I'd rather pick the option of watching T.V shows (despite the fact that I dislike most modern day shows), rather than watch a bunch of movies.

As much as both of those would be torture for me, I'd have to go with the Opera. At least some structured thinking went into making an opera rather just screaming your head off!

Even if the event were during the day, I'd still rather run a marathon in the desert. I reckon that the water I'd lose in such an event would do less damage to the body than the heat loss in arctic water. Water is so much thicker than air and conducts heat much better.
