Pearl sat back on the beach with Sheila and both girls felt the ground shake as well. Pearl immediately took to the sky to see if something was wrong. She was worried for her new friends but couldn't stop crying wondering if Longtail was alright...

Rita had managed to catch two little swimmers. She held them in her teeth and ran back to Misty.

"We did it," she whispered happily, rushing back to the rest of their freinds.

Pearl gave a sad smile and flapped back down to the ground.
"Thank you Chomper...I know you're right. I just have to wait it out...but what was causing the ground to shake?" she asked in general confusion.

Misty grinned, and then turned from the sight of the dangling little swimmers in Rita's grip. It was odd, being a nest robber herself, but there was something about the little swimmers probably not that far from her own age that was a little unsettling.

She'd decided she liked Rita though.

"Yeah...now maybe we should get really safely away" Misty said and began to push the egg more, "I felt the ground shake and I'm not sure what it was". She didn't feel it right now though so maybe it was just a passing dinosaur.

As they got closer to Vayne and the others, Misty smiled, "We got 'em!".

Once they were all in a relatively safe spot, Misty spotted what she'd felt, another...really big...sharptooth passing by and sniffing about the area. Misty ducked under Vayne a bit, just incase they were spotted and the sharptooth decided to try something.

"Be careful, everyone..."
He said quietly, warily...

"In the time when I was bonded to Dante, and to Kai, I learned that kindness is not a weakness, and I've learned that sometime, it is worth any price to see someone smile. That's the main things. As such, I would ask that you seal me away here, so that I can protect this place from any who would misuse it. But I would have you give Kai back his life. Let him live, for he has done no wrong."
He said, a tear falling from his eye...

"M-Maybe we should just leave...slowly and quietly" Misty said, starting to edge back and roll the egg with her, "I can crack this when no other predators that I'm not sure if like me are about" she kept her gaze on the strange sharptooth sniffing about.

Cayso is serious now, as he could heard the steps of the newcomer - "I wonder who would be..." - If that newcomer was a threat, he was already prepared to grab his brother to try to take him into safety.

Racnar's mind is still busy with the things he saw in his sleep story, that he didn't even payed attention to what the others are trying to look at.

Iolite had to sigh as she asked, "Are you sure about your choice Sankakku? I can grant your wish but only if you are sure it is truly what your heart desires."

Longtail smiled as he watched the second trial. He knew that somethings couldn't be changed but was happy to see that Sankakku was willing to stay behind while giving Kai his life back. 'so noble. thought Longtail to himself.

Pearl looked down and tried hard not to scream as she watched something with a long neck walk out of the water...she then smiled as she said, "It's DOC! The lone Dinosaur!"

Sheila lost the color in her scales as she heard Pearl's announcement. She wanted to run...but her body wouldn't listen.

Seeing the lone dinosaur from where they were as well, since the nest was close as Rita had said, Misty's eyes went wide. "H-he can't be real!" She glanced to the egg and then backed up panicking. "Oh...something tells me a legendary leafeater protectors gonna have more than a few cross words for an egg robber. She hid behind Vayne's foot, yet hungry as she was, her little arm shot out and attempted to pull the egg in alongside her while still staying hidden...she just couldn't give up fully now!

Doc stepped up onto the shore, and shook the water off his body. He then stared down at the small group of sharpteeth. 'The same ones from that stupid island! his eyes widened, and for just a single moment his body tensed with rage....but then as quickly as the anger had come, it vanished replaced by a happy, and warm smile.
"You kids...don't even know how bad your day is going to get, and I'm not your biggest threat..." He then looked to the sky and began to walk away from them as he said, "I'll be seeing you all again...I promise!"

Pearl was speechless...and it showed as she floated down to the ground and couldn't say a word.

"Here's nothing but pure evil," Tyra said, walking over to Misty.

Chomper and Rita nodded in agreement. "We even fought with him back on the island," Chomper explained. "I thought Kai and the others finished him off."

"Hmm, well makes sense it would take more than that if he's legendary and all" Misty replied. She frowned though, "why...why did he just leave then? I thought for sure we would all be dead...".

"I'm not saying I'm gonna chase after him anytime soon, I don't have a death wish, but...can't the guy do anything that makes sense" she shook her head.

She stepped over to her captured egg once more, protectively (for hunger reasons) keeping it in sight so it didn't roll away.

Vayne's eyes narrowed.
"Something about what he said..."
He then seized up, turning.
"You guys stay here. I have...a score to settle with that scum. A life for a life."
He hissed, sounding far from his normal self...

Sankakku nodded.
"I've caused enough pain for my lifetime. This is the least I can do. And...let him live a life free of pain, one free of suffering. He has so much going for him, it's the least I can do, letting him have the future...the one he deserves."
He said, then looked back at the still body of Kai.
"It's Ironic. Me, who once sought to destroy the world, has grown...strangely attached to it."
He sighed, then looked at Iolite and Tonitrius.
"I'm ready."
He said with finality, looking at the pair of them...

"Y-yeah" Misty watched with much hesitancy as Vayne walked off. If it hadn't been for his own words of staying put she would have followed, somehow she'd accepted his watching over her which he'd really only done that one time in the past and now, same as Rita and even the others were...but still...what would she do if he let something happen to him now.

"Y-you sure you don't need help..." she called, taking a few steps forward, it was a silly thing to offer one of her kind and so young.

That and Vayne seemed different in a way that wasn't quite a complete change, but still unnerving somehow. She just sighed, then her stomach reminder her she'd dilly dallied with her completed task enough, she pushed the egg back closer towards the cave they'd left, the element of security just seeming better than out in the open and began tapping to puncher in a small hole which would allow some yoke out, much as she always had to do without the benefit of a parent there to crack the whole thing at once, when she got lucky and got an egg of any significant size that was.

Soul nodded her head.
"Alright Sankakku, your wish is granted. You are hereby bound to this island and the afterlife of the Guardians. As for Kai, he will given a second chance at life, and his body will be restored to its original state." She turned to Tonitrius and asked, "Do you have anything to say here...if you do say it now, and thats to all three of them, longtail is the last one, and he is going to need any words of comfort and wisdom you may be willing to give."

Longtail sighed as he asked, "I-is it my turn now?"

Iolite smiled lightly and replied.
"Yes, please step forward Longtail."

Longtail did as he was told and stepped towards Iolite. He was confident but nervous at the same time, unsure of what was going to happen. Iolite then asked, "You Longtail Fury Skyfire...you were and still are the last of the three great Guardians and you have done many, many great things in your life, but there is one thing you should know..."

Longtails father gave a wide grin at that very moment as he watched, while Souls face held fear and confusion.

Iolite continued.
"In the past, you allowed a great and almost pure evil take over your body. And that evil almost cost the entire world...and that is almost unforgivable...Almost but I'm willing to over see this if you answer this one question correctly."

Longtail was nervous...if he got this question wrong he could be sentenced to the afterlife.

And Soul had to speak up. "Wait...why Iolite?! One question...and thats how you would judge my only son?"

Iolite either didn't hear Soul, or didn't care as she asked the question. "Why does the bright circle rise every day?"

And for once...Longtail was terrified. He thought he knew the answer, but if he was wong...he would never see his friends again.

Pearl was still far to stunned from seeing the Lone Dinosaur so close. She looked back to her friends and asked with a shaky and hoarse voice, "W-what...do you mean...pure evil? I-I thought...he was..a good guy?"

Doc was counting on one of them to follow him when he left the beach. He finally stopped walking and turned to face Vayne walking behind him, and Doc just smiled as this was indeed a good day. He then spoke.
"What do ya want kid...I left you and your stupid friends alone on the beach...now let me be on my way."

"I don't like what he said" - Racnar commented about what Doc said, as he stood up again - "... what it is about to start now?"

Cayso frowned as he saw Vayne going after the Lone Dinosaur - "I am more concern about Vayne, if he is not careful he'll be killed for sure, should we go after him?"

"He kills sharpteeth even when they weren't doing anything to him or another leafeater," Tyra replied. "Now that's what I call evil."

Chomper and Rita nodded in agreement.
