The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Definitely a damage sponge boss. I mean it took repeated bombardment with explosives and assorted other attacks to destroy the dragon.

Yeah, that's true Serris, I had a thought that it would've been that, but still wasn't 100% sure myself.

And you're right too Kor, like in God of War 3, you fight a few boss battles before you fight Zeus in the end, like Hades, Hercules, a giant scorpion, etc, etc.  It happens a few times in games ;)

Some have a mini boss at the end of a level also I think.

Yeah, I know what you mean, however, I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know that there are games like that....

Actually, I think an example of one would be Doom, you fight bosses at the end of certain levels, but they're not the final boss.

Or in Castle Crashers, they do that at times, heading through one level and halfway through, you fight a boss of some sort.

But yeah, the mechanical dragon seems to fit the Damage Sponge Boss trope, taking quiet a bit to take it down in the end, good work people on it too XD

It's not just him Nick, I've actually added some to it as well, mainly the Shout Out, the First Kiss and the Animal Talk ones ;)

But yeah, I'm trying to help out with the trope page where I can ^^

Not for Drake, Zoe and Zack

They're used to being up late, but of course, they don't trust the military, bad terms as back in their world....the military doesn't trust their kind....mutants/human mutants sort of thing, you know, those with powers.

Nope, they're not, they're my own characters, own world and all, not affiliated with X-Men, Justice League or any other sort of superhero team.

Nope, they're not overpowered.

For example, Zoe can fire energy blasts from her guantlets that she wears, but that's it, no barries or anything like that.  Oh, and don't let her punch you in the face....it will hurt :p

Zack, his power is manipulating sound, but of course, what he generates, if someone else generates sound, he can't manipulate it.  Reason he has a guitar is that that's how he manipulates sound the most, plays on it, then sends it forward as a blast of power sort of thing.  And he does use his guitar as a hitting weapon as well.  However, he is vulnerable from the back, as in, he can fire in one direction sort of thing.

Drake, he has flight, healing abilities, but not great, just better than humans do, not Wolverine or Hulk kind.  He does have some enhanced strength, but again, nothing that strong like Hulk.

And yes, all three can still be killed, which is why they do try to be careful XD

A healing rate like Spider-man had in some comics I read as a kid?  In one he was able to fully heal from a gunshot wound to his shoulder while he slept, finding, to his surprise, his shoulder was fully healed the next morning.

That sounds about right.  I mean, his healing factor doesn't heal as fast as say, Wolverine.  So like Spider-Man would sound more like his healing rate, so if Drake were to get shot, he would still be injured in a few hours time, granted, he would do what he can to ignore it and to keep on fighting if he needed to, if not, then rest up his wounds sort of thing.
