Cayso grabbed his brother and hide behind some bushes too, staying watchful for the powerful Longneck. The big brother was very serious, preparing himself for the worse if it happen, while Racnar was just amazed to see from that close the most famous Sharpteeth slayer known.

((OOC: Sorry for the long post, but this came to me just last night))

Doc came around the path just as everyone had finished getting into their hidingspots. Doc then looked down and noticed Longtail. "Oh, hey there kid. We seem to keep running into each other, is their any reason you're here on this island?"

Longtail turned around with a slight frown on his face and replied, "This place used to be my home...so much has changed. But I'm sure it's still as dangerous as ever."
Longtail then looked up to face Doc and asked, "How did you get here anyway?"

The Longneck smiled and said, 'There was a land bridge I crossed that's all."

Longtail nodded and grinned.
"Then I suggest you leave...this island isn't exactly safe unless you can fly." said Longtail with a devious look

Doc scowled and asked, "Was that a threat little one?"

Longtail shook his head and replied "No, of course not...I wouldn't be dumb enough to threaten you. I'm just saying that leaving the island is a good idea for you."

Doc frowned and said, "I'm perfectly able to watch myself. Now please step aside...I saw sharpteeth tracks not far from the land bridge and I think some sharpteeth might be on this island."

Longtail laughed.
"No, I just came from the beach, there were no sharpteeth. And from the way you said, they were big so I would have seen them."

Doc sighed aloud and said, "I don't care what you saw I'm going to check that beach...now step aside."

Longtail stood his ground and said as nicely as possible "I'm sorry Doc, but if you are looking for sharpteeth here then you're just not going to find them."

At this point Doc simply didn't care as he shouted "GET OUT OF MY WAY KID!"

Longtail took a tenative step back and asked, "Was that a threat Doc?"

The older Longneck simply stomped his foot down on the ground and shouted again "MOVE!!!"

Longtail gave a short but dark laugh as he said, "Well then...it sounds like you're in trouble Doc....cause I've got friends to protect!"

And with that said, Longtail jumped off the ground, lauching himself at Doc and latching on to his neck with his teeth and claws, as Doc attempted to shake Longtail off.

Said a voice from a nearby tree, as a black-and-red streak landed on Doc's head, then bounded off...
"Yo, Longtail. How's it going?"
Dante said, perched on another tree limb, a grin on his face...

Chomper didn't ecognize Dante, but he looked up at him and mouthed the words "Take him down," with a smile, not wanting to give away his location

Longtail let go of Doc's neck and flapped his wings to keep himself airborne and said, "Always gotta follow me where the action is huh Dante?" He then dived at Docs face and latched on again digging in deep with his claws.

Doc reared up and tried again to throw Longtail off, and this time was successful as Longtail skidded across the floor and rolling to a stop. Doc then tried to step on Longtail raising his foot to the sky.

"NO!!!!" yelled Redclaw, bursting out of his hiding place (Thopugh everyone else stayed hidden) and tackled Doc, knocking him to the ground before he could crush Longtail. He then bit hard into Doc's neck.

Dante joined Redclaw, slashing at Doc's exposed torso, his eyes narrowed to slits.
"Hey there. Name's Dante. Dante S. Starfall. Nice to meet you."
He said, a dark smile on his face...

Kai had, without thinking, run out from the bushes to join Redclaw and the unknown fastbiter.
"Hey! Leave my friend alone, you stupid Longneck!"
He had yelled, before jumping up onto Doc's side, sinking his claws and teeth into his skin...

Doc at this point was in a large amount of pain and he knew that if he fell over he'd be done for, but he needed these sharpteeth off so he shook his body hoping to throw off at least Red claw and Dante. These two were in the best position to do some real damage.

Longtail finally regaining his sense rose to his feet and knowing that Redclaw, Dante and Kai had the fight covered he nimbly dodged under Docs' massive feet and stood in the center of hte path and shouted to the others still in hiding:
"Follow me! I'll lead us away from here!" He then turned to Dante and Kai and said, "You two FINISH HIM!"

At that moment Doc whipped his tail around and caught Longtail in the belly by pure luck and knocked him against a rock, knocking him out once more.

"You heartless monster!" Redclaw yelled, yanking on Doc's tail so hard it knocked him to the ground. "Now's the time to strike!"

Cayso and Racnar used that time to get from their hiding place. Cayso took Longtail away to avoid been hitted again while Racnar shouted "Chomper, bring the others here!".

Chomper, Rita, and Tyra quickly dashed along with Cayso and Racnar, Chomper giving his parents a signal to follow

Docs' eyes widened in fear as he realized that he was now on his side, and highly vunerable to the other sharpteeth. He whipped his tail around in an attempt to defend himself, He was aiming for Sharptooh, but he couldn't reach and he managed to move his feet and started to stand up. "I won't go down that easily!" He then moved his neck and swatted at Sharptooth.

Longtail was still out of it, and Pearl now flying low next to Chomper and asked, "Is Longtail going to be okay? I don't want anything to happen to him."

"He recieved a strong hit, but I know he has get out of worse situations." - Cayso said while carrying Longtail - "Doc is in a great disadvantage now, but I don't think he will fall this easily, we should think on a way to get out of here, just in case until Longtail can wake up." - Racnar replied.

"We should just keep going," Tyra said. "Even if he won't go down easily, it'll take time for our friends to take him down." Tyra looked back at the struggle. Please be careful Kai..." she said silently, hoping he would hear her.

Redclaw was hit by Doc's head, but it only knocked him back a few inches. "You're weakening," he laughed, noticing Doc was panting. "Take this!" He knocked Doc down, and then jumped on/sat on his neck, trying to put all his weight into it. Even if it didn't crush Doc's neck, it might suffocate him

"I cannot believe it, is this the Sharptooth slayer's fall?" - Racnar asked while taking a look to the newcomer Dante.

"Racnar, we do not have time, we must go now so our friends can fight with more freedom." - Cayso began walking at a fast pace in the same direction they were going before Doc came to attack them.

Dante joined Redclaw, sinking a talon into the exposed skin on Doc's neck, hoping to at least incapacitate the threat that the Longneck presented.

Kai stayed on Doc's back, his claws leaving deep cuts wherever he struck...

Doc bellowed in pain as he felt Redclaw jump on his neck, and indeed he began to choke and cough as he was trying to breath. He tried desperately to throw off both Redclaw and now Dante as well. He was struggling far too much...wasting too much strength and in one final desperate move he gathered all the strength in his legs and pushed himself up as much as he could and again tried to throw the sharpteeth off of him.

Dante grunted as Doc forced himself upright, but managed to retain his grip. Kai, howevec was thrown off, landing hard on the ground, and blackinh out...

Although still in a great deal of pain he noticed that he now had a chance and said, "Oh...time for another sharptooth to die!" And raised his tail in an attempt to crush Kai.

At that moment however Longtail's eyes shot open, and he wriggled free of Cayso's grip and stood as he ran back towards the fight, but said to the others behind him:
"Pearl! Get them to safety! I've still got a job to do! Hurry now!"

Pearl watched in amazement as Longtail went running back to the fight that might've claimed his life...and she shed a tear as she nodded her head and turned her head.
"You heard him guys, follow me! i know a safe spot here on the island, White water cave!" She the sped off down the path hoping the others were still following.
