Honorable intermediary one brekclub85! Explorer has been delayed, but please forgive him, as I'm sure his absense is not without reasons of the utmost importance. As for me, I have been recruited to protect the peace of the Great Valley, so I am already about to be under the control of another. But for the sake of our friendship, if I see you on the battlefield, I will not lift my hand against you personally, and if you hope to survive, I suggest you avoid General Serris as well, for his hand does not so hesitate in war as does mine. I will tell him that I will obey all of his orders, but secretly, I can do all but harm those close to me. I value authority, but friendship above all else.

Now listen to me. You know I feel duty to my superiors, but you also know my weakness that I cannot stand suffering either. If any sharpteeth who fight here are wounded but not killed instantly by the iron fist of General Serris, send me notice and I will treat them in secret. But take heed friend. If my commander gets notice of this, I wil be hung at the gallows for my apparent betrayal. I accept your request, but this must be hidden at all costs from the General. I just sent him my loyalty which cannot be revoked, so I must do as he wishes. At least, as far as he knows. We have known each other for some time, so I had loyalty to you first. For that, I will treat those on your side as well, but the majority of my time must be spent in my squad, or there will be suspicions. I cannot come often, so I will leave you instructions to prevent infection that will keep the sharptooth alive until I can arrive. I joined this to save lives, and I do not discriminate, so by helping both sides, I can accomplish my goal to the fullest. See to it you tell no one of this, for the General has ears everwhere.
