"My mother mainly." He sighed. "She was a top student, and she was wanting to concur in the Cornerian Army... when she had an accident and... well... I inherited her ship and clothes."

Fox rerached the Central Command CEnter, where he saw Petrie standing outside, waving them down.. "good to see you made it" Fox radioed. "You cut it real close Fox. Come on down, and I'll show you what we've found so far about the invaders.." Peppy said.

Bill could see the landing platform and smiled at seeing Peppy after so long..and more importantly he could also see Fay standing next to Peppy with a irritated look on her face.

Bill groaned as he asked his son, "Is your mother ALWAYS in bad mood?"

Jason laughed and replied, "I don't think so...only when she hears your name."

"Yeesh, they've penetrated the system that thoroughly? Looks like we're going to have our work cut out for us, that's for sure." Rey commented as she approached the strip, awaiting an opportunity to land.

"When you say 'much of the system'... Well, how bad is it, Peppy? Or maybe it would be faster to tell us which areas aren't occupied." Slippy inquired, with a slightly nervous edge to his voice.

The only places that aren't occupied, are Solar, Fichina and now Corneria. Everywhere else, our communications have been cut off, and we are forced to assume those are under occupation by the enemy.." Peppy said..

Bill stepped off the transport and saluted to General Peppy and grinned at Fay.
"Sir...they have most of the system?! Even if Fox and I split our teams up, it would take us weeks to clear the ENTIRE system from the enemies control!"

Fay sighed as she placed a hand on Bill's shoulder.
"I thought about that and came up with an idea...I'd be leading a squad of fighters as well, just to lighten the load for you boys."

Jason smiled for a moment.
"That sounds like a good idea mom..." He paused for a moment, looking to both his mother and father before speaking again. "I...just don't want to lose either of you...you're my parents...even if you don't act like it."

Bill and Fay stared at each other for a moment before smiling. They both then embraced Jason in a hug as Bill spoke up.
"Don't worry Jason, your mom and I will be fine...and we'll work this out."

Fay then replied, "T-that won't be necessary. I'll give my squad to someone else, and fly with the rest of you...after all Bill, you'll need all the help you can get...you're getting rusty." she then laughed aloud with Jason and Bill joining in after.

Jason then turned to Peppy and saluted. "Sir, we're ready to go!"

"Erm... Oh yes, the ground forces around Corneria have been wiped out. We have safe terrain to proceed for some time." Will replied, somewhat more comfortable while talking.

The conversation next to him caught his ear.

"So, we're going?"

"Alright! No time to waste!" Slippy exclaimed, climbing back into his ship as well.

Rey had finally found suitable landing and had been listening attentively to the conversation.
"What would you guys have me do?" She asked when it seemed that the planning stage had come to an end. "I'm happy to go wherever I'm needed!"

Bill smirked.
"Well Tessarey since we'll all be heading in one big group anyway, you can tag along...and hey maybe once this is all over, you'll get a promotion."

Fay sighed as she climbed into her Cornerian fighter, and started up the engine.
"You boys coming or not?" she asked with a sly smile.

Jason sighed.
"Uhh...my ship was kinda destroyed! And..." he never finished his sentence however as his eyes spied an old Arwing Mk II (From Starfox 64) He stared at it for several more seconds before running over to it and hoping into the pilots seat and booting up the engine.
"Oh....this is gonna be sweet!" he called out as he closed the canopy cover.

Bill just sighed and climbed into his own personal fighter and started the engine.
"Is everyone set? Then let's rock and roll!!!"

He suddenly stopped and turned, salute Peppy again before jumping into the Airwing and taking flight.

"Where are we headed then? You say, I follow!" Will communicated, adjusting his grab.
