Velma looked at Veemon. "Lets try to find the kitchen or dining room." She said and used the light from her cellphone as light to head towards the stairs and go down.

"So do you folks want to head to your rooms or do something else." The Tourist looked at the group with him and asked.

Veemon followed her at a slow pace.. the he heard voices above them. " You hear that Velma? Lets go see what that is.. after dinner..'

Mikoto crossed his arms, feeling annoyed to have the lights go out and being stuck as a blind as any other human would be. The pain from the Dino Minder's energy build-up had faded and the device seemed to be as stable as it ever got, so maybe he wouldn't need the group's assistance. He decided to wait and stay with them though, especially since they could maybe get him home.

"Light," Cynder commanded, her ring lighting up and illuminating the room. Spyro copied Cynder, lighting his ring up as well. They followed Dixie and Scooby and examined the secret passage.

"Hi, Shaggy," Spyro greeted.

Stitch Angel, Agumon and Agumina, all copied the technique, and soon the stairwell was lit , if not brightly, enough so the others could see, the sairs were grimy and dusty, it was clear this passage had not been used for many years..

Man I wonder where this place leads" Skull said, careful not to trip on any of the stairs. "Probably up, since thats where we're going" Bulk said shortly, his breaths audible on the stairs. Bulk was a large guy, and probably need to drop a good thirty pounds...

In the digital world Terry had his costumes switch to normal looking clothes and activated the device to try to get back to his home world. Hawkmon was on his shoulder.

He went through the tunnel and as he went it switched color to reddish. On the deck of the ship a small white glowing area appeared. Then wind came from this as it grew wider and mist blew out of the white area obscuring what was happening withing. When the wind died down and the mist dissipated Terry stood there in normal casual clothes circa 2045.

"I wonder where we are this time." Terry said looking around.

"Somewhere far to wet for my liking." Hawkmon whispered so he voice would not carry.

He took off his hat and put it on Hawkmon as he noticed the raining, pulling his goggles down as he turned them on so he could see in the dark. & he made for the hotel.

Deimos followed the group. "This place is old. I wonder what's here?" He didn't voice it but he was glad that he bought his pistol, several magazines and armor.

Zachary took up the rear. He kept Deimos's red flare in view and his ax at the ready as he followed Deimos. He too was thankful for his armor.

A Rumble in the bushs nearby revealed the presence of three creatures. Genki a human, and two wolf-like creatues. Tiger was complaining. "That hotel better be close Genki, I'm soaked , and would like a place to dry off.."
Tiger was a large blue and white wolf with two white bent horn, on the left side of his face there was a scar which ran down the side of his face. the other wolf was purple in color and was overall, a much kinder creature than Tiger. Tigeress cared for Tiger, and he for her, but that was as far as the relationship went, for the moment..

"I though you weren't afraid of anything." Zachary said.

"I'm not afraid of anything that I can kill. Emphasis on 'kill'. How can I kill a ghost?"

"That's because you weigh more then an Ogremon," B.G. said to Bulk. "I just live off the land, wandering around, staying in the occasional village. Pushing the occasional stick-in-the-mud into the mud." He chuckled.

"We can split up and explore both," Cynder pointed out.

Spyro went over and stood next to Cynder. She glanced over at him and then back over the rest, guessing she had just ended being one of those that would explore this landing.

"So are you going to keep going up, or explore around here?" B.G. asked Agumina.

"There are enough of us that the two groups will be relatively large," Spyro said. "And we haven't been attacked by anything yet, so there's not too much to worry about..."

"Thats what you think" said a ghostly voice from the top of the stairs the figure of an old man soon appeared in front of them. in his hand he held a curved sword. "What are you doing in my hotel?' he said, where his eyes had once been there were only pools of yellow light.. "Get out!"

"No," Cynder replied, confused to be asked such a question. She glanced up the stairs at the owner of the ghostly voice and jumped into a defensive position, teeth barred and her wings spread.

"Ghost!" B.G. exclaimed jumped and clinging to Bulk, shaking with fear.

"We're spending the night..." Spyro replied, having also dropped into a fighting posture like Cynder.

"So.. you think.." The ghost smiled showing decaying teeth.. "Well, my 'guests' you will learn here at the Inglorious Hotel, unwanted guests NEVER check out!"
He pointed his blade at them. "But, since it is our first meeting, I give you fair warning! Be gone by sunrise, or you will never leave this hotel alive!"
