The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Scariest movie you ever saw?

I'll never ever forget mine. House of Wax (the new version). I have never been more freaked out in my whole life. I still can't sleep sometimes if I think about it.

Dunno why but there was something about that particular movie that haunts me. I've never been more phased by a movie :o

I'm stuck somewhere between Night of the Living Dead (the classic one) and House on Haunted Hill (another classic with Vincent Price).  The only modern movie that spooked me (just a little) was Resident Evil, although I wasn't too happy about it not sharing the same story plot like the game.

I didn't watch many scary movies so far.
"Blairwitch project" and "Seven" rank among the scariest I've seen yet.

All of the horror movies that I've seen don't freak me out at all.  Its as if something has burned the fear right out of me.  But there is only one thing that scares me the most, and it's not a movie.  It's a game.  You guessed it, Doom 3. :o But there is one Scifi Horror movie that I nearly got the hee-bee-jee-bees from and that was Alien.  The part where Captain Dallas gets killed.  That made me jump.  But the best "Scifi" horror movie I've seen would probably be 28 Days Later.  One of the best "Horror" horror movies I've seen would probably be The Ring.

Too many scary movies out there to single out one as the scariest I've seen. I could tell you some of the scariest I've seen, though.

1. Psycho
2. The Birds
3. Signs
4. The Sixth Sense
5. Rosemary's Baby
6. The Omen
7. House of Haunted Hill (the originalonly, and a word of advise: Avoid the remake like the plague)
8. A Clockwork Orange
9. Silence of the Lambs
10. Alien

When i was 9 years old I was staying with my grandparents over the summer by myself. I talked them into letting me watch The night of the living dead (How did they not think a movie with Night and Dead in the same title would not scare me) that night i was so freaked out i had to go and sleep in their bed. have not been scared by a movie since but i still feel uneasy sleeping in that house

Jeepers Creepers wasn't as scary as it was grotesque and disgusting. I remember when I first saw The Ring. I kept staring at my TV screen for weeks after that. It was horrifying

Yes, I find Alien and Signs scary. They left big impressions on me the first time around. Considering that you said no horror films scare you at all, you have little room to be singling me out for criticism, especially when you could be asking everyone here that question.

The first horror film I ever watched, "Candyman", scared the crap out of me.  Hey, I was eleven at the time, so give me a break here .  "Jeepers Creepers" has a storyline that seems like it could happen in real life (until the villian's nonhuman identity is revealed), making this one pretty creepy.  The only other movie series which has scared me is the "Saw" series.  "Transiberian" and "The Strangers" both scared me.  I happened to watch both of those on the same night, so double-whammy there :bang.  Aside from that, no other film has scared me like these films have.
