Pearl also realized that she too had no place to stay. She turned to her parents and asked, "What are we going to do?"

Soul gave a soft laugh and held her son and turned to face Pearl, Diamond, and Gem. "I happen to see a cave we can use right over there."

Longtail looked over to where his mother mentioned and sniffed the air.
"It smells empty, I say we check it out!"

Pearl smiled as he nodded her head.

Chomper, after getting settled back in his family's cave, went and found Cayso and Racnar. "How are you guys doing" he asked his fast biter friends concerned

After seeing that no one inhabited the current cave, Soul nodded her head.
"This will work for us." she said in a cheery voice to her son, Pearl and her family.

"ALRIGHT!" shouted Longtail with a jump for joy.

Pearl hugged Longtail tight and giggled.

"Oh" Misty couldn't believe she had stumbled upon such a topic, understanding about the loss of parents and all, "Well gosh I'm sorry, and I mean it, as I'm sure you heard by now I lost my parents a while ago to some Threehorns; I don't remember now if it was because they were hunting eggs or not" she confessed.

"Come on" she hopped into the nest, "you can spend the night".

It didn't take Soul long to fall into a deep sleep, and apparently after being dead for so long seeing her sleep brought a rather large smile to her son's face.

Longtail however couldn't sleep. He didn't know why...he just couldn't, but he was tired. Even with Pearl beside him he just couldn't get comfortable enough to get to sleep. He decided he'd do something about it. He quietly stood up and stepped outside the cave as the night circle was beginning to rise in the sky.

He then sighed and flapped his wings and took off into the sky flying over the various nest of sharpteeth, fastbiters, spinebacks, and bellydraggers. He gave a small smile and flew higher still just letting the night air rush past him with joy, but he still wasn't getting any closer to getting tired.

"No problem" Misty first answered, "and thanks back". She then settled down, feeling somewhat better to have a friend there with her than the many nights of just being alone.

Cayso was lay down with his parents and brother, but he couldn't sleep at all. After a while he stood up as slowly and quietly as he could, so he wouldn't wake up his family, and then he began to walk to nowhere in particular. As the Night Circle began to shine in the starry sky, he could see the shadow of Longtail and then Veli as they were flying - "It seems I am not the only one that cannot sleep" - Cayso thought and then he rose his head to better feel the breeze.

Chomper walked over to Cayso, noticing him still awake. Redclaw also came by. "Cayso? Something wrong?" Chomper asked

Cayso was surprised to see Chomper and Redclaw some meters behind him. - "I think I just cannot sleep, I cannot stop thinking about all the things that happened... and about my father too." - the Fast-biter waited for a second before asking Chomper as he smiled - "And why are you awake?."

Longtail was surprised to see Veil awake so late, but in all honesty he did really welcome the company. He gave a small smile as he said, "Oh just trying to tire myself out. I can't stop thinking about what happened....back home...on the island. It all just happened so fast...all I wanted was to visit my hatching place, not destroy it. And certainly not have to die to do so."

Before drifting off, Misty caught through half closed eyes, Chomper walked over and kiss Rita. She smiled to herself and then did drift fully asleep.

"Larsa...did I do the right thing? Was coming here...the best way? Please... Give me a sign."
He said, as he saw the two flyers in the air and sighed...

Arius and Dante sat atop a rock spire, and when they saw Longtail, they waved...

In the shape, a celestial image began to appear to Vayne and only Vayne. It was the shape of a female belly dragger......

"You did the right thing," Larsa's voice said. "You may not have been able to save me, but by doing this you'll have saved the other belly draggers from anyone like the likes of that monster Doc."

She then said "I miss you."

IC: Cayso smiled back at Chomper - "Still, we shouldn't be awake until too late, or we may get nagged tomorrow..." - the kid sighed at he stared at the Night Circle again - "... but I cannot sleep, no idea why."

From a safe distance, hidden between some bushes, two yellow eyes began looking where the herds are. The image smiled and said to himself - "You should have your rest, you will need it."
