smiled, proud. She nodded at what Rita's mom said, "Yeah, admittedly you sharpteeth do have the harder job".

"Not always" Windy said as, with the spiketail taken care of, she could grab up one more egg just because the one Shane had grabbed sort of small for all three of them, "after all, against charging parents our only real defense is running".

Since Sky was able to catch some fishes, that made them escape in disorder, Racnar used that chance to catch some fishes himself, one in each hand and a third using his mouth. After that, he went to the surface to take a breathe, as he took that fish on his mouth with his right hand and then to throw them all to the shore, in the same direction of Sky's fishes..

Greg noticed some fish and swimmers in the distance, swimming against the river.

Sky stood up out of the water for a moment and asked Racnar, "So you think we have enough fish for the two of us?" She then smiled as she added, "Or would you like to try catching some more?"

Pearl was still giggling as Longtail pulled himself from the water.

"Oh think you're funny huh?!" commented Longtail with a smile as he splashed Pearl

Pearl in response pulled Twiz inbetween her and the splash of water still laughing.

Dil followed Greg and could see the fish as well and she smiled. Her son had great instincts.

Soul nodded in agreement to all of Julie, Misty and Windy's statements as well.
"Well who ever has the harder job, I think you all are wonderful hunters in your own right."

"We should be getting back to the herd now," Rita commented suddenly.

Soul continued to smile at Rita as she spoke up, "To see a hatchling with as much caring and devotion to another as you show Rita, it would seem that you two were fated to be together. You should be happy."

Racnar saw the fishes, there was more than enough, specially for him since he doesn't eat much, but he then saw Sky smiling - "Maybe we can try and catch... a couple more of fishes." - He said that and grinned.

Cayso looked at his brother, noticing that is beginning to get tired, and told him, knowing that could ruin his fun - "Don't over do it Racnar, make it a quick diving."

Racnar looked back at Cayso and nodded, he turned at Sky - "So, we make it a quick diving then Sky?" - after that, he smiled and took a deep breathe, returning underwater.

Twiz flinched as the inteded spit hit him and then spit a bit himself after it was done. "That...was beyond unfair" he told Pearl turning to her with a frown. He next grinned though and spalshed her with his wing, "there, you got wet anyway" he said.

"Yeah, well, I think I might just end up like Aunt Gracie and not ever find a mate" Misty shrugged, the hatchling not into boys yet.

Her mother sighed, "Misty, not everyone should follow in your aunt's footsteps, she just has...agreement issues is why she was still alone".

Shane laughed, "That's an understatement" he muttered to his wife's statement on her sister.

"Don't worry Misty, you're still young, I'm 100 percent sure you'll find a mate in the future."

Soul gave a soft reply to Rita.
"You're very welcome." She then turned to Windy and said, "Ya know...I thought I was going to end up alone as well, and one day I woke up...and realized I didn't want a mate...but I did want hatchlings...and that's of course where Longtail's father comes in..."

Pearl giggled as Twiz splashed her. She then splashed him back and said, "Now its fair."

Longtail laughed at the sight and said, "she got you Twiz!"

Sky took another breath and dove underwater again following Racnar. She then got ready to trap a few more fish smiling while waiting for the fish to swim her way.

The fishes knew that there were predators nearby, so this time it was harder for Racnar to flank them, still, he began diving, first closer to the bottom to make the fishes to go up nearer the surface. He then got nearer the surface himself and with a hand, he gave a signal to Sky, letting her know to help him flank the fishes so they both can catch some.

Sky nodded at Racnar's signal and moved to her right as she tried in ernest to flank some of the fish in the pond. She moved slowly and gracefully hoping not to startle them into fleeing too soon.

Windy waited until Shane was out of earshot before replying, "Yeah, to tell you the truth even when I was younger I don't think the idea of a mate appealed to me until...well I don't know" she grinned, "there's something about his...quirks that just, got me" she thumbed over to where Shane was.

"But of course the second I let him hear me compliment him, his ego's gonna go through the sky puffies" she rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Yeah, I guess she did" Twiz admitted. He then noticed he was keeping himself up without really thinking about it. "Hey! I think I'm getting better!" he said, "I was even thinking about swimming and I'm still up!".

Racnar began moving in the same way, speed and direction as Sky, confussing the fishes whom didn't know what to do to flee, as they are cornered between two predators.

"Got one!" Greg roared happily catching a swimmer between his jaws.

Longtail smiled brightly at seeing Twiz handle staying afloat in the water.
"Very good! And Pearl I can see at least learned something as well..."

Pearl at that moment could be seen on her back floating on top of the water with a smile on her beak. "So much fun doing nothing." she said with a giggle

Sky moved as fast as she could and caught a few more fish in her jaws and smiled as best she could at Racnar, before rising to the surface and putting her new catches on the shore. "So, Racnar are you ready to eat yet?" she asked with a smile.

Dil couldn't be prouder of her son then at that moment, as she watched him catch a swimmer. She swam up beside him with a swimmer in her jaws as well, and nodded to her son to show her joy at his first successful hunt.
