Longtail's father laughed and the leaf seemed to glow brighter as he did. Then he said, "Oh relax...I'm just going to lead the rest of you here to a safer part of the island so you can leave. Then I'll be returning here to help Longtail...now lets go." The leaf then started to float into the nearby forest and away from the cave.

Longtail sighed again as he said quietly "They won't make it off the island in time...I'm going to have to bring the fire back in my heart and take this fight higher then I had planned!"

Everyone followed the magic floating leaf. "Until these past couple of days, I never believed in magic," Tyra told Kai. "But I guess I'm been proven wrong."

"But we have to go as fast as we can," Veli said, knowing what Longtail would soon have to do

Greyclaw kept on running, but as he finally reached the island his eyes began glowing again, sending a message to Longtail - "I know what you want to do, you should allow me to help you, so all the suffering will be over." - The Fast-bitter finally stepped on the island, with a grin on his face.

Cayso commented about what is happening too - "All that is about magic is told like if they were just myths, but I know these things can happen, but never in such a way like we are seeing now." - At that time, Racnar's eyes widened as he could sense that something was happening - "he... he's here." - the kid said, letting everybody know that the one who wants to destroy the island has finally arrived.

Cayso stretched his hand and patted his brother's head as he could feel his hands pressing firmly on his chest and shoulders - "I understand... please try to relax and breathe." - Cayso said and he turn his head to see Chomper and told him with a worried look. - "The one that wants to destroy the island has finally arrived, if Longtail's father wants to take us into a safe place it has to be now, so he can return to his son."

"Hurry in here everyone!" called Longtail's father as he sped up just a bit and floated under a nearby tree. The base was completely hollow and able to fit at least three fully grown longnecks inside. "this place should be safe, and it's close enough to the big water that you can reach the sand from here as well. It may take a while, but there is a land bridge that can take to the main land. Just be careful alright?"

Longtail felt as if his heart had stopped for a moment as he heard the voice echo through the cave, but then almost as if by reflex his eyes began to glow as well.
"I don't know who you are...or why you're here...but you know where to find me. I should warn you though, even if I lose the fight that is to come and my life...this island will still sink wether you like it or not."

"We will," Veli tried to assure Longtail's father. He, Tyra, Chomper, Redclaw, and Rita got into the base, which was HUGE, as Longtail's father demonstrated. They waited for Kai, Dante, Cayso, Racnar, and Chomper's parents to join them

"You don't understand me kid, I want to help you take care of this island, but I propose a permanent solution for you... if the island rises again the same angst will be repeated for you, over and over again." - Greyclaw said as he is heading for the cave Longtail is.

Cayso and Racnar entered the hollow tree - "my chest hurts again, this presence... contacts through me... but it asks too much." - Racnar panted. Cayso was quiet, but he realized who is the one that wants to destroy this island - "Longtail's father is right, I had to realize for myself who wants to destroy this island, and I'll have to retun to the cave.... to find out why."

"Cayso.....just be safe," Chomper said, knowing something bad was on another part of the island.

"I hope the landbridge shows up soon," Rita said, looking out towards sea.

Dante trembled as he felt Greyclaw's presence.
"It's not just you, Cayso. I'm going too. This presence...it feels familiar."
He said, eyes narrowing...

Kai nodded.
"His presence feels like Sankakku's does. He can't be good news. If I can, I'll try to stop him..."
He said bravely...

Redclaw looked down at Kai, he had respect for the little biter. "And I'll assist you if you need me," he said seriously.

Cayso grabbed his brother and left him sitting next to Chomper - "I want to go, this does concern me too." - Racnar said just to receive a negative from his brother - "Let me handle this lil' bro, it is too dangerous.", Cayso looked at Chomper and told him - "Please, I trust you to take care of Racnar... I have reasons to believe this presence may come here for him, if we fail." - and before he gave an explanation, he left the hollow tree, not before taking a look at Dante and Kai to see if they'll join him going back to the cave.

Racnar looked at Chomper and made a weak smile - "Yes... I.. I suppose you are right." - He then grabbed his chest again - "I ... can't believe... this is happening... I always imagined to meet him... but never like this."

Cayso began running towards the cave, hoping he would reach Longtail before any permanent damage may occur.

Greyclaw stopped running for a second, his eyes are still glowing as he can now see the entrance to the cave, he said to Longtail still using his power - "I am not here to fight you kid, I am here to finish pending matters. But if you plan to stop me, then you'll have to give me nothing less than your best shot."

Dante ran alongside Cayso, eye narrowed, claws flexing.
"We gotta move. He's close to Longtail..."
He said, worry clear in his voice...

Kai leapt onto a branch, leaping through the trees.
"I'm worried. This...pressure... Whoever that is, they're strong."
He muttered warily...

"That's why I'm coming with you," Redclaw called to Kai. "IF the enemy is as powerful as you say, Longtail's going to need all the assistance he can get from us."

Before they left, Redclaw called back to Chomper's parents "You stay by the rest of the children's side and leave on the land bridge as soon as it shows up."

Longtails' eyes still glowed but he didn't move, nor did he say anything. He simply stood there with his back to the entrance of the cave. After a few more moments he said "Please...come and face whatever you need to finish...but I warn you this cave is my home in more ways than one...don't do anything stupid and we won't have a problem."

Cayso is still running besides Dante and Kai, helooked back and smiled as he saw Redclaw also coming - "With Redclaw here I think we may have a chance; and Chomper and his parents will take care of Racnar and the others."

In the mean time, Racnar was still sitting while trying to breathe slowly as his chest is still hurting him. - "Chomper... I think... it is time to tell you..." - the kid takes a deep breathe - "I think... I should tell you all ... who wants to destroy this island."

"We may have a fighting chance with all of us here. I'm glad we're in this together."
He said, smiling warmly...

Kai nodded.
"I hope you're right. Oh, and Redclaw? Thanks for coming with us. It means a lot to me."
He said to his friend...

Meanwhile, the gang who was back at the tree noticed the landbridge slowly start to take shape.
