Velma nodded, "Even if the egyptians would allow it, which they'd not, Jason would not I'm sure since the the library was destroyed and they do know, from them being referenced, some passages being quoted, or mentioned, that certain scrolls were in the library but were destroyed. " Velma said.

Spyro and Cynder walked out of the section they had went to look in. Neither was carrying any books with them.

"We couldn't find anything," Spyro explained.

"Let's see if this place has an attic, or something," Tsukasa suggested.

"What for?" Yuusuke asked.

"The original owner could have stored a clue there, or some of his belongings might remain and they could give us some hint of where to look next," Tsukasa explained as he headed towards the stairs.

Sarah looks at Tarrax, "That sounds like an interesting library, but he's your master? I though the 2 of you were friends ." She said.

"I guess that means we head back." Velma said. "We should have enough clues here to have him look over and pick out some useful info."

My master can be avery kind soul, just look at Scooby, dixie and thier friends, he would n't have given them those rings if he didn't trust them or think them worthy of it.." Tarrax replied as the group went to the front desk to bring to check out their books. The Librarian took the newspapers from them'Sorry, these have to stay here" She said.

"Let's go," Tsukasa said beckoning Yuusuke to follow him. They ascended the floors with Tsukasa asking why they needed so many stairs. Finally they arrived on the nineth floor.

"Should we split up?" Yuusuke asked. "I go down one end of the hall, you go down the other?"

"Sounds fine," Tsukasa said, turning and heading in the opposite direction of Yuusuke.

These are our only copies" the librarian explained, pointing to the ancient newspapers. "I can make a photocopy of them if you want.." She smiled, then looked at the clock. "Oy! 4 minutes to close. "Look, I'll Make photocopies of them.. and you can keep them... but after I give them to you , you will have to leave , as we will be closed at 8"

"I thought they got the rings as fashion accessories, since they get along well with their fur and eye color." Sara said. She then used a bit of magic go contact Jason, very little needed since his species was natural semi telepaths and thus easier to reach then ones who had no telepathic abilities at all.

"I liked it," Cynder replied with a smile. She frowned and leaned over to Dixie to whisper into her ear. "I felt a little sorry for the Phantom at the end though."

"Tsukasa!" Yuusuke shouted, causing him to spin around and start back in Yuusuke's direction.

He stopped in front of his friend and glanced at the dust and cobweb covered door next to him. It didn't appear to be the door to a room, rather he was sure it would lead them to another floor.

Tsukasa reached for the door knob and turned it, finding the door locked. He stepped back, pulling out the Decadriver. "Looks like we'll have to force our way in."

"Wait!" Yuusuke interrupted. "This isn't a secret door like the one we blasted into before. Briggins might not like us ripping through it and he might have the key, too. If we ask him, perhaps he'll let us in."

"And what if he doesn't?" Tsukasa asked. "That guy could be involved in the curse."

"You really think so?" Yuusuke asked.

"He's a prime suspect," Tsukasa replied. "He's been here for a long time and he turns a blind eye to all the strange happenings. But then again maybe he's just a normal creepy human."

He frowned thoughtfully. "Anyway, we shouldn't trust anyone too much. Remember Hajime?"

Strut (Altus) looked at Cynder. "Well, the best part of the movie was President Bush bonding over the 2 stoners over pot. That was so outrageous it was funny."

Dr. Zanasiu (Timothy Johnson) chuckled. "Ahh, Pot and President Bush, what else goes together like that?"

Deimos (Acheron) looked around nervously. "I can't wait until we get back to the hotel."

Rime (Don) grinned. "Aww. Are you scared?" he said mockingly.

"Don! If you don't shut the [censored] up I am going to pistol whip your [censored] ass back to the [censored] ruins of the Insane Cafe! Do you [censored] understand!?" Deimos shouted.

Mr. Bigmouth sighed. It was the same Deimos he knew from The War of the Beyond; loud, foul-mouthed, crude and rude.

"Cynder, Dixie, anybody up for a girls' night out?" Ms. Swimmer asked.

Certainly" Dixie smiled. "I felt sorry for him too, but he survived. He left those roses on Christine's grave at the end, you didn't see him but the roses and the ring showed he was there." She said, whispering to cynder in reply. "We'll go out with mS. SWimmer for a bit, once the others get to the hotel.. how does that sound?'
