Forgetting for a moment the purpose of what he was doing, and really he already had what he needed, Dennis frowned at the little flyer's words.

"Well, DNA, um, the blood stuffs and such in it, is used and vital in bringing dinosaurs back, so no doubt you were pricked by something like this just in bringing you back...maybe since the storm, which I can only guess was the ending of your world, was the last thing you remember, because, well" he gave a small chuckle, "for someone to have actually hit you with this during that time would require time travel and we don't have that technology yet".

"Were you knocked unconscious during the storm, before you felt the prick?" Dennis asked, trying to make heads or tails of the flyer's confusing tale.

Longtail sighed and continued to rub the back of his neck with his tail as he spoke up.
"Well whatever the reason...if I ever have to be poked with one of those things again, whoever does it had better have the guts to do it while I'm awake and not try to sneak up on me. Or they'll get it!"

Cyrix simply rolled his eyes at his nephews comment, being sure that he wasn't being too serious.

"Didn't know about dna? Did those other rainbow faces tell you. The ones who spoke in riddles?" Diver said, remembering them from before, though she didn't see much of them she knew her sister's friends may have seen more of them."

"I wish I had had a chance to meet them myself." Mim said, having heard about them a bit here and there in one of the adult story times where they tell each other stories.

"yes, certainly. They came to the Great Valley with a herd of mixed far walkers. My sister and her friends can tell you more, I think, then I can." Diver said.

"I'll keep that in mind" Dennis replied to what Longtail said.

Most of the other kids nodded as well. "Yes" Ducky explained, "they helped us when Petrie's uncle, and Kit's too" she giggled, "along with some mean flyers thought a Stone of Cold Fire was landing and was magic, but I didn't see them for a lot of the time those flyers had me taken, I didn't" she admitted, surprisingly able to broach the subject without much difficulty.

Cory frowned, "I still never gave them a good kick in the tail bone for that!" he said. Petrie's slight frown he smiled a bit, "the other two, I meant the other two".

"Anyway, they seemed to know lots a stuffs like...well..." Ducky couldn't think of much besides, "Well they knew about the Stone of Cold Fire in the first place, even if it turned out not to be magic like they said".

"Hey wait a minute!" Cory exclaimed, "that's right, I just realized, they caused the whole problem in the first place by saying that stuff!" he frowned in anger, "Why I oughta kick them in their tail bones, even if the tail's in the way!".

Cyrix laughed a bit.
"Now Cory, do calm down. As for a fact I have met the other two rainbow faces you clam to dislike, they were friendly and taught me a great deal. I owe them alot." he said with a small smile.

Longtail looked confused as he said, "But I've never seen any rainbow faces beside you and Aunt Mim."

"They sang about beyond the mysterious beyond and the male was darker then the female, she certainly was." Diver said.

Mim looked at Cyrix, "taught you a great deal, like juggling? I have a crazy ol uncle who taught me that." She said smiling a bit.

"My sister's friends saw them more, but I think they looked like Mim, only they didn't have the slight blueish tint to their scales like Mim does. The were green with blue stripes. She was darker then he was." Diver said.

"I certainly would." Diver said nodding.

"A story, it sounds neat, as long as no body gets hurt and it's not to scarry." Chomper said, liking and happy at the idea of hearing a story.

"Well it was like anyother day here when we recived from the radar room that a unknown plane was comming in so I took one of the planes up when I got on sight I looked into the cockpit when I noticed that the pilots were rainbow faces and that's when I woke up,' frank said.
