After hearing his name called several times Longtail bolted upright, and quickly took in his surroundings, and moaned rather loudly as he proclaimed, "Awww...not again! I have got to learn how to sleep in trees without falling out of 'em!" He then looked over to the source of his name being called and smiled.
"Hey guys...what's up?" he called to Veil and Twiz.

"Oh...well here I am." commented Longtail with a shy smile. He then remembered the reason why he'd left. "how's Pearl? I-is she mad at me?" he asked as he stood up and dusted himself off.

Rita had meanwhile briefly left the big canyon, and came back rolling a big egg towards Misty. "This was a spiketail egg I saw, I went to get it when the parents weren't around."

Racnar looked at Greg - "I don't know, maybe we can get back to the water if you like."

Cayso sighed - "well, it is not that I have something better to do. Maybe I just need to relax a little." - the bigger brother smiled.

"Then let's go to the water!" - Racnar said happily as he began walking back to the water, keeping himself near Greg.

"I think we should all enjoy this time, specially since it looks like he is feeling fine." - Cayso commented with a lower voice to Chomper.

Cayso smiled at his friend as he placed a hand on the purple shaptooth's shoulder - "Someday we will. But things has been much better since we got to meet you and the others. So what do you say? should we enter the water too?"

Chomper was glad he had gotten swimming lessons.

Cayso gave some steps backwards, and then he ran very fast into the water, jumping on it and making a clean entry. He then got his head out - "I really wanted to do that."

Racnar smiled after seen his brother's demostration, still keeping himself out of deep waters for now.

"Boy, with you guys watching out for me I doubt I'll have to ever hunt for my own" Misty said with a laugh, "Thanks again Rita, I don't think my stomach's had this much chance to recede since...well ever!"

(ooc: Hehe, yeah I had to have her give a tip of the hat to Mitten's quote in Bolt "Hey look at that, my stomach's receded, how great is that!". Just bought that great movie!

Longtail looked around for a moment more and the sighed.
"Okay, lets go back...I'm sure Pearl is worried now. And I should apologize to her at least." he said aloud. He then flapped his wings and said to Veil and Twiz, "Lead the way!"

Dil meanwhile was enjoying her leisure swim in the pond and laughed when Chomper and Cayso jumped into the water. "Careful boys..don't make too big a splash. I do have passengers ya know."

Pearl was now just sitting in the shallow end of the pond waiting for Longtail to return...she was worried about him and she didn't want him to feel bad about the accident.
