krystal stopped as the spirits stopped in front of them. a numnber of them atacked on top of each other and looked at krystal.. ' suddenly heard them speaking mentally to her ' you are a telepath.. we will speak to you. it has arisen ' what has arisen/ krystal asked ' a great evil in the far reaches of the Lylat System. We are the OMIDS, the last of our kind. these halls used to be filled with our kinds, but after war consumed us, we were driven into the shadows. we have been a.lone for many years.. can you help us?'
_ They're asking for help" Krystal said to Fox, who held up his staff
_"He has found the Green staff, the third of the five rainbow staffs! Find the others and we will help you on your quest" the omids said We hid they away so the enemy could not find them..
Your staff fox, they say there were others like that, and they were used to keep this area above the waters..this used to above the ocean Krystal said.

Jason looked confused for a moment before speaking.
"wait... wait, if they hid these staffs and sunk the land mass under the water, what did they do to stop or quarantine this great evil they were fighting against all this time? Don't you think some of our scientists might have picked up on that while researching this planet?!"

This was a long long time ago Krystal said they have forgotten where they hid them. the staffs were rose red green blue and white in that order of strength..rose was the strongest color white was the weakest.. they removed the staffs to protct themselves unfortunately the evil eventually found them anyway and overwhelmed them.. we are the first vistitors here in many, many, many years" Krystal said " Our scentists have not scanned every inmch of aquus this place is buried deep within a trench..

So we need to find these staffs" Fox began " yes we find them all and this place will be lifted back to the surface by thier powers" Krystal said " the staff can locatre each depending on which one was used " we have The green one so we can find the blue and white staffs. Fox the far end of the staff will glow wehen you are close to one of the staffs.

Suddenly, the radios let out a burst of static, followed by a pair of short taps.
"Hey. Adrian here. I...think I got it working for transmitting again, at least. I've got the red staff here. I'd've radioed in sooner, but when I grabbed it, my Radio went out. I could hear you guys, but...there was...something else talking. Something dark...something evil. I couldn't understand most of what it said, but I heard it call itself the Crawler."
He said, sounding shaken...

"Alright. I'll start making my way back towards..."
Another burst of static cut off his words as somthing else spoke.
"We are the darkness. Where we cover, there is oblivion. Where we gaze, there is fear. All will be devoured. You cannot run. You cannot hide. You will perish, for that is the will of us. WE ARE THE CRAWLER!!"
A dark voice said, then the line went dead...

Adrian was heard pushing a few more large rocks aside.
"I got attacked by these weird shadow beings shortly after I got in here, and when my guns didn't work on them, I ran. I ended up at this thing that looked kinda like a Shrine, and this staff was resting on a pedestal. I grabbed it, and that's when I heard the Crawler."
He said, another clatter of rocks heard...

I found mine in a house of some sort. The Omids said there were 5 staffs, we've now found the middle two." Fox said as he rolled a couple stones away revealing an opening at the top " Can you squezze through there adrain? Krystal asked.

Adrian's head and shoulders soon poked through the opening.
"Well, looks like I can, huh?"
He chuckled, the red staff on his back. Unlike the others, it posessed a pair of blades on either end, with crimson jewels embedded in the blades. The entire staff was a deep crimson, the color of blood...

good to have you with us Fox said as the two staffs came close to each other they reacted and shot out beams of energy asagainst anearby wall a portiion of wall lowered revealkling an ancient map the mids flew up to it This shows where the others staffs are! the white staff is located on the floor above,the rose staff is in the throne room, and the blue staff is near the waterfall
they said pointing to each room. ' the staffa can teleport you to different levels and locations' the omids added. there is a teleporters this way the moids said flying over the rubble ' as hrystal scanned the map into her wrist database..

Fox was teleported to a high ledge and stopped off the teleporter..
